As a woman & first time driver, I chose the Territory as my first car for its safety features and ease of use. Perfect for me since speed isn’t really something I’m concerned about so even though they have similar price, the Coolray hasn’t reached my radar. My 2nd choice was the new base model HR-V. To each their own talaga, it really boils down on what you need it for and what’s important to you as a driver
I've tested driven the Coolray last Sunday and I fell in love with the engine response and the speed. Yes you're right that it makes driving fun. Haven't tried the Territory yet but if it's for the chill factor well... I'd rather be in a spa.

It all comes down to where do you drive and what do you value more, if you want a more dynamic driving and faster car go for GCR if you want a much more comfortable ride and safety go for FT, honestly both cars are pretty even, it all comes down to preference.
Thanks for the video, Kyle. All 3 of Geely's models are excellent for different reasons and the same with the Territory...great for different reasons. I think the top 4 cars for the money offered in the Philippines.
I think the only area where Coolray is better than Territory is driving dynamics but let's be practical, most of us will use the car in city driving and because of that, you can't fully enjoy this driving dynamics. Also I always drive together with my family and so I want a car with lots of safety features and decent engine power that can bring me from point to point. In the end I bought the Territory. It is a beautiful and practical car with lots of tech features that can't be found in Coolray. Best of all, it has a Ford badge. Geely is not a matured brand yet in the Philippines so the reliability is still questionable. Maybe I will consider in few more years. Also some people said the aircon of Coolray is not strong, the body metal and paint is on the thin side, the fuel consumption is poor (6-7km/liter on city) considering it is 3 cylinders only and the drive feel is brutal and not as smooth as the 4 cylinder. These are only few complaints, although no major issues was noted yet due. Also try to think about this, the Dual Clutch Transmission of Coolray is very expensive if it will be damaged due to misuse and poor maintenance. The new owners of Coolray need to research the dos and donts when driving a DCT car in order to avoid misuse and accelerated wear and tear of the clutch. It is different from Automatic Transmission and CVT.
Territory has more features than coolray? Yeah sure, maybe when you pay 1.6m for the top of the line perhaps, but you can't convince anyone that ford is better than coolray which is built at the hands of volvo engineers , speaking about practicality, you think its more practical to wait for parts to ship from U.S or China in case of urgent maintenance? And which will be cheaper? Nothing against the territory but your comment is misleading to those who are looking for a new unit to buy, ford has had its fair share of issues , dont believe me? Even Americans dont like Ford lol
Being a fan of Ford after driving an Everest since 2016 with no issues I wanted a smaller car for my wife. Was also torn between the FT and GCR but decided to go GCR for the extra tech. The only complain I have is that the brakes are not that confidence inspiring especially when your 100kmh plus!My Everest stops faster being almosr twice the weight! Anybody else having same feeling? I love the sports mode but with my driving style my average was 19l for 100km. I do max 12l 100km in the Ford Everest but again we didn't buy the Geely for the fuel efficiency but never the less i didn't expect that figure maybe 13/14l for 100km .
The braking feel that you get with the Geelys are really different. They're much similar to most European cars. I think it's really something that you'd have to get used to, but I doubt that it would, in reality, stop as slow as it feels like.
First, both cars are made in China. Second, geely Coolray is the most affordable of them. Third, For its engine, box transmition, perfomance driving, price, ...for me the best of them is GEELY COOLRAY

Based on experience, both serves me/us right :) Love the territory (it's a looker), but i feel like we use the okavango more often since we got it. Both are smooth ride, however there's a bit of malfunctions from the infotainment on our territory since day 1 (though nothing big), which i have never encountered with the okavango urban plus. This should be a comparo between geely azkarra and ford territory. I knew the azkarra is more expensive but they are on same category. I wont mind paying more seeing my passenger comfortable and not puking.
