Hman definitely gets more flak than he deserves but its tough because he knows a lot of stuff. League lore changes and is inconsistent in general and you learn stuff over years of slow build up unless your researching it yourself. its very easy to think something is true that used to be true that changed (annie lore changed a few times and ryze is changed yearly) the problem is hman speaks as if he did research it and has seen all the comics and lore and read all this and that. But he knows what the average league player knows WHICH IS FINE but when you speak as if you 100% know it means when you are wrong the community is going to jump at you

It's funny, Ruination Event WAS hyped up as hell. Then all we got was a visual novel. This dissapointed a good amount of people and some of us just try to forget it ever happened. (I'm especially mad that they teased Poppy in the trailer and she never even appeared)
@@isabellejoestar2455 Also Ruined King didn't came out after the Ruination event? If I remember correctly, Ruination was on July/August and Ruined King came out like in November?. Edit: Yeah, looked it and Ruination was July 8 to August 10. And Ruined King was released on November 16.
All I can guess is maybe they are going to do all the Legends of Runeterra cinematics separate from the League cinematics. I've been looking forward to the 2021 video specifically to see the Unbound reaction. :)
Long story short, when senna was a kid she found the queens soul and they’ve basically been connected ever since, and now Viego/TheRuinedKing is trying to get back all of her soul shards, also the only reason Gwen is a living doll, is because a shard of the queens soul is in Gwen
World is not always in California lol. 2020 was in shanghai, last year in Iceland. This year in North America for a change lol. But it's not every year in US, every year is a different country.
Other things to react to now that you are almost through the cinematics: Bridging the Rift which is a making of Arcane series. Very good. Also the League mixes from the League Community channel. Those are fun and catchy. Finally, since you enjoyed the Ruination saga from this year you missed the Story so Far and Chapter Recaps that fill in the connecting tissue between the cinematics. Looking forward to more reactions guys!
Don't forget that prior to that Arcane teaser video, we didn't know about the relationship between Vi and Jinx. Previously they had more of a Joker/Batman relationship, and it was only a fan theory that they were related. We also didn't know what Jinx's real name, so that teaser for Arcane was a huge reveal into the character's backstories. There's a reason that teaser has so many views!
Every time I think H-Man couldn't get better, he does(? Viego is the Ruined King of an ancient kingdom called Camavor that falled 1000 years ago (thanks to Viego obsession and 0 king shape) so, an assassin tried to kill him but failed thanks to his niece (and guard) Kalista, and instead injured Isolde, his wife, with a poison with no cure, so Kalista went out looking something that could heal her, and found the Blessed Isles, where the people told her that she needed to bring Isolde there and they would heal her, only if she was still alive. Now, Kalista didn't knew that Isolde was already dead when she returned, and Viego make her take them to the Blessed Isles anyway, and where the monks and people there refuse to revive Isolde (because of the unethical and so on of it) Viego killed them all, and revived Isolde anyway but she awake with rage and in a zombie state kinda, and stabbed Viego with his own sword (plot twist, Viego was toxic af, and Isolde wasn't always happy as he makes himself believe) and so, his sword clashing with the Waters of life that bring back Isolde, it genereted a circle of energy that exploded around and turned everything living in the area into undead (and revived Kalista, who tried to save the monks and then, the guards of Viego killed her stabbing her with their spears)
That would be the "prequel" xd Viego currently is vanished but not dead, he's just imprisoned in a spell (that other champion already said it is losing force and Viego will indeed return)
@@IoniaZero Viego is currently sealed in Camavor. There have been theories about if he would ever be released it would be for the MMO, nothing confirmed of course. Mostly just community speculation.
exactly! I was wondering about this too. That is literally a recap of the scope for the entire ruination storyline. Also they somehow skipped thresh unbound as well. Not sure why lol.
