I believe it's a natural progression...kits, kit-bash, scratch build. With a kit you get fed up pretty quickly when you realize the limitations and ability to mix with other structures and scenery. Kit-bashing solves SOME of these problems, but not until you reach the scratch build era of your modeling do you truly feel like the creator of your world! 🌎
Very imp0ressive. I have been looking for some HO scale 1950's era coal trucks/dump trucks. Most of what I have found so far look too recent to be used. Where did he find the ones on this layout?
They are old Ulrich kits that need to be built and painted from the 70s very hard and pricey if you can find them. I have none I can sell Segrave models in business has some kits too