Given the chance to try both again, I'll make a comparo :D
Azkarra for me if the luxury variant :)
Azkarra vs territory coming soon i hope
Probably not soon haha! Let’s see
Azkarra Luxury is the only trim available now btw hehe
Did I just saw IU’s Strawberry Moon?
Well yes of course! My favourite
4:55 Tahoe!?
as always a very good comparo sir kyle.
Thanks
Just had to come back to this video to say a Territory tried to race me sa SCTEX. You know the ending ;)
Hahaha what did you bring?
@@KyleLiongCars GCR on a trip to Zambales!
Ah ok yeah now I know the ending hahaha
Helpful
Glad to help
Territory by far
Go for it
Sir first of all hands down to this wonderful review of yours. Really helps us in deciding which of the two. Cause its really a fine and thin line difference..
I just have a questions for the sunroof portion since both of them have. During summer time or a really high noon time. Plus we are a tropical country does the cabin would really feel the heat of the sun from the outside. I hope you can notice my simple concern. Thanks and more power!
You kinda feel it but it’s not like you’re baking in an oven naman as long as you close the cover
@@KyleLiongCars so sir if cocompare po sa cars without sunroof malaki po ba ung difference ng init factor niya?
Di naman
@@KyleLiongCars thanks Sir Kyle looking forward pa po ako sa mga reviews niyo bago mag decide if anong car ang the best sa range sa less 1.3M. Ung tipong masusulit po ang pag pundar.
Thanks and stay tuned pa po for future reviews
Hello kyle! Can u make a comparison video between the subaru xv and the geely coolray? 😀
If the chance permits, sure
Subaru 😍
The territory vs askara?
Azkarra is better but more expensive haha
THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME TAILAMPS AND TAILGATE.
Huhhh
Can you reveiw a 100 series land cruiser pls.
Hopefully soon. That's something I've missed on the LC lineup haha
Two of my choices last Oct but i went with T7Pro 😉
Still not a bad choice :)
Thanks for sharing this review idol. Done coloring your home. Shoutout! #MOVEONTV
Ferd chreicheri ay layk more Dan Geely Kurey
Comparison of ford territory and toyota raize turbo
No contest. Sure winner Territory but at a different price kasi
Honest review🥰❤ Thank you
My pleasure
So I watched this to know which one is better or which one the reviewer's is gonna get on a reviewer's perspective, but then he hits me with 9:54. For fuck's sake.
Can’t do anything about it. Heard my analogy?
@@KyleLiongCars I know and your analogy is actually really accurate and I liked it, its just that everything is always based on the buyer's preference, having a reviewer's verdict, knowing you've already tried driving both of the cars, would be nice.😅
@@KyleLiongCars Don't get me wrong. No hate. Video's actually nice. Its just that having a verdict would be nice.
@@neilborbon I get you man haha but even I myself am pretty hard pressed to pick one. On one hand, there are days I value comfort above all else. Some days, I would love a bit more zing to my drive haha
@@KyleLiongCars If that's the case, I guess having the tally of the scores on the criteria you mentioned might help.
I'll go with Ford Territory. :D
Go for it :)
@@KyleLiongCars I wish I can buy one of those. Lol but thanks for your response.
Maybe soon hehe
No way in hell I would ever consider a Chinese made car . They might be good for a year and then the horror show starts . Rust , engine ,transmission it all goes to bad .
Have a Chinese car from 2011, still runs perfectly well
@@KyleLiongCars look up the safety and reliability of any chinese made cars. Let's be honest you are getting a kickback from them . Besides my farm truck is better than anything you ever drove or looked at . Stop this smoke and mirrors reviews. There is no Chinese car from 2011 on the road that would pass any inspection and be road worthy . Just call you videos sponsored vs review
Aight lemme do a review soon on the 2011 car from a now defunct brand in the country
Ford Territory is also made in China
ANG YABANG!!! I bet you're also using a China-made phone and enjoying a China-made appliances, walking around with China-made clothes on! Tse!!
Witty outro :D
It's true tho haha
Ok bosses 😃😁
