@@MarkBates-y9q yes. Not immediately, it still had a weird behaviour, like turning on/off by itself, so I had to let it try for a couple of hours as I already closed the battery lid and I was not in mood to unscrew again all those screws, lol. Guess I should have used the hairdryer more. But now it works just fine. SO probably use the hairdryer more than 2-3 minutes as I did.
I ended up putting a freezer bag around the new controller board before reinstalling next to the battery. I poked a small Hole in it for the wires to flow through. I have 2 flat tires and don’t run it often but so far no issues.
Yes, it can be the control board, but it could also be the on off button that became moist and must to be clean. It is better to try the button first... turn off battery connectors, disassembly the dashboard, detach the button, clean and send the metal plate (The one that makes the click), mount everything again and test it. Only if doesn't work go and buy a new control box.
Mine is having the same problem like turning on and off I’ve seen videos and opened the bottom side connected properly it was fine for few hours and suddenly it started again can anyone help me with it?
I am experiencing the same problem now.. mine is not turning of and up until now the lights are on since morning. shall I just leave it and not charging..?? Please let me know what to do.. first time experience..

Hairdryer did the trick for me. Make sure you keep it on cold air, not hot.
Did it work mate

Exactly the same for me. Do you find the solution please ?@@prottaybarua2496
I had the same problem for a few months and was resolved spontaneously without doing anything. Probably it was related to moisture.
