Of course, that is a consequence of the steel used, which is made in Deutschland. Like many other high carbon steels, it will rust. But the solution is simple and well known: take care of the blade! In my experience, the leather sheaths are excellent too. We're not surprised that your test knife eventually broke. After all, they all break, and that IS your goal. if you take knife requests i dont think ive seen you test the lars falt casstrom, i got mine for bushcraft based off dbk recommendations and it fitting my budget, being locally available and i thought it looked nice :)

You could visit again some famous models you did years ago, because now your different steps of destruction are very well organized. Maybe also you could test 2 knives at same time, knives that are very similar but from different companies, or an original knife with a cheap copy. You are doing great I just share my thoughts. :)

you should also look over knives before you kill them..is the edge even straight from the factory or lopsided or wavy s shape...does it feel solid before you smack on it...personally i have found shit quality straight out of the box and pricetag doesnt seem to matter....nothing says great knife then having to break out a file on a knife that is brand new
