@@FeelingLikeThatNow yeah it is Ive been in a lot of muscle cars the past few years but that setup with the 396, 4 speed rock crusher and the rear gear he had mad with the most aggressive ride ever
Oh yeah I know you do. And this one is an original L78 396 with the big transmission pretty cool car. Super aggressive car the definition of muscle car
@@SubdivisionAuto hahaha.... Must have felt even wilder! Compact Muscle vs big mid-size Muscle, 500 + lbs makes a difference I am sure! ;) hahaha. Keep up the great work Max. Love your show.
@@SubdivisionAuto . Yeah, I April fools people, most times my dad, when I buy a new diecast model. I came close a couple times to having one of those I could have restored and drove but it wasn't to be, now they are way out of my price range. My plan was to use a S-10 truck as a donor for the 4.3v6 and 5speed manual. Had one on a car trailer sometime in the early 2000s, and someone came along and talked me out of it with some green paper before I could get it into the garage.
Well Max, this cool car is a long way from my mother's '62 Nova, in beige, 4-door, 6 cyl, 3 on-the-tree, with a non-working radio. In my high school days, my mom let me use it on date nights. I took a transistor radio along for romantic AM radio music. Once, this hot stud had to get out and push it up a small hill since it couldn't make it own its own power. I can't seem to recall if I ever talked to that girl again. LOL
I own an original 69 SS 350 M20 3:31 posi. 88k orig miles. Garnet Red. Red buckets no console. No tach. No AC.Has PS, PDB. Been off the road since 1977. 2 Friends locally have 69 L78's. Nice to see an original owner 69 L78. IMO, It was the best year Nova.
Nate what's happening with that car that's an aweosme build. I actually am restoring a 72 nova on this channel and the one I found has been off the road since 1977 as well. I spent 14 months looking for mine I filmed it all on this chann. Are you planning to restore yours?
Glad you liked it man yeah if I was going for an old school color this would be it for sure. Super cool car I'd love to see this thing on the track especially with that gear ratio. Maybe I can convince him to come to Wayne young lol?
Before the '69s came out , the SS cars all came standard with manual drum brakes , power was an option , with power disc brakes being yet another step up the option list .
I know they had a cool Chevelle and Camaro but I don't think they had a cool nova with a 427. I may be wrong but they only made a limited amount amount and even then they had 396s
You said it, it's the definition of a muscle car. Love that blue!

In 69 you could order a COPO Nova, with a 427 425HP engine.
