Never expected this game could be entertaining to watch while played by others 😂 I really love on how you keep commentating and the editing really good hahaha
This boss is brutal. I pretty much had to stop playing the story for a season, and focused on farming, requests, and most importantly, forging. I ended upgrading my steel sword, bracelet, and shield with like 10 levels of bronze each. Even then, it wasn't exactly a cakewalk either.
If you are planning to do this fight on the remaster here is a tip 1. Having Zaid is optional and its actually easier to fight Skelefang alone because.... you can turn back into a Human after entering the Arena 2. Bring a Dual Blade Art, more specificly the one that make you Fly to the enemy you need it or alternatively the Spear Art where you Corkwheel screw 3. Dont attack the Skelefang and keep a distance UNTIL it about to start doing the Charge Attack, if you attack it when its Charging ALL the Skeletons will dissapear because it triggers a unique animation for interupting its Charge(Like how attacking the Tanuki Boss in his Shadow Clone Mode turn him into the Small Tanuki) The 2 Arts i mentioned give you a insanely long invincibility Frame soo they are MUCH safer option to use for parrying Skelefang
I don't usually watch playthroughs of the rf series but something told me I should check out this series and honestly? Instant Subscribe! Your commentary is really funny and it absolutely feels like you're playing for fun/enjoyment/genuine love of the game unlike some others i've seen! Absolutely continuing, keep up the great work!
Indeed, that's the best song in game followed by night town ost. So sad you didn't upload RF2 Fiersome battle, that battle has one of the best ost in the whole series as well. Anyway, maybe you should try using Light Barrier magic against this boss if you decide to play a new file in future. This way, you'll be able to reach its core faster due to Light Barrier attack speed.
3:10 wait, you CAN DO THAT?! The first time I fought Skelefang, I was half dying in desperation because fighting as a wooly is hard af. I was running around, swearing like a sailor in a body of a thirteen years old before I realized that Zaid had died at the entrance and I can transform when no one was on the screen. I transformed and killed the dang skeleton. That bone armor is wicked.
When you leveled your weapons enough, you can do attack combos that makes you invicible during the attack. Spear has a very long combo, just time the attack to freely hit the boss: )
Spear is very great to break out of encirclement (Love the battle design). But the reach is a bit too hard to control, I prefer Longsword if we're talking about reach. However, Spear has a very broken repeat attack. Srsly, most of its high level rune ability is like a spam so I agree. I love using spear rune abilities while using my swords.
you have got to be one of the craziest gamer i've ever seen. i mean you charged into a somewhat challenging boss fight while both underleveled and with lackluster equipment for that point in the game. i can beat this boss easily even on hard mode but that's because unlike you i don't play my games sub-optimally.
WHO WOULD WIN?
Skelefang
or
Zaid entering a room

"Skelefang is such a cool boss"
Famous last words
Scrags at the beginning of the episode: “Skelefang is such a cool boss”
Scrags at the end of the episode: “I hate Skelefang”

"Skelafang was not easy money"

Use water canon or magic that homes in on the enemy thats how to easily heal and keep fighting skelefang
8:43 Daria wants to put a nametag on you that says "jeb_"

I imagine Skelefang screaming “PK Thunder!”
Man I love ur editing keep it up!
I'd say Skelefang is not that hard, the hardest part is when doing Kuruna's quest :(
