- Aaron Nesmith is the best three-point shooter in this draft. His size and length at 6'6", 215, with a 6'10" wingspan, make him a truly intriguing 2-way prospect. He's another guy who has a defined role at the next level, which is a huge plus in this draft full of guys who may have more talent or potential but less of a defined or projectable role.
I see Aaron Nesmith going anywhere from the late-lottery to the mid-twenties depending on how the rest of the draft shakes out. A stress-fracture in his right foot is concerning but not enough to diminish his draft stock. If he can improve his handle and ability to finish at the rim, he can be a high-level impact guy for a long time.

i hope he's there for them. where this draft benefits the celtics is that they have their core. they don't need stars. they just need good role players. if they become stars, thats just a bonus

@@crazyluigi6664 can't believe PHX took Jalen Smith at 10. Maybe they got cocky after reaching for cam johnson last year and having it work out. I really liked Smith and was hoping celtics could package 26 and 30 to got get him in late teens early 20s but wouldn't have wanted him at 14. 10 was a crazy reach.

@@crazyluigi6664 I thought PHX would take Nesmith, having him as a shooter wit cam book and paul distributing would've been lethal. Glad we got him. Celts desperately needed shooting. I wasn't too upset about trading bane. I liked him as a prospect but we got 2 of the 3 things we needed. A 3 pt specialist and a back up pg that can also hit contested shots and run the 2nd unit. I liked pritchard riller and flynn and would've been happy with any of the 3. Any one that really paid attention knew the celtics couldn't use all 3 1st rounders in this draft unless 1 of em would agree to be stashed. Now we have to get a big man(myles turner hopefully) but that's looking less likely but is still a possibility. With that said i still like Jalen smith and hope he does well with PHX. I was just surprised that he went that early.

his weaknesses could easily be turned into strengths with mentoring from Marcus Smart or Kemba Walker.
This guy's hustle reminds me of Marcus. That in itself makes me excited he's on our team.
You predicted what happened just his offense is not that consistent due to his minutes. He is a pacer now and he will most likely breakout if he gets minutes

Aaron Nesmith has Klay Thompson written all over him. If I was the Chicago Bulls that is who I would target.

Fultz has been great for them and he’s only going to get better. If he never returns fully to his old shooting production then he needs to be surrounded by shooting and athleticism.

A lot of his “weaknesses “ on offense come from the defense being able to clog the paint with 2, 3, sometimes even 4 defenders on his drives to the basket. This is something teams cannot get away with at the next level.
He’ll benefit greatly from the floor spacing at the NBA level.
Mark my words, the Atlanta Hawks will draft him with the #6 pick in the draft. I know Travis Schlenk sees his potential and will not pass on this guy!

Wow, a "3&D" prospect that actually plays some defense. I'm pretty sick of that term because most getting called that are primarily jump shooter role players and not much else, certainly not defensive stoppers. I grew up watching players like Moncrief, Rodman, Jordan, Payton, and Olajuwon and have a very different perspective on what a good defender is than what passes for defense these days. Usually when the Pacers make a trade in which everyone thinks they got badly fleeced there are at least one or two underutilized players who have been stuck on the end of the bench who end up being much better than expected, and my guess is this guy is going to be that player.
And with the 11th Pick in the 2020 NBA Draft the San Antonio Spurs select Aaron Nesmith.
