    The Grizzly is a total beast. I rode it during one of the group rides. I personally liked the X52V more cause of the lower bars and that old school cafe racer look. But the Grizzly is still a top dog among most if not all e-bikes.

    • @KoshieTCG

      So its only 30-40 range on throttle on? Even tho its advertised as 40-50 miles per battery?

    • @Maber01
      @Maber01 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KoshieTCG The range is dependent upon the rider and the hills you go up.
      I weight 235 lbs.
      I regularly ride about 30 miles with about 25% battery left.
      You don't want to ride it till it dies, that is bad for the battery.
      That being said, Shreddie MacSkate has a video where he rode full speed, throttle only and it died at 40 miles.

    Hey Mike great video! 👍 n sub'd.
    Saw this video twice, before and after receiving and test ride my ARG. I can attest your 5 pros for buying a Grizzly is valid. This marvel of engineering is best appreciated if you had ridden other ebikes before. I had to learn how to ride this beast because of the power. I had layed the bike down several times in the first week. No damage to me or the bike except for a busted end of handle bar turn signal. My riding strategy is to either start off with power to the back wheel only then once I get rolling I'll kick on the front wheel for a power boost to keep up with traffic or climbing up an incline.
    Just did a range test today. Got 40 miles exactly with 45V remaining to not damage the batteries. Had several long stretches of road I had to use both wheel to keep up with traffic. But generally cruised with just the back wheel on. Climb several large grassy hills to practice balance and traction control. I'd leaned over the front wheel to increase weight for better traction when climbing.
    Hope to see more videos of you and Rusty.

      Hey Robert congrats on the new Grizzly!!

      I can straddle it while stopped but that is on tip toes. So I just lean on one leg instead. If you're used to riding bikes then you're probably used to that so you'll be fine 🤘🏽

      Yeah I found one that has two batteries and motors. The frame is different. But I paid $1200 for the bike. And didn’t want to wait 30+days for it to come by boat. So I paid $1200 for express shipping by plane to get it in a week. It will be here in about 4 days. And the total is still cheaper than the Grizzly.

    Hey Mike, I haven't chatted with you in some time now. I was sold on your 52 V X Class, for essentially, all the reasons you talked about with the Grizzly. I think the X is enough for my needs, but was wondering - did your 52V X let you down in any way? Thanks, and "Hi" to Rusty!

    I want a grizzly so bad . I’ve been looking at Ariel riders D class I’m only looking for 1.7 max so I’m between D class and Juiced scrambler

    • @Maber01
      @Maber01 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a Grizzly and a Juiced HyperScorpion.
      The HyperScoprion has 2,900 trouble-free miles in over 2 years of ownership.
      I've had my Grizzly for 4 months, and after 3 months I got an Error Code 30H.
      I spend about a month exchanging emails and sending AR pictures and no diagnosis of my problem.
      Luckily, I live in San Diego, and there is an Ariel Rider dealer in Oceanside. I dropped the bike off yesterday.
      The tires on my Grizzly needed replacement in the 1st month, due to a rear tire skid that wore the tire down to the pink underliner. The HyperScorpion tires lasted 2,300 miles till the rear tire was down to the pink. Had I rotated them I could have gotten more mileage. I installed the E-Huntsman tires, and they went on easier than road bike tires.
      The headlight on the Grizzly is a joke for a bike that goes 35 mph. I replaced it with a Wicked Thumb headlight, which AR says voids my warranty. So, when Oside Ebikes figures out what is wrong with my bike, I will be paying for the parts and labor.
      The headlight on the Juiced H.S. is awesome. Here are my thoughts on the light. I don't think about the light because it works so well. In contrast, going 35 mph on the Grizzly at night, the light is all you will be thinking about. It is that bad.
      My Juiced bike has alloy mag wheels, and the Grizzly has spoked wheels that crack and creak.
      Both Juiced and Ariel Rider get a grade F in their BBB rating.
      If at all possible, I would try to buy a bike from a dealer that can also service your bike.
      If there was not an Ariel Rider dealer in my city (San Diego), I would be shit out of luck dealing with AR customer service email runaround.
      If I could do it all over again, I would buy the Juiced HyperScopion I paid $2,400 in Feb, of 2020 pre-order, but I would not buy the $3,500 Grizzly.
      For about the same money as the Grizzly, I would buy a Piaggio Liberty 150 scooter. The scooter goes 60 mph, gets over 100 miles per tank, and has a 2-year warranty with dealers to service the bike. What the fuck was I thinking when I bought the Grizzly?

    • @The2econdcoming
      @The2econdcoming 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for this reply I’m actually swing back toward juiced now just because of the looks plus performance. Only problem I’m concerned about the juiced is people complain about removing and reinstalling the battery . I don’t want to have to strap the battery down @@Maber01

    #1 value :$3200
    You could get a sur ron for $3600. They go 50mph. Highly accessible.
    #2: save you money : e er ebike will save you money depending on your very specific situation this could be true or false.
    #3 power : this is true that it is powerful, but the sur rons have 5k watt of power. There are other much more powerful ebikes for that price or a little more.
    #4: range 35ah
    I agree that this ah is rare, but no one would buy it if it had less. Normal for the watt usage, normal for the price of the grizzly. Sur rons go 80 miles. Some other slower bikes have just as much range, just not as fast as the grizzly.

    • @fackeyutub-emael6545
      @fackeyutub-emael6545 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Reason #5 again is BS because this is way too specific to the individual and other ebikes do this same thing.
      We are trying to get a reason to get this specific ebike. Not just AN EBIKE.

    • @carriebartkowiak
      @carriebartkowiak 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      An e-bike is a bicycle with an optional electric motor. You can pedal it.
      The Sur Ron isn't an e-bike. It's an electric motorcycle.
      It's not permitted on public bike trails.
      You have to be licensed and insured to ride it.
      You must register it with your state, get a license plate, and pay yearly taxes on it.
      I don't see the point in watching an E-BIKE video and then attempting to act all snotty and superior to the content creator because they didn't choose a MOTORCYCLE.
