I have whiskey throttled too many times. Also. perhaps do you have plans for 3d printing another "cover" for the rear motor all left, both center and front only all right button. I'll prol go with tad taller bmx type bars. ...anyway I do like how you "blacked out" sections of the bike (specially the battery)...appears you have a rather steady hand wrapping the bike & plan to do (about) the same. you reckon a 2x20 roll will allow me to wrap the tube(s) properly? incidently, I found this on AMZ & reckon it's similar, yet less expensive wrap: Spurtar Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap. Thanks again!
I actually just parted it to sell and moved the 3080 into my dedicated mining rig. I still have two other ones with the bitspower liquid cooling in front. Nice cases but large. I still got my All Aluminum Lian Li from 1999.

I’m pretty sure the batteries run in parallel cause if I only use rear motor on my ride both batteries will need to be charged still and they seem to take about the same time to charge. The rear is 20ah and front is 15ah.
What did you do with the extra control cable length and other assorted gear when you replaced the bars? Isn't there a lot of excess cable with the lower bars? The bike looks great!
I live on Long Island, NY and want to ride my Grizzly in NYC next summer. Are you pretty sure that our dual 1000 watt motors are legal in the whole state?
Up to class 2 in suburbs and 3 in city but with some technical limitations the Grizzly didn’t incorporate. But from what I’ve seen and heard they ain’t gonna bother you on a Grizzly unless you running lights and being stupid.
The seat looks nice! I have been contemplating if I should buy a larger seat (I have the Ariel Rider X Class.), but I don't know if it will be useful other than providing space for another rider.
It’s slightly stiffer than stock. It is nice to be able to sit back further sometimes too. I do want to look for softer springs or suspension next since I’m a lighter rider.
Could you please let me get information about stem...? I read your description that you left information for each stuff. I was not able to find out the name of stem that you used in your bike with Mixsuper handlebar.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching I really appreciate you to let me get information indeed. Actually, I don't have Ariel Grizzly right now. Therefore, I don't know precise information about the bike. I just ordered it before couple of days. It will take almost 1 month up to Korea. I just would like to ready to play with Ariel after changing handlebar :) You meant the original stuck stem is compatiable with handlebar that you bought 31.8 diameter. I will buy the same handlebar as you.
Bike looks amazing well done video and 3dmods. I'm getting one but my question is how's the customer service? And have you had any issues since this vid.... I've heard a lot of complaints about quality control and wiring issues. Just asking before I drop 3500 on something. Thanks!
Personally I haven’t had any issues with mine but I have read on the Facebook group and know a person who had error code but got new replacement controller on his v2 in like a week. The v3 don’t have motor connectors and a few other things changed to supposedly make it more reliable. I also don’t weigh as much as other riders so maybe I’m not pulling as many amps. Also new v3 comes with one charger for both batteries where v2 it was two chargers and different Connectors. So could be pro or con depending on how you use it.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching What size nut and bolt goes through the bottom of the top tube stabilizer? Basically anything that fits snuggly through those holes?
Shoot I received the order but didn’t see the nut and bolt. Maybe I didn’t see them in the packaging. No biggie either way. I will go out and buy them. Thank you.
I have the Polar Bear light now. It’s much brighter than v2 stock and has low and high or halo only. Also it doesn’t blind drivers cause it’s a focused beam.
They def are heavier so rotational weight is added but they are a slightly larger diameter so once you reach top end they are maybe slightly faster. I like them cause when I’m in dual motor the heavier tire prevents the front from spinning out of control. Also the speeds I’m going the knobbies are fine on the road and they aren’t that noisy at all. When I go Offroad I have the confidence it will hook up.
@@teamwinning4995 I’ll get one up in the shop asap. Yeah I kept hitting mine accidentally and it would disable the throttle got annoying. Ever since I put this on. Haven’t had that issue.
The aftermarket OC cafe racer seat is stiffer but longer. The stock seat was short but softer. There’s other companies that make seats that are softer. JB seats is another maker. I rode bmx bikes with plastic hard seats growing up so this is fine for me lol
It’s a good bike if you plan on keeping the stock power system. Has a good balance of range and power/torque to go up hills and keep up with local traffic if the speed limit is below 35. Also can pedal it and shift it to lower gears if you need more climbing power for steep terrain.
