Best large blade at this price point and leaves much more expensive blades waaay back in the dust... my personal favourite for many years now.!!! I carry this as a light axe (beil) replacement because it has almost same chopping power but is overall more versatile.
yes!
Totalment d'acord.

I was about to say you were being too gentle on the knife with the tip tests, and then you bent it 80 degrees multiple times and it doesn't even take a set. Phenomenal.
Top notch knife and testing.
thanks a lot!
Amen to that! The Varusteleka boys and girls are proud you and your work hopefully 🍻
This is what I asked for - and got - for my birthday from my wife. Thanks to you. My entire wish list consists only of knives that you have tested and found to work for you.
u have a nice wife!
Excellent video Joe, the Scandinavians sure know how to make good blades!
this one yes!
This knife made of Finlad, it’s in Fennoskandia, not Skandinavia 😉
@@rautateemu yes scandinavia is Norway, Sweden n Denmark. Calling it Norden would be ok as that is Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland n Island.
WoW amigo...that was nearly mission impossible. Epic blade 🐝👊👍
it is!
Excellent video Joe X. Thanks
thanks a lot!
Sir , you were a professional destruction artist , totally agree ! 👍👍👍💪💪💪
awesome, thanks bro!
Awesome review Joe.
I was chopping wood with my 12” Bowie and had a slip like you did. The knife buried itself in my shin and I had to go to hospital for stitches. I waited for 4 hours but the bleeding wouldn’t stop. The stitches hurt worse than the accident.😂
cool, thanks"
I have that knife. One time i was swinging at a stump, trying to get a piece of Fatwood from it. I made a glancing blow and almost burried it in my shin!
I dont take full-power swings with it anymore, but i do keep it razor sharp. Excelent tool!
many of my replies are deleted by YT , thats weird!
I have had one for years, and still as good! They don't give their soldiers crap knives!
yeah, nice army!
Awesome testing. I was surprised the tip didn't break at the hole. 80CrV2 steel is incredibly tough and the manufacturer seems to have dialed in the heat treat.
awesome, thanks bro!
better than a 300.00 tops knife 👍👍👍👍👍
exactly!
I want one. And the 80 . Obviously I am not sure if I should get this or a civivi. From what I've heard civivi is unbeatable....that being said a 240 and an 80 would be great for me.
CIVIVI!!!!!
@@joex always !! !!!!!!!!
I like how the breaking points look so smooth.
And the transition between blade and tang is gradual without stress risers.
yeah, it is a good one!
you are a barbarian, you killed an indestructible knife 😂
Jackass is more accurate
i know sorry!
whats a "Jackass" porn?
I used to have this knife, but got rid of it,,, 🤯,, really wishing I hadn't now,, 😢😢,,, fantastic video as usual, 👍👍👍🗡️🗡️
thanks a lot!
Terava knives are amazing
indeed!
*Terävä
Enjoyed - thanks!
u are welcome!
Thank you for taking the time and energy to make this video Joe, especially while hungover.
That's on my wants list, such a badazz chopper.
yeah, u do stupid things when u are drunk...
Amazing! It still works even when rusty.
yes!
I have a set for garden, forest, fishing, hunting Terava Skrama 240, Jaakaripuukko 110, Jaakaripuukko 85 Bare Tang.
Metal pipes and red cars do not grow in my garden, the nearest forest or river, and I have much less strength)
My knives will live a very long life)
Thanks for the good movie.
u are welcome!
Real nice blade for under 120.00 they got the heat treat right this would be one to buy..... thanks Joe
u are welcome!
That is a knife!
yes!
By favorite big blade! Finland did a great job! Can get razor sharp easy on my Shapton water stones fast too!
they did!
Wow, what a performance of the 240 Skrama and action testing, bro! 🍻
The Skrama and also the Jääkäripuukko, love them all, own them all! The handle grip is just awesome! Love the leather sheaths and the hardening of them blades!
Perfect balance of hardness and toughness!!! Bro, you have found your bending master! 😂🍻
Greetings to you, amigo and the Varusteleka boys and girls!
awesome, thanks bro!
@@joex You‘re welcome, bro 🍻
Great knife for the price!! I bet they are in high demand.👍
i think so too!

