Xiaomi M365 No Power! MY Xiaomi Scooter is broken, it won't turn on anymore, no power when you click the power switch! If someone could help me, that would be great because i aint got a clue lol!

I had a similar issue and I was in contact with the import company. They said that it's sounds like a moisture issue and it wouldn't go under the warranty... So I opened the bottom plate, disconnected the power supply connection and all the other connections on the circuit board. At this point I could feel that the connection are wet, so i took my hair dryer and blew the connections for a couple of minutes. Plugged every thing back and the scooter came alive. No need for changing fuses or anything else.
P.s. watch out for the bottom plates screws, they are really weak and will easily break if operating power tools. Good luck!
It worked on my scooter got abit water damaged took all the wires out used the hairdryer now it’s working perfectly 👏🏻
What color was your battery pack light? Mine is a solid blue and the charger stays green
Trouble :BMS flashes LED, but the scooter does not turn on.Solution :1. Check battery output voltage. If it is in the range of about 30 to 42 volts, it means that the BMS board and the battery pack are OK, and the problem should be looked for in the scooter controller.2. If the voltage at the output of the scooter is below 30 volts, pay attention at the blinking LED, it signalserrors that disable the discharge of the battery:a) a short flash once per second means at least one of the parallels of the battery is discharged below the level of the "Cell under voltage" parameter. It is important to understand why this happened. If the battery is completely discharged, and all the cells are evenly discharged to alow level - this is the normal mode of operation, there is nothing to worry about, you just need to connect the charger and charge the battery. But if only one parallel dropped down - this is a cause to look for broken contacts or a faulty cell.b) continuous light - means the protection against over current or short circuit protection has activated. In this case, you just have to wait 10-20 seconds.c) a long flash once a second - it means that the protection against temperature rise has activated. In this case, wait until the temperature drops.d) a short flash every half a second - this is normal mode, there are no errors disabling the discharge of the battery. If the LED blinks like this, but there is no voltage at the BMS output, it means the board malfunction, please contact the technical support
This is not much good. Remember the guy said he has no idea what he is doing, so he's not going to have any idea what all this means.

A few steps
1. disconnect battery main plug (the black one)
2. Measure voltage and under-load, if its 20v no load, and goes to 3-4v with a little bulb or anything, then its a weak solder.
3. Using exacto knife examine all solder joints (they are on the bottom and top face of the battery as well). You will see they are weak if you press them.
4. Using 100W or larger soldering iron, re flow the solder on the battery.
They rarely die but it does happen, its a battery issue regardless, the M365 is a tank so its not junk by any means.

Check voltages in this 4-pin connector in the mainboard (black-yellow-green-red):
* black to red about 5 V
* black to green about 36...42 V (depends on the charging level).
The same should be on the board inside the steering wheel (you can lift up gently using flat screwdriver - it's glued by the doublesided adhesive tape).
Were you able to solve the problem? I'm having the same issue. I've already solded some tabs on the battery and it worked for a week. But now every time I connect the charger the scooter stops working and won't turn on again.

@@keanwalsh4292 It's the tabs on the battery! we fixed our scooter by solding the loose tabs, you can take it to a scooter shop or do it yourself

I know zip about that scooter. Multimeter on on off switch. Then mosfet controller most likely problem areas. Good luck!
Take the 4 screws on the top near bars check the connector to the display it does manage to come off some times if not strip the display and check connecters
This is a big flaw for the scooter.
The scooter has an energy recovery system that charges the batteries when you coast or use the brakes and it will damage the batteries when you do so at 100% or with an almost fully charged battery. My xiaomi scooter did not arrive yet so I do not know anything about fixing it. I heard that you will blow a fuse of some sort and you may get that repaired or buy a new battery pack.
I guess you should let the motor free spin and get some power out before you set off.
Heard there is a reset button of some sort on the upper right of the pack. Try holding it a few seconds in.
It should be under the massive black sticker
I think this was fixed with a firmware update.