Be careful when modifying your Grizzly. I have an error code 30H and have been exchanging emails with AR for about a month, and the only thing they have figured out is that the Wicked Thumb headlight I installed has voided my warranty. So, I spend $3,500 on a bike I used for 3 months, and we still don't know what is wrong with my bike, and I will be paying for the parts. I will never buy another e-bike online. I wish I had bought a bike from a store that can fix it when it breaks down.
Yeah I haven’t done anything with the wiring it’s all just wrapping and bolt ons. My general rule of thumb for cars and stuff like this is don’t mod engine or wiring until warranty is up. I hope you get your situation resolved. Thanks for letting me know.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching I was considering putting a new seat on mine after the first 200 miles and I had been emailing one of the techs at AR at the same time and mentioned it to him. He said some people have cooked their controllers from seats that don't allow enough airflow to them, so changing the seat will void the warranty unless you use THEIR seat. Having already had a warranty battery repair done, I'm hesitant to void the warranty purposely till it's past. How long have you had your Grizzly now? How many miles do you have on it?
Seems like a decent bike. But I’ve seen many comments/reviews that say this companies customer service is horrendous. That scares me as a potential purchaser.
I haven’t had any issues and I hope I don’t but the newer v2s seem to be more reliable. I’m sure the shortage of parts doesn’t help right now. RadPowerbikes has great customer service but they also have a shortage of parts.
Bikes can be made with a single or dual rear shock, it's up to the designer. That being said this bike can carry an extra passenger and with only one shock it would bottom out easily.
However I wouldn’t use it for fishing. It’s got small fenders and sand will fly up everywhere and I prefer the rad rover 6 due to the larger tires and carrying capacity.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching I removed my front fender on my grizzly because it keeps hitting the tire. Let me know when you find any custom fenders that work with the grizzly that wont bottom out. Thx
@@LesFishingMoreCatching Hi I'm curious about that, the dual motor seems to be the key to riding on soft sand - are you sure the single motor rad rover 6 will work better in soft deep sand? I'm an ocean lifeguard and need something to get through the flats.. thanks
I used the DJI osmo wireless clip on mic. There’s no wind. Background noise and everything i clear and I check the audio output levels as not to peak. Turn your volume up or lmk if you need help looking for something to increase your audio volume.
After riding around on my Rad Rover locally, I wanted something that could handle the hills better and keep up with local traffic better.

I include the nuts and locknut but I made it to use m5 12mm and fit the lock nut.
Shoot I received the order but didn’t see the nut and bolt. Maybe I didn’t see them in the packaging. No biggie either way. I will go out and buy them. Thank you.
Where can I upgrade seat cause the one that comes with it sucks I love the one yours an how do you install it ,
Occaferacer.com
Very nice after the mods
Thanks. Stayed tuned for Part 2. Dropping soon!
@@LesFishingMoreCatching You got it! I subscribed. I have a Huck Stinger 3000. I love all ebikes.
Have you thought about possibly making saddle bag mounts?
The rear rack can hold saddle bags that I added.
👊😎👊
What light you use and is it bright.
I do food delivery on this bike in La 91744 on grizzly yellow v3, is a beast and hella quick acceleration.
I have the Polar Bear light now. It’s much brighter than v2 stock and has low and high or halo only. Also it doesn’t blind drivers cause it’s a focused beam.
Check Part 2 video I think the link is there.
everybody uses the super 73 tires but heard they slow you down don't know for sure.
Link for 203mm Disc & adapter 🙏🏾
Shimano MA-F 203mm Post to IS Front - amzn.to/3vueQUW
is it the same adapter for the back breaks?
No
Would this ebike or any of the others you've tried work in soft sand? E.g. the walk from we2 parking lot to the beach.
Yes but the larger the tire I have 26” the better. You would have to air down to like 10 psi and the lighter you are the better.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching Thanks. Something for me to consider.
