- Tyrell Terry is easily one of the best shooters in this class. His ability to shoot off the dribble and the catch from deep range make him an intriguing prospect.
He doesn't have the ideal size or athleticism for an NBA guard but he makes up for it with competitiveness and a high basketball IQ. Improvements in those areas and defensively will ultimately decide how good he can be in the league.

This draft is deeper than most people realize. There's just no consensus top 3 picks. Most unpredictable in years.

Wow. Feeling like this guy can creep into the lottery. He is small but tough and confident. That shot off the dribble is wonderful.
He did gain some height and weight recently, so who knows? Maybe a team like Phoenix might select him there after all.

My thoughts is the kid is obviously skilled and a great hooper but his small frame definitely gives me concerns playing at the next level but hey, he’s probably heard that his whole life and he has got this far so I wish the best to the kid! Also, love his energy and the comparison of Seth Curry seems perfect, great job!

@@tetameta5204 they needed a defensive presence. Last year's team was historically good on offense but defense wins championships. Luka will elevate the level of the entire team because that's what he does best. Josh and the new recruits will do the same.

The big question to me is if he's willing to accept a Seth Curry type role in the league. The talent is there you just hope he is willing to play with the ball in his hands less.
I’m a fan , not gonna say he’s steph at all but he does move like him, he’s got that Trae/steph style with the quick release on the shot and the similar movement.
He just worked out for my Grizzlies, hopefully we can trade up and snatch him. He has Steph Curry vibes.

I like his game, he’ll give up points but if he goes to a team w good help defenders he can find success, theres lot of small PG’s in this era like for example Fred Vanfleet, Lowery, both Currys, Trae Young, DJ Augustine. Pistons,Philly and the Suns would make sense
He's the same size as Trae Young right? I don't see why he can't be a good player with his elite shooting. Young is definitely the better playmaker right now. Both will be mediocre at defense during their careers because of their size so the organizations they play for need to be cognizant of that and surround them with really good defenders. Wouldn't mind if the knicks trade back and draft him.

No, he won't ever be Trey Young but if he works his butt off he could become Seth Curry. You forget Trey Young was leading the NCAA in points and assists as a freshman and was dominating like that his whole life. Terry is merely benefiting from the Trey Young similarity eye-test.

It doesn't matter how you spin it he won't be Trey Young if not for the need to improve his playmaking skills and handle. Seth Curry is a far better comparison but it even took Curry years to carve out a role.

I get that the top of the draft isn’t as elite as other years but I feel like the depth behind that is way better than it’s been in a while. Usually guys that go in his range have major weaknesses but are elite athletes or something. It seems like a lot of guys projected to go in this area have elite skills like shooting and ballhandling but just lack some physical qualities.

Tyrell Terry and Deni Avdija benefited from the greatness shadow of Luka Doncic and Trey Young but both will get exposed.
Cedi Osman and Seth Curry are better comparisons who actually both had more experience before entering into the NBA. It took years for both of them to develop with limited expectations, both will take a similar route and potentially have a similar outlook if they can stay focused.

I don't see the Seth comparison. He has significantly more offensive creativity than Seth does already. If he can add 10 to 15 pounds of muscle over the next couple years, he'd be a problem. His game is more refined than Killian Hayes, and his shot is better than Haliburton...he should be a 6-10 pick, not mid to late first round.

Honestly he only has hair like Trey Young, Trey Young is way faster and Trey's shot has a faster release. Kid got some work, needs more speed as a point guard and faster release otherwise at 6.2 he gonna get blocked alot.