Ill give you a summary to what you saw in the ruination cinematics. When Viego's wife Isolde died, and he tried to ressurect her with holy waters of the blessed isles, she woke up corrupted and stabbed him in the heart with his own blade, causing that hole in this chest. This corrupted the isles and turned them into Shaddow Isles, and black mist started pouring from Viegos chest and he became the Ruined King. Isoldes soul split into many pieces, mostly into trinkets they used to have but 2 of them ended up inside Senna when she was a kid and inside Gwen, who is a doll made by Isolde before her death. The piece of her soul turned Gwen from a doll into a real person. The event was mostly shown through a visual novel in the games client. Many more sentinels were recruited than shown in this cinematic. Viego went around collecting the trinkets with Isolde's soul, while corrupting people to be his slaves (the half dragon girl, the greek warrior). Sentinels matched him and while they failed to stop him from getting the trinkets, they did recruit people too, including Akshan (the guy who shot Isolde). Akshan was already a sentinel from a diffirent continent, who possesses a gun called The Absolver. The Absolver has a special magic power. When you kill someone with the absolver, anyone recently killed by the one killed with the absolver are ressurected (its his in game ability too, by killing the killer he can revive teammates). After Viego finally ressurected Isolde from the trinkets (only 1 showed in the cinematic tho, the music box) and Senna and Gwen, Isolde gave consent for Akshan to shoot her. Also, Isolde technicly killed Senna and Gwen by taking her own soul back from them. So when Akshan killed Isolde with the Absolver, Senna and Gwen were ressurected. Then then sealed Viego in what used to be his kingdom before the Ruination.
28:35 not sure how it works, but that's how I got it: 28:22 gun that Akshan wields is an artifact, the Absolver, that reverses death of recent victims of a killed person.(!!! I will clarify it right now - though it's stated to reverse death of "recently died person", there's nowhere to be told what "recent" is. I persumed "recent" isn't formed by real time(nearly a millenium passed since Ruination), but the time of the person's life. Also there's nowhere to be stated how it works with Undead(who Viego and Isolde technichally are)) When Isolde was first time resurrected, her body was a rotting corpse, and in agony and confusion she stabbed Viego with his own Blade in the chest killing him. And so when Akshan kills Isolde once and forever with Absolver - I presume all the unleashed magic of the Blade of The Ruined King, of the Ruination itself is canceled as Viego once alive and now the only bearers of the Black Mist are ones who were most affected by it/became creatrues of Black Mist: Thresh, Senna, Gwen(Hallowed Mist), Kalista, Hecarim, Yorick, Karthus and Maokai. And as Senna is the nearest to Viego and has ability to capture souls - she is the one who consumes Black Mist. Also, yes, Black Mist isn't Viego's own power, but of the enchanted blade, the Sanctity, that was drastically amplified in the blessed water(maybe death/blood of Viego also played some role in it) turning it in the Blade of The Ruined King and granting Viego ability to control Black Mist and spread it over continents, reviving him in the process. Or I'm just searching for a deep meaning, when it's just Rito fkdp again, and the reason of all that is Viego was just "weakened" enough. Though he was weak both physically and psychologically several times fighting Senna during in-game event and she didn't consume his Black Mist. Or Black Mist is the whole own entity and has it's own mind. Who knows... I doubt even Riot lore team themselves do.
I am begging you to please watch one of Necrit's videos, he's a youtuber that's been recapping the lore from lol for years now. LCS is one the major league of legends leagues, based in North America. There is also LEC, which is an Europeian league, LPL which is the Chinese league, and finally LCK which is the South Korean league. These are the 4 major ones but there are more smaller ones around Worlds is a once a year held tournament where best teams from all leagues compete. It is the biggest league Esports event and just biggest Esports event ever. Worlds are hosted in a diffirent region every year, with 2022 being hosted in California, NA.
Playing the game and knowing champs' names doesn't mean you know actually the champs' lore. not even knowing the very best players is the fact you know nothin.... no offense dude xD
LCS is the north american championship. Almost every region has their own league. Worlds takes the top teams of each region and thats the World championship. It's taken place somewhere else every year like China, Korea, Europe or America.
Hman, if you like Poppy gameplay, I can suggest The Tactician, he's a Poppy onetrick in high elo, he has some insane plays you can watch x3. Also, Worlds started literally yesterday x3. Also, Worlds gets held every year at different locations, Hman is wrong as per usual xd.
You guys have to react to the story of Faker after you're finished with the cinematics. You'll get insight on how the game looks competitively as well as the history of the greatest player to ever touch this game
I love these reactions. But with this set of videos i noticed that some videos around the ruination were missing. notably the recaps of the story that were voiced by akshan.
Bro no stop please stop saying anything about the professional scene, like you may know the game some and the champs but the misinformation about the pro scene breaks my heart
While Hman said something about the lore that was actually true once or twice, i don't recall him saying anything that is actually correct about league's esport scene xD He seems like a cool dude but he is not the one you want to ask if you would like to learn anything about the lol xd
You did skip a bunch of shorter videos from different years and yea I feel like you could have really used someone with lore knowledge to explain stuff and no offense but your current "expert" really has very questionable lore knowledge and throws out wrong information left and right lol.
