Hello! Donovan here, I was the last trainer in the video. Thanks for having me as part of this video and collab. Nicolas was super fun and amazing to work with. I wish we could do a little more but we were rushing quite a bit due to the timezone differences, and the internet quality ended up being pretty disruptive because it was a basement gym. Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun making the video, and pushing Nicolas on this leg day (his first leg day in months? 😂). Om I can’t with how the are years going by so fast as I see people everyday get older I am so surprised that you are 18 already I view people like you as a holy grail idol image as a person in general, still in high school it’s honestly difficult as we are still trying to find our own passions and even puberty. I thank you for posting videos as often your videos are always inspiring and engaging to watch❤❤

Gym does not stop your height if you do it carefully just don't go super intense or workout with bad form. And your height is determined by your genetics you can check your future height from you parents current height
@@slayerplayer1102 How do you know that for sure? Just because there weren't any studies done on it, doesn't mean it's conclusive that it doesn't stunt height. Height isn't necessarily determined by parents height; it is more complicated than that, especially if your parents didn't grow up with proper nutrition or in a very stressful environment. Lifting weights before puberty can lead to you causing puberty to happen sooner as a stress mechanism to grow bigger and more muscular and increasing testosterone, leading to reduced adult height.
@@monkeyy_52 No it doesn't. Or do you also believe that playing basketball in your puberty makes you taller? Bc a lot of basketball players end up really tall .... :)
@@renevanleeuwen1813Basketball doesn’t spike your cortisol or other anabolic hormones like lifting weights does. Also, basketball involves a lot of jumping, leading to micro fractures in the shins and ankles especially when you’re growing, leading to enhanced vertical bone growth.
@@renevanleeuwen1813 I lifted weights since I was 13, and I’m 5 ft 11 at 16 now. I think it only stunts your growth if you start it when you’re below the age of 12-13 and you’re lifting to failure lifting heavy which produces the hormonal effect, leading to earlier puberty.
