    Do you think a small rig cage with handle is a good choice to use for some of the panning angles for these fitness videos?

    hey, great tutorial. your "how to shot" videos encouraged me, to start my own gym videos. today I made my third one, but now I have some trouble I never had befor. When I came home with the footage, I noticed that my footage has some kind of "ghosting" effect (mostly in the fast movement). It looks like two videos overlapping. I´m really shure it has nothing to do with the shutter speed (always double frame rate). I used the same settings as usual.
    sony a6700
    Slog3
    all shots handheld
    standard stabilization (last times steady shot).
    50fps, shutter speed 100.
    auto white balance (last times manuel white balance).
    the footage got the "ghosting" effect in davinci resolve and as well if I play it in VLC player.
    please help

    Sort of a broad question, but what's the market like for people who want cinematic fitness videos for themselves? As you said it could be anyone from the every day gym rat to the athlete and fitness influencer. I imagine local trainers could use it for their own marketing material, and I'm sure location is a factor. But once you knock out those first few free videos, are people lining up for this or are you having to sell them on it?
    You're content great! Thank you!

    What shutter speed are you filming this at? Or what do you think is the optimum fps settings.

  • @Digital963
    @Digital963 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    No shade just sayin, IBIS (In Body Stabilization) is a physical feature not electronic. Imagine the sensor on a gyroscope (not that this is exactly what it is but to explain it as simply as possible I think this does a bit of justice)

    Awesome information! I am a newbie and i tend to use my dji osmo gimble with my mobile to make videos, i need to start using my dslr (cannon 77d) Do you think the kit lense 18 135mm and prime lense 50mm will do the job?

    • @RoyalZProduction
      @RoyalZProduction  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Appreciate the support on the video and glad you enjoyed! So yeah, a Canon 77D would be a great place to start. At least you've started with your cell phone just to get a good idea of how video works and the general approach at it. I commend you for that! Secondly, the kit lens and 50mm prime will work for sure. Honestly, just use what you got and if you can save for a used or new Canon 35mm F/1.4, it's going to help you out a lot as that's my go-to fitness video lens. Reason being is a 35mm focal length portrays close to what the human eye see's so the athletes physique and everything actually looks very natural on screen.

    • @RoyalZProduction
      @RoyalZProduction  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This entire fitness video was filmed with the Canon R7. It only costs $1500.00 USD ($2000 CAD). I think for that price, its the best camera in that price range by far. Now, if you're on a tighter budget than that, I recommend under $1000 either a Lumix G7, used Lumix GH5, Canon M50. If you have more than $4000 budget, look at the Canon R5C, Canon R5, Sony A7SIII, Black Magic Pocket Cinema 6k/6k Pro. There are many options to choose from depending on your budget but there is never a 'best camera'. All cameras have their strong and weak points. Pick whatever camera has specs that suite your needs best

    Does anyone know any camera that has this quality but with motion tracking?

    • @RoyalZProduction
      @RoyalZProduction  ปีที่แล้ว

      By motion tracking do you mean auto focus? If so, just get the same camera! Canon R7 has awesome quality, shoots 4k up to 60fps, CLOG 3 picture profiles, image stabilization, and amazing auto focus. Only costs $1500

    Why most of gym videographer use low focal lenth lenses such as 24mm or 35mm or even 16 mm i don't know why .. but i tried using this i didn't see the shots are good as 85 mm or 70 mm it looks better in my opinion and it shows the athlete looks better

    The canon adapter sucks. For $100, it’s way too expensive. Other brands make it and it works just as well for $30-50

    • @RoyalZProduction
      @RoyalZProduction  ปีที่แล้ว

      I normally like to just go with reputable brand names but honestly, I've owned the canon adapters for years and have never had an issue with them. A couple of mine I've owned for 3 years now without an issue. Solid $100 spent in my opinion! But I totally know what you're saying.

    • @Burritosarebetterthantacos
      @Burritosarebetterthantacos ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your worried about a $100 adapter your not on Canon level yet😂

    • @Haveyoueverbeenswallowed
      @Haveyoueverbeenswallowed ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m a Lumix guy. Our lenses are relatively expensive and scarce compared to canon, so idk what level you’re talking about. Unless you have something better than an R6, we aren’t at the same level 🤣🥱

    Your fitness video would look much more professional if you took care about the light. Fitness videos need cinematic light if you dint want the video amateurish looking

    • @RoyalZProduction
      @RoyalZProduction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      The purpose of this tutorial is to show beginners or people who haven’t shot a fitness video yet before that you just need to pick up your camera and press record. Aka practice. Composition and camera angles are things you can practice if you don’t yet own lights. I’ve talked to hundreds of videographers who think they need lights before they can execute a fitness video which is so totally false. I do agree with you that it can up the quality however it isn’t absolutely necessary to pull the video off. Watch any of my other fitness videos on the channel, lighting was used unless it wasn’t for the sake of proving a point in a tutorial