You guys missed 2 ruination videos where Akshan narrates the story in a funny way, I'm pretty sure you would've loved those cause they are funny and are informative about the ruination and what happened before they beat the Ruined King, and where the other guys that fight in the last one came from, so maybe you can do those later? love your reactions, I'm always waiting for the enxt one, too bad is almost over for League ones
The dumbest part about Viego's lore is that his uncle (Vladimir) is the greatest hemomancer (blood mage) the world has ever known and has extended his own life by thousands of years, yet when his wife fell ill her never thought to ask his uncle about it even though it is written in the lore that they would send letters to each other. Like Vlad literally brought Sion back from the dead, he could have easily cured Viego's wife had he asked.
Does Viego even know about Vladamir being alive, I don't think that after Vlad escape the darkin he contacted with anyone from his past live also how long Vladimir was in darkin prison?
@@toamszkozak8822 it's stated in his lore that they were exchanging letters yearly until the death of Viego's wife. In his grief he stopped writing back.
There are two Akshan videos missing which should have played before the end of Viego's story. It's a real shame because Akshan has a great personality.
there are almost no playlists that have all cinimatics. Every reactor that does all league videos is missing videos but sometimes different ones. Worlds is somewhere different every year and takes place in a different place every year. The LCS (League Championship Series) is the North American league that takes place before Worlds and is the decider for who from NA goes to Worlds. Worlds is the granddaddy giga big tournament every year, winning worlds is like winning the Super Bowl or World Series but if the Super Bowl had teams from all over the world meeting in one spot each year to crown the champion. In the 2021 Worlds song and in a few of the Worlds songs it's telling the story of whoever won Worlds the year prior. The 2021 "main character" is Showmaker from Damwon Kia who won worlds the year before, he's the guy who you guys thought was Faker. In a ton of the previous videos, Faker was the guy with glasses but not in the 2021 song. The lore behind the Worlds videos is as interesting as the lore of League of Legends and right now Worlds has just started. Play-ins are currently happening so right now is the best time to get in and see what it's all about!!!
That was not Faker. That's Showmaker in the Worlds' video. He also wears glasses and he won the previous season's Championship. Faker's team color is red and black, the T1. Showmaker's is blue and white like the jacket he is wearing in the video, the DWG KIA. Also, the Worlds are made in different cities every year i believe. This year is in the US, but they were made in Xangai and Paris and even in Iceland last year.
About the 2021 world cinematic 30:47 thats Showmaker (DWG) and Faker (Eternal king of the LCK on the wall) 30:52 thats Chovy midlaner for GenG 30:56 thats Rekkles (currently in Kcorp) but was in G2 during this cinematic 32:10 Thats Rekkles and Wunder, toplaner for Fnatic but was in G2 with Rekkles, fun fact Ornn's passiv(thats a toplane champion) can upgrade the stuff of your team, and we can see that Wunder is using a blacksmite at 32:08 (like Ornn) to upgrade Rekkles' galeforce BTW this championship isnt only in US, and LCS is the US league like LEC for EU or LCK for South Korea Thats all for this cinematic i think
Ok so for info worlds is moved every year Worlds is the league of legends world championship were winners of retinal championships fight to be the best in the world. Regionals championships : LEC(league of legends European championship) Lpl (Chinese championship) Lck(Korean championship were faker plays) Lsl(American championship ) Loco(oceania championship) The wing teams of each go to worlds number is different for each championship

Hman over here griefing his team with wrong info.
Worlds is the bigger tournament and it does moves around. So yeah, Hman is wrong about everything. Good mascot for this reaction series though, he's fluffy and has a beanie.
Bruh finally someone agrees I said this last reaction thought I was the only one 😂
But he knows what the average league player knows WHICH IS FINE but when you speak as if you 100% know it means when you are wrong the community is going to jump at you
@@Zalied were not getting on him because we expect him to know everything that would be crazy. I'm just saying he acted like he know and when they make a right guess and he's like I don't think so and some of the info is pretty easy to know
I also think league lore in terms of the cinematic has been pretty consistent only time it's ever changed has been for character reworks other than that there haven't been major changes story wise
@@dexdoestings the cinematic have become very consistent but the written lore is not consistent with new lore. And new lore is and was being made before old lore was changed so it had many inconsistencies. If u read a characters lore from one source then watched a video it may not match both on official pages.
It's funny, Ruination Event WAS hyped up as hell. Then all we got was a visual novel. This dissapointed a good amount of people and some of us just try to forget it ever happened.