How do you check cells?, Where are they exactly? Cause my scooter did turn off permanently after going over a bump
The firet time ive had a problem with my aovopro ive rode it for hours , all the way down till the red light start to blinking indicating that its about to die on me...after riding it all the way down till there is nothing left in it, I believe all scooters are program to shut off once it reaches its dead limit to protect it....but getting it to cut back is the real problem. I then charged it up fully, then open up the bottom to look inside ..played around with the wires while holding/turning the power button on off & it came back on to my surprise......the second time, i rode it all the way down till there was nothing left in it & the red light started blinking on me, it shut off on me this time and tap out when there was no juice left... But This time when i hit the power button to cut it back on or to see if it had any juice left in it... it didnt cut back on,, but it will charge doe....some say it could be the fuse, but i do not see any fuses or no where the fuse box is. Please help ......it will charge but will not cut on ,what could be the problem here???
On my M365 the Cable form the ON Switch to the Controller was broken, I replaced it and it works fine now

I'm dealing with a dead one as well, at first one of the tabs on the battery was loose so it would not charge. I used a wad of tape to add pressure to that connection once the battery cover was back on and it worked for a week or two. Then after a normal commute of 4 miles, I turned it off and now it won't turn back on. No power and it won't charge anymore.
I was able to fix mine. Two of the leads / clips connecting the batteries detached. I had to cut away the clear plastic protection to find which ones were bad and then solder them back together.

My aovo pro looks totally different inside from yours but I am experiencing the same thing...the red-light on the charger indicates that it is charging, on your scooter... and the green light indicates that it is fully charge....my aovopro charges properly but for some reason will not cut on....I am also looking to fing the fuse box or to locate the fuses but cannot find it or has not seen anyone with a avopro with this problem so far

I ordered one of these from Amazon (I live in Oakland ca) The UPS driver ended up stealing my package and then they ended up sending me one for free and now when I try to press it on I turn it on it flashes but then it turns right back red and off

Have you checked the contact under the power button I had one that wouldn’t power on so I removed the metal plate and rubber button under it was a small metal contact disk I cleaned it and put it back together then it powered on

Mine is turing on blue flashing like on battery after changing bms....but got soild red on the box opposite? ....lcd display turns on but no power

I changed the bsm and that control board with the wires that go to it...still no power to front... Mine turns on links to the scooter app but still has a red LED on.. whilst now the battery has a continuous blue flashing LED which it never had before it was red.im.fuming as it's not old at all but thank u for getting back to me 🤝🏻

Hi everyone, I have received my scooter and it doesn't work at all since the beginning. I have never used it and it's brand new.
It doesn't turn on in any way and the battery doesn't charge at all. The light on the charger remains green, it never turns red.
I opened the bottom part and followed the instructions on this video and others I saw.
When I plug in the wire to the battery, inside the battery I can see the red light flashing only 4 times. After 4 times it stops blinking.
I saw the connections on the battery and they seemed well fused on it. No one is moving.
What do you think it could be the problem? I thought about something about the battery that doesn't work properly.
Can someone help me?

I had the same problem. I folded the scooter and held it upside down which fixed it at least temporarily. May have been a loose connection
Bro your a god, I legit had it folded and it wasn’t working trying to fix it. But the I put it straight and it started working again
Probably means broken wire where u bend it at. Moving it causes it to reconnect for awhile.

Hi Zoe. Not sure if you have seen my other video. I did fix it temporarily in the other video with replacing a fuse, but then the fuse blew again! This kept on happening, so I sold it eventually as not working 😞
New battery circuits board or new motor control box is needed more than likely unless there broken cracks circuitconnection on bat ... simple fix... what u needed was a low voltage testing kit,to traces the current...

I have had this problem today I actually tried flashing my scooter because I was told it would make it faster, I have the m365 lite model and it was all going fine it flashed and said stand by my scooter whilst uploading , then told me to reboot my scooter then ever since I have not been able to turn my scooter back on, however the tail light flashes red for a minute or so if u try turning the power button back on ? Can anyone help me please 🙏

Reset the BMS on the scooter..... It works with any model that "stops working" or "won't turn back on"
It's a safety mechanism for the battery. There's a little button Located on the motherboard you can see just after the lineup of batteries. You'll need the female (flat on one side, rounded on other) for the larger main power connector piece, so that your charger is connected directly to the battery. Look closely and you'll see a button on the motherboard, Poke a hole thru the plastic, press it.... You should see it begin to flash red and your charger should for the same.
There's one on each of the main three types off batteries used by scooters.

Keep all wires in xx red light means it needs a charge xx wait until light is green xx

Need to unplug everything as possible. Need to hold power button. If that's no helping need to disconect battery, to make sure no lights blinking at all. Set it up. Should work
Before you unplug everything, make sure you take a picture of the wires connected so you know which ones connect with which when you plug them back again.
Hey Brainiac, the plugs are all different and none are interchangable, take a picture of this and study it.
