- A big step to changing the look of the layout. Adding to the landscape but the addition of grass and trees transforms the whole model railway.
I used Primo models trees and green scenes ‘spring’ 4mm static grass.
I hope you enjoyed the video!
I bought some for my hard to reach places on the shelf layout, not got around to trying it yet so this was a great how to. i guess you could place the liner and then use an old shaver to trim it 😂 i bought actual shaped liner sadly, didnt see this roll you used. Looks much better.
Coming really nicely - thank you for the further ideas and for sharing. And Happy Easter.
Layout just keeps on getting better, it's really coming along nicely, and those trees look great.
That front portion looks awesome. Those primo trees really help too.
The new section is looking great
Looking excellent Triss thankyou for the tips and video
Hi Tris.
Love the Idea of the basket liner. Must save a lot of time.
Tried to find different ways to make trees, woodland scenics charge the earth for them. Making my own ok don't look as good as the bought ones.
Thanks Tris great vlog buddy.
.... Pete....
Looking good, the Trees add a lot more to the layout.👍
Looking so good. Good to see different techniques. 👌
Nice job, the whole scene is coming together beautifully
Another great video nice seeing the updates
Great work Tris. That grass looks excellent. Complemented by the great trees. I made a load of trees last year using various techniques and now I just need to get the layout to a stage where they can be planted!
Trees look good mate quality
Hi Tris , It's nice to see another one of your little Fun episodes again , each one is a little gem, and learning something new again - that's a great idea using hanging basket lining for the grass - it really gives a good effect , and love the trees too . Your interesting layout is looking so good now - Thank you for sharing , Have Fun ! Best Wishes, Ron
Excellent episode, now we need to see if you can shunt!
Great work, Tris!! It’s really beginning to become a lovely little layout!!
Really enjoyable video….. the trees look cool! Great idea using the basket liner.
Nice work..very entertaining series.
Looks good. Those trees are nice . . .
Nice video Tris. The front portion of the layout came out great. Those trees are a nice addition to the layout. Maybe 1 or 2 more towards the end of the layout will look nice.
A wonderful series Triss. The layout is really progressing well and some of your techniques and ideas are excellent. Perhaps some animal life on the new front section? Looking forward to the next episode.
Coming along nicely Tris. I saw the Primo trees at last years GETS and they looked amazing on your layout.
What a great idea, I’ve not seen that done on any other channel. Not only money saving advice, but also it must have saved time compared to grassing in the normal fashion. End result looks very good. Now going to check out those tree’s website as they are outstanding. Never heard of them.
Nice one Tris.
Good morning Tris!! You might be interested to hear that I’m making a second layout, this time in a briefcase. Of course, it will be a small engine shed in 00 using two locomotives.
good video series
Coming up next, fencing, stone walls and cows.
looking good
I say put some rocks or livestock by the trees mate and I love the progress for the layout
Great video, tris. I need to catch up with your content. What is happening with the loft layout? Just noticed this series of shunting layout. So I'm assuming you have not done anything with the loft layout. Take care, mate, and happy modelling
Gee Tris that layout is getting way bigger. Do you still have room to work in there? 😁
My little office layout has 1 track running behind my monitors and splitting up into sidings that run along a very long windowsill.
It doesn't really encroach on my work zone so it's perfect for me. It doesn't look anywhere near as nice as yours though. Cheers!
Hey neal for you next layout can you use the kato cv1 and cv3
Me waiting for OO9 scale stuff:

Thankyou bubbie 🩵♾️❤️ Robbie
