This is amazing; been bingewatching for 2 days. Could you please give some context; what's your position and where do you work. I understand you may not be able to give the name of the org, but maybe the size of the org and the industry... I'm a new sub and I can't find it on the channel even after watching a few vids
Hi Oluyimikaa, I work for a multinational software company as an HR Business Partner, my main focus being on career and performance. The company globally is about 20,000 people and I work mainly with managers and employees across EMEAR. I do connect with colleagues from the other locations across the world aswell.
Hi I became a HRBP but more specialised in career and performance in 2.5 years so I didnt get experience as a generic HRBP. Before this I was an intern and then a HR Administrator. After 4 years I am now a general HRBP covering the areas in which most HRBPs operate e.g. recruitment, talent mapping, org structure changes, performance, employee relations
Hey Lish💗Your channel motivates me to begin my career in HR. Going to start my postgraduate degree in international HR in September. However, I do have a question: what are the views in the HR community on professionals with tattoos? I have one big piece myself that I can cover with a long sleeve but I do wonder whether tattoos are still an issue in the corporative field..?
Hi Maria, really glad that my channel has been able to help you in some way :) I would say that there is an increasing acceptance for tattoos in corporate from what I have read. I don't have a tattoo myself or seen any instances where its been an issue but I don't think it's much of a problem in the HR community and in general at work. I think it depends on the culture of the workplace.