(I'm especially mad that they teased Poppy in the trailer and she never even appeared)
We got a whole ass RPG what do you mean lol
@@UndeadPandaLegion Ruined King game is one thing.
RUINATION EVENT IS ANOTHER.
@@demosteneswiggin5122 i believe ruined king was supposed to go with the ruination but due to covid, there was a delay.
The Ruination event will forever be a marker as the downfall of League events for me :(
Trying to figure out 1. Why they skilled Thresh Unbound (at 30:35), and 2. If they have their reaction to it elsewhere.
Worlds locations does in fact shift around all over the place, Last year was in iceland
Why did you skip the Unbound Thresh cinematic? That was made for Wild Rift and not a music video.
dude why did you skip "Unbound Thresh" one? It's so good.
All I can guess is maybe they are going to do all the Legends of Runeterra cinematics separate from the League cinematics. I've been looking forward to the 2021 video specifically to see the Unbound reaction. :)
@@jRoy7 But they've watched a couple videos from Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra and TFT in this video. So I don't understand why they skipped it.
You skipped the Thresh cinematic, i get that you skip Runeterra stuff, but the Thresh one is Wild Rift. Big sad.
the maker of gwen is isolde who was the ruined kings wife and yes that guy in the cinematic was viego the ruined king
Y'all missed the Thresh Unbound cinematic for wildrift which is connected to the ruination storyline.
That would be the "prequel" xd
Viego currently is vanished but not dead, he's just imprisoned in a spell (that other champion already said it is losing force and Viego will indeed return)
@@IoniaZero Viego is currently sealed in Camavor. There have been theories about if he would ever be released it would be for the MMO, nothing confirmed of course. Mostly just community speculation.
How can you guys missed "Story So Far" ? It's a very important part of the Sentinels story.
exactly! I was wondering about this too. That is literally a recap of the scope for the entire ruination storyline. Also they somehow skipped thresh unbound as well. Not sure why lol.
So important nobody ever heard of it
"Thats a crazy sword"
Sennas gun: "Am i a joke to you?" :D
Beanie guy spreads so much misinformation it's nuts, every video it's at least 2 things. And he keeps sticking to it..
28:35 not sure how it works, but that's how I got it:
28:22 gun that Akshan wields is an artifact, the Absolver, that reverses death of recent victims of a killed person.(!!!
You don't have to watch them all, a few ones explain pretty much everything: There's the timeline of league of legends and the latest videos he got out talking about riot's future mmo based on lol's universe. You should check those ones out even if you aren't into mmos bc they are quite good at sumarizing everything the lore has
I couldn't dream about anything better than this in today's sorrowful day :D
where can i find the full video? on yt are too many skipped

Still a wildly entertaining reaction by the way. Keep up the good work.
Worlds happens all across the globe and not in California only. If I remember correctly they even had one in Dubai where they showed the trailer for Arcane on the burjh khalifa
10:15 Yes its Viego the ruined king, yes he is initially holding his wife, no the doll is not his wife the doll just came to life once the wife passed on by taking a piece of her soul. The Doll becomes a humanoid named Gwen. : )
Thanks for another fun reaction video. :)
this vid just made me realize how shit 2021 was with cinematics and the horrible Sentinels of Light event. Thank god arcane got released.
Sentinel of lights cinematics were and still are good no matter what
Cinematic is fine. The reason why sentinels of light and ruination event were bad because they were written by the skins team.
@@toamszkozak8822 its pretty and I won't disparage the animators for what they did nor do i think thats how they wanted to do it. Probably some higher ups decision unattached to the sentiment of the story that ruined it. Theyre good videos just not much substance or importance and failed on what they were trying to do as a story event.
Im so happy for pengu the penguin , its my favorit animal and he so cute
31:07 Think that is Showmaker, midlaner of Damwon Gaming
Thanks for letting us know!
Hman trying to skip stuff and confidently give them misleading information like bro 😅
I was hungry of this kind of content i am saved
10:25 bruh, thats really ruined king and his wife '-'
You skilled so many good lore videos about ruination and all the characters. Remove this goober from controlling the videos
Was a little confused on A Night At The Inn, did you include it in a different reaction video already by mistake (since it was 2021)? One of my favs, was looking forward to your reaction. :)
Or are you going to do all the Legends of Runeterra & Wild Rift cinematics in a separate video perhaps? Lots of good ones.
LCS is one the major league of legends leagues, based in North America. There is also LEC, which is an Europeian league, LPL which is the Chinese league, and finally LCK which is the South Korean league. These are the 4 major ones but there are more smaller ones around
Worlds is a once a year held tournament where best teams from all leagues compete.