You are so funny, you make my day better
glad u like my stuff!
The Skrama alredy had a great reputation and JOE X made it even better . Is the warranty on the Stabby Red car still good? How much do you want for it? Have a *fantastic" Friday and weekend.
thanks a lot!
Mine is on the way, greetings from San Diego, CA Joe!!
thanks a lot!!! greets to MERICA!
Great Knife - great Test! Marlboro
thanks ! Marlboro!!!
Fine stuff...which I don't do😂 love your content brother. I owe my Skrama 240 purchase to your original review
cool u are not regretting it!
Such an impressive blade! Stay safe!!
i will, thanks!
Hola Joe, ese Terava realmente te hizo trabajar duro! Muchas gracias por compartir!
mucho gusto amigo!
I’m watching the tip test right now and it’s whipping your ass JoeX! Wow. I’m blown away.
glad u like my style!
Alright my friend !
thanks a lot!
Fuck yeah! I forgot about this bad boy so I ordered one for like $90 total with shipping from Finland! That's the cheapest biggest 80crv2 you'll find! Can't wait to get a 110 or any others!
good choize!
@@joex what's up with getting one your t shirts you have anything for sale? Shit I'd buy all kinds of your stuff 👊
i is not as easy! i need to figure stuff out
I have made a 240mm bladed 80crc2 puukko and its really a great chopper. I havent wagged it as hard as you but for wood working it works great. I have fastened the handle piece from the top part of the fishtang through a brass plate with a hammer and glued the construction together thats how it wont come apart.
nice! i should test it!
@@joex I need this leuku for myself but its not Impossible to make a leuku for you but I wont promise anything. It would be epic to see you beat a leuku I made 😁
Magnífico trabajo amigo. Sigues siendo mi TH-camr favorito 👍
gracias!
I use an Skrama200 - same steel and handle material, but 4cm shorter blade. Done hard work with it, but never destroy it. But I never done hard work like you with it and also never shoot on it - but now I think I can ;-) nice vid 👍
cool, thanks!
WOW SUPER MESSER . GEFÄLLT MIR .
yes!
I ordered one of these when they started making them. Mine did not survive a small aspen tree. I had bought supplies to make a sheath for it because they had none at the time. Never got that far.
sorry to hear that!
Joe x good as always 🤓😎
thanks a lot!
Lieblings Destruction artist
awesome, thanks bro!
Awesome!
thanks a lot!
Did you not already test this blade in an older video?
yes i did!
Ive been thinking of picking this blade up, think i will now. Couldnt find a good chopper so ive been using a small hatchet
u need this one!
If I ever break my Condor bushman parang, I’m getting this for sure
u should!
I still wonder the Sissipuuko broke so easy since it is made from the same steel from the same factory, I would expect similar performance
there will be no part 2 !
@@joex OK, null problemo
what a good Knife!🗡👍
indeed!
Tough blade.
The blade coming out of the handle is its weak point.
That could be taken care by the manufacturer.
Maybe the pommel a little wider so it stops the rubber handle from sliding backwards.
Or a couple of notches in the tang. But only further on the tang. So it doesn't break at those notches, which tend to happpen when they are right below the blade.
it is!
Saludos
Arriba España!!!!!

thanks a lot my lobo!
These are hard not to buy for their price and build.
true!
it's shape after it snapped in half, would make a sick "razel"type knife with some grinding and sharpening!
good idea!
I just ordered this blade. Absolutely beast of a knife. I love the innovation of the different grinds and how they harden the center of the blade to 59hrc and the outside is like 54hrc.... I'm really looking forward to this blade.... #Marlboro
awesome! it is fantastic! Marlboro!
Great review . I've got the 200 version of this knife , oil , oil and more oil 🛢 🔪
cool°
Skrama is KICKING ASS!!
It beat you Joe!
it can try!
Hey Joe,
You shouldn't play with knives, especially large ones, while you have a hangover 😂
On the other hand, I tend to do the same from time to time , so I completely understand 😂😂😂
On the knife itself : Skrama IS Badass ... Good steel, good profile - it's the kind of knife that you could take in a fight / combat in a pinch - hands down ...
i know, but who cares! right!
You can use a pipe as a cheater bar to bend the knife , leveraging and control
i am not cheating!!
How many seconds does it take you to break a cast iron anvil?
max 0,2 sec
Damn mosquitos!
yeah!
Amazing! Reliable knife!
indeed!
Great knife. Love mine.
cool!
Un gran cuchillo. Saludos
gracias amigo!"
With that long lever the tip should break more easy.
It's amazing how much it flexes.
With 2 of them, you could build a crossbow.
for sure possible!
Verry awesome quality of flex.., cutting and choping knife!! I probably buy one. I had 2x Jakaripukko, but this think is insane, price good.
Anyway, what about the BUSSE testing? I've bought one NMSFNO, old production, INFI and better quality, great knife?
delayed because Jerry chickend out! Stickman and this Jerry B. are some cowards!
Rusty as fuck!! I love you brother ❤
thanks!
Hi Joe,
sehr interessant, daß es am Loch nicht gebrochen ist... top job again, respect! 👍
- Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich heute aber... wenn ich Dir schreibe, passe besser auf dich auf, dann betrifft daß auch deine
Knie/ Beine etc., wo Du NICHT hinein stechen/ hacken/ schneiden sollst... 😉
Bis neulich, LG Gedankengeist 👻

