Mount Batur Sunrise Hike - Climbing a VOLCANO in BALI

- In today's Bali vlog, we hike one of Indonesia's largest active volcanoes, Mount Batur to watch a perfect sunrise in Bali. We met our guide at the base of the volcano at 3.30am and took around 2 hours to hike to the top where we saw one of the most stunning views as well as a few cheeky monkeys.
We followed up the hike by swimming in the Batur natural hot springs where we ate breakfast and recovered from the hike. Follow us as we show you one of the most unique experiences in Bali.

Hi! Did you go through a particular platform to arrange for this? how much did it cost in total?
I went to Bali for one week in February and wanted to do this but there were other things I wanted to do and the tour guide for my trip to Lempuyang told me it would probably be cloudy and I wouldn't see the sunrise over Mount Agung so I didn't do it. But if I go back there in the spring or summer I'll do it.
Mangku was our guide too on our recent trip, amazing guy!

You have 2 ways up. Either the easy road (even possible by motor bike) or the harder route which is a bit more steep and more challenging. I thought the second one was a lot more fun but if you’re not fit (like sick, old, slightly disabled) you should take the easy road. But if you are ‘okay fit’ the difficult one is nice and challenging

Where were the hot springs after your hike
Just done this last week, was amazing, got there late and had to take a short cut path and it was so steep of a climb but worth it for the views from the top

I wonder why nowhone is showing the hiking trail, 300 or more people standing in line to climb the steep path which is partly slippery especially on the way down, two girls got slightly injured....but on Instagram everything is great...make sure you wear trekking shoes...!!!
