This let's play series taught me to stay still if ever I need an emergency supply of RP. Thank you for giving Rune Factory some of the exposure it deserves!
Hi I just wanted to tell you that I genuinely appreciate you giving this and the rest of the RF series the love it deserves. This is BY FAR my favorite playthrough of this. I can’t stand any of the other people I’ve attempted to watch play this. I haven’t played an RF game since the 3ds days and I just grabbed 3,4 and 5 for switch but ofc I had to do 4 first. Is there any online wiki or beginners guide you’d recommend? I feel really lost and like I’m missing a lot and not doing enough.
I’m not sure if I’m the right person to give you tips since my playstyle is very casual and unserious lol. Though in terms of 4/Special, there’s sadly not a lot of detailed wikis on the game from what I’ve found since the series is pretty niche, but there is some information you could pick out from them (sadly they’re all wikia but I couldn’t find other good resources for items and the like besides game8 for RF5). Though there are some GameFAQs guides on the game at least. (while I can’t vouch for 4 specifically, I used one for 3 back when I was getting started and it was pretty helpful). Not sure what you mean by not doing enough, but imo the game is well-paced and flexible enough to give you the time to learn the stuff as you go, so you can play with any weapon or at any pace you like and you should be fine. Maybe try messing around with forging/crafting and upgrades or different monsters/townspeople to team up with if you haven’t yet, but otherwise the game will usually let you know in the diary if you missed anything like a story beat or a Town Event if you get lost. Again, I’m not an expert on this game or series or anything, so this is just the resources I’ve found/what I’ve heard from others, but hopefully you can find something useful in these paragraphs lol
All of the Rune Factory 3 characters moved on to write Lest's Request Box personification arc
You can put the man in Rune Factory 3. But you can’t take the Rune Factory 3 out of the man 🤠

piece of advice, when you use tools try mashing the button to use them.