GRITTY SAND CREATS MOVING PARTS DEMISE...WASTED ENERGY
Tell that to the dune buggies and desert riders. Lol
Hey Les just curious on where you got your wrap?
Amazon just cut squares and wrapped around.
How many square feet of wrap did you need
I'm not sure if I should buy one as I get severe back pain lower back every once in a while, I'm 65 hate to buy it, and then want to sell it.
Sorry to hear about your back pain. Maybe you should use the money to figure or help your back pain first before you get a bike and ride.
Do you have the adapter to the throttle shut-off? I always find myself accidentally pressing the shut-off button
Are you asking if I sell the 3D printed throttle button cover?
Yes
I purchased the tube bag stabilizer from you on Etsy
@@teamwinning4995 I’ll get one up in the shop asap. Yeah I kept hitting mine accidentally and it would disable the throttle got annoying. Ever since I put this on. Haven’t had that issue.
Ok, good! I’ll be looking out for it.
What about the headlight? Where did you get it from?
That’s in the part two video.
Got it off eBay. Links in description.
Can you tell me how comfortable the seat is as I herd the stock one is terrible.
The aftermarket OC cafe racer seat is stiffer but longer. The stock seat was short but softer. There’s other companies that make seats that are softer. JB seats is another maker. I rode bmx bikes with plastic hard seats growing up so this is fine for me lol
@@LesFishingMoreCatching Thank you for the information, I’m getting ready
To pull the trigger on the Grizzly.
It’s a good bike if you plan on keeping the stock power system. Has a good balance of range and power/torque to go up hills and keep up with local traffic if the speed limit is below 35. Also can pedal it and shift it to lower gears if you need more climbing power for steep terrain.
Do the batteries have usb ports?
No but the display does but only charges when the bike is powered on.
My Rad Rover 6 Plus has add on USB ports and they stay powered on all the time.
Won't ship to Canada , Bummer !!
That is.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching You voided your warranty the moment you changed the seat.
Well good thing I didn’t need it. My bikes out of warranty now.
I bet someone at ariel rider is miffed that you covered all of their logos. 🤣
I made up for it by advertising their bike on my channel. 😝
Why does it have dual suspension on the rear? Looks? If anyone knows please let me know
Bikes can be made with a single or dual rear shock, it's up to the designer.
That being said this bike can carry an extra passenger and with only one shock it would bottom out easily.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching oh understood thanks 🙏
what part of NYS? ✌

Bit confused ... is this a grizzly v2 .. is there 2 grizzly bikes?
Yes this is a Grizzly v2 that I modified. The v1 was sold up till mid 2021 then 2022 the v2 are all they sell now. Few changes.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching - Now they are on a V3
Yes the v3 has a few revisions to it and includes only one charger for both batteries now.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching(might be a stupid question), is that good or bad?
Just caught my pb bass at 30 pounds all thanks to my big catebike....
That’s awesome. Congrats!
I am 5’6 Do you think my feet could touch the ground?
Yes but if you upgrade the tires to larger ones and get a stiffer seat you might find yourself on your tip toes.
does that ride on sand?
Yes and very fast.
Thx
I printed a spacer that corrects that. Buy one off my website and lmk how it works out.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching Hi I'm curious about that, the dual motor seems to be the key to riding on soft sand - are you sure the single motor rad rover 6 will work better in soft deep sand? I'm an ocean lifeguard and need something to get through the flats.. thanks
I live in Algeria, is there delivery here?
Are you asking if Ariel Rider ships bike there or if I ship my parts there?
Ariel Rider sometimes act funny specially when something goes bad with their 3.400 bike I wonder why. 🤔
very low audio
I used the DJI osmo wireless clip on mic. There’s no wind. Background noise and everything i clear and I check the audio output levels as not to peak.
Turn your volume up or lmk if you need help looking for something to increase your audio volume.
Can you please give me a link of the bike stem for the handle bars you have. Thank you so much
I didn’t change the stem and used the stock one.
@@LesFishingMoreCatching thank you so much. Your bike looks amazing you did a great job
