That pub grub looked good! It must be so hard being away from family at this time of year. Some ideas to lift your spirits: lots of facetime calls home, find your nearest Xmas lights trail and go for a drive once the lights go down, go for a walk around some large department stores and see the the beautiful decorations, watch some Xmas movies, play some festive music. As you get older you realise it's up to you to create the Christmas "magic".
it was exactly what I needed!! Thank you so much for the ideas - I had a long FaceTime with my sister this morning and watched Love Actually after 😀 I need to find our nearest light trail - great shout
There are many pubs in Melbourne which date back to the 19th century. Which makes them English pubs because Australia was a colony with an overwhelmingly British population.
yep those sunday roasts are up there with fish and chips, pies and sausage rolls, all imported from the other side of the planet....just like most of the locals😀
Authentic pub, authentic rain 😅, although having said that, I was in London and Oxford last week (quick family visit) and while it rained, the showers were short lived and soft.
Mish diving into those puddings is just simply me every single day of my life
hahahah gotta be done

Tried to go for lunch at that pub in July, but it was shut for a few hours 😞