I think well heattreated 80CrV2 resp. L2-steel is very much compareable to 3V if not better.
i think better!"
WOW 🔪💪🏼😳
yes!
What a great blade. And it’s not too big so be easy to Carry on a belt. How many Euro’s do they cost? Great blade design and handle design. 🇦🇹 🇫🇮 🇳🇿

thanks a lot!
Hey Joe. Try the HX Outdoors Mercenary tactical axe. Looks cool but probably won't last.
nope!
All we could do is cringe whenever Joe X does his destruction tests. Pretty tough knife that one.
indeed!
Is it possible to change the Tip for example with a Flex or similar ? ... i mean make it more as a for example Crocodile Dundee Knive or similar = sharper edge ??? 🙂🤔😂
a real tip would be cool!
Jagdkommando Joe !
never heard of that club!

Lol.

thanks a lot!!!!
Would you say the Cold Steel black bear bowie is better?
no!
Hello I've got a question for Joe but also other users who had experience with Cold Steel Trail master. What do you think about it, which steel would you choose? (Cpm V3 or Vg1 San Mai III version) or is it overrated and not worth buying? If it is legit from which european website can I buy one which isn't fake? Thanks for any advice, love the channel best regards.
By Europe I meant EU
Trail M will never happen! sorry!
buy a Skrama!

Hi joe bist du ein Österreicher, und lebst du in Österreich?
dont know!
a guats messer, is scho 2x bestellt 😊
cool!
🤝👍✊
thanks!
Now you have to do it again in the stainless steel :) lol
not on the market!
weird since i bought one @@joex
There's a Skrama 200 chef's knife in stainless, but it's not really the same. Pity as rust is a pain with the 240. I should stop being so precious and let it grow some marks...
The new destructtest got a little complicated for me. One bottle of wine could not quench the new sauce (the last supper), so I had to take a nap. While I was looking further, the second bottle was used up and I dozed off again. Damn Joe, was that destructtest boring or did I drink too much wine? I'm going to watch it again. This time without a thirst quencher. 👍😉
i think u drink too much!!! or too lesss?

Man i like your video you are fuckin intense man!
I've been thinking of buying this knife since it came out In 2016 or something on varusteleka...now I know I will. Just the rust thing bugs me, it would not be practical in the rain forest.
thanks a lot!!!!! it is a must have!
I wish you were my neighbor , oh and did you barf in your mask?
yeah would be cool, no, i ate my vomit! no energy is wasted here!
Yum

The only reason why it is even half tuff is because it has a straight full thickness profile with a very crappy thick edge. Even then, you babyed it on the car. Your stabs were half hearted and even chopping at the door you werern't going full force. That makes all the difference in how much damage the knife will take. For such a prybar I expected it to be tougher. Pretty crappy knife. There is much better at this price that can actually cut and stab.
but i like ti!
For example? Can You suggest a few knives better than the skrama? Thanks.
@@BladeWalker77 . Sure at near or under prices range, silky nata 240mm, condor moonshiner bowie, cudeman bowie, ontario marine raider bowie. I prefer knives that have a point so the skrama and the silky nata don't cut it. But the nata is a good knife. Any himalayan imports khukuri would work as well.
@UcoSalta thanks! I have a Cudeman entresierras, I love fit and finish of Spanish knives.
@@BladeWalker77 Cudeman seems to have a lot of really nice designs. Boker's Argentine made knives are also very good. But I am biased. 😁