You should leave WilD Rift Videos to last and react to them together!
Seriously tho the Bonnet guy needs to stop answering questions because by far he does not said anything right. Lmao
You guys have to react to the story of Faker after you're finished with the cinematics. You'll get insight on how the game looks competitively as well as the history of the greatest player to ever touch this game
where's the reaction to unbound thresh???
while you wait to make the 2022 video, you guys should react to Necrit's lore videos and his videos about the riot mmo
I love these reactions. But with this set of videos i noticed that some videos around the ruination were missing. notably the recaps of the story that were voiced by akshan.
Riot games never copyright strikes anything. It is just perfect for reactors. Basically free advertisement for them :D
you can actually collect the little legends like in a gatcha with loot boxes, therefor good luck and have fun XD
My God Hman resident league expert? He must be a Riot employee with those answers.
Bro no stop please stop saying anything about the professional scene, like you may know the game some and the champs but the misinformation about the pro scene breaks my heart
Y'all skipped a normal league cinematic at 30:34 that was part of the sentinel stuff
10:26 yes gwen is the creation of islode (viego's wife). I not entirely sure of this...pls correct me if im wrong
My main said I think it's always in California with so much conviction. Who is gonna say it to him?

they are totally worth watching, especially the ones after 2017
Wait did they watch the tales of runeterra videos
That's going to be its own video

While Hman said something about the lore that was actually true once or twice, i don't recall him saying anything that is actually correct about league's esport scene xD
He seems like a cool dude but he is not the one you want to ask if you would like to learn anything about the lol xd
Just at the beginning that is a brick with a handle. That relic stone shoots light but you have to will it to trigger with everything you have.
You did skip a bunch of shorter videos from different years and yea I feel like you could have really used someone with lore knowledge to explain stuff and no offense but your current "expert" really has very questionable lore knowledge and throws out wrong information left and right lol.
Some videos we skipped will be in later videos.
Why skip Unbound Thresh.??? I thought you guys only skip MVs and legend of runeterra cinematics??
Older ones or newer ones or random in the middle. some playlists have almsot all of runterra but not all randomly.
idk how its so hard to find for reactors but they all are using different but equally imcomplete playlists.
he doesnt now anything xd but he state it with security xD
That woman with the crossbow is fighting evil because her parents were killed (I think by the black rose). She is basically Batman.
well that's straight disrespectful to batman. It's more apt to say she's a pissier Huntress. And even that disrespects Huntress. Vayne sucks. Literally killed her mentor because she found out they were a demon. Wanted to kill shyvanna in the trailer because she is half dragon and she is basically racist.
U can check the wild rift champions and skins animations next. Since wild rift have all new models u can see so many cool details in every skin
A MARBLE brick with a handle to be specific
That was not Faker. That's Showmaker in the Worlds' video. He also wears glasses and he won the previous season's Championship. Faker's team color is red and black, the T1. Showmaker's is blue and white like the jacket he is wearing in the video, the DWG KIA. Also, the Worlds are made in different cities every year i believe. This year is in the US, but they were made in Xangai and Paris and even in Iceland last year.
Thanks for letting us know!
Worlds moves around and will be in North America for this first time since 2016 this year
is it me or they actually havent watched "The Call" yet
Viego did what every man says they would but don't mean, he put her first before the world, and he lost everything for it, he deserved better.
Hman replaced the word "I don't know" by "No" in this reaction
I have no idea but maybe after ur done with league cinematics watch all wow related cinematics
The non league players: "Is that the ruined king?"
The Gwen "fan" being wrong: "no"
Faker IS in so many of them but this perticular guy with glasses ISNT him - It's also talented South Korean player going by the name of Showmaker

About the 2021 world cinematic
30:47 thats Showmaker (DWG) and Faker (Eternal king of the LCK on the wall)
30:52 thats Chovy midlaner for GenG
30:56 thats Rekkles (currently in Kcorp) but was in G2 during this cinematic
32:10 Thats Rekkles and Wunder, toplaner for Fnatic but was in G2 with Rekkles, fun fact Ornn's passiv(thats a toplane champion) can upgrade the stuff of your team, and we can see that Wunder is using a blacksmite at 32:08 (like Ornn) to upgrade Rekkles' galeforce
BTW this championship isnt only in US, and LCS is the US league like LEC for EU or LCK for South Korea
Thats all for this cinematic i think
