Thanks guys. Blackpool is about 30mins from us and your over night stop is my local get away when I'm short on time. If you like to ride your bikes there is a costal path and you can walk ride skate or cartwheel whatever you want. It a nice path from the car park in Fleetwood to Blackpool.

Small world. My second Great Uncle was ferry master/pub owner of where the bridge now goes the river Swale. My third Great Uncle was Mayor of Queenborough on the Isle of Sheppey between 1986 and 1897 and lived at the manor house in Sheerness (buried in Iwade church yard). I live in Cleveleys which is between Fleetwood (where i spent my holidays as a youngster in the late 50s and early 60s) which you won't know but one of the tram stops you passed through to Blackpool. Where you parked up in Fleetwood is a carpark I park in regularly when going for a bacon/sausage barm from Dave's cafe. Keep up with the very entertaining channel output.

I'm a Lancashire lass and can honestly say that I don't visit Blackpool very often 🤣........though glad you enjoyed yourselves. The walk across Morecambe Bay with the official guides (tend to during the summer months only) is a great experience if ever you're up in the NW area again. The Queen's official guide died last year and he had walked 500,000 + people across the bay. There are treacherous quick sands in the bay, so hence the reason why it's essential that people walk across the bay with the guides. Lots of great scenic locations in Lancashire. By the way, I very rarely use cash here in Lancashire and pay for the majority of things with a card 🤣
My kids 7 & 12 were born and raised in France. They didn't know anything about Blackpool; didn't know the tower, or what a pier was. Went this April and it was an amazing day. Starting at North pier, i.e. the least interesting for kids, the kids said that Blackpool was the best place in the world for children. Then watching their eyes open wider and wider as we walked South. Bouncy castle, amusements, drop the penny, horse racing, the horse drawn princess coaches. Just an amazing day. The destination raised some eyebrows with family and friends, but will live long in the memory. Kids still dream about it and want to live England now. P.S. I knew they'd love it.

Blackpool is the best, one of my fave child hood memory, it’s about an hour away from where we live which we also get to take the horses too, to ride on the beach, so loved this vid 🥰
Wheeeyyy. Get yourself to the next town along. Lytham st.Annes is my home town where I live in my van. Definitely has a nicer beach than Blackpool. There’s actually a few people living in vans here. I grew up here but it’s impossible to get a house at a reasonable price these days. So many people moving here. It’s a shame for people like myself who don’t have much money but it is a lovely place. Drive past the dunes out of Blackpool, towards st.Annes, take your first right onto st.Annes prom and you’ll find a nice beach that’s quiet at night. Dog friendly sand dunes too. Might be hard to park before 6 but totally quiet at night. Enjoy guys 😁

Aw my Dad was from Blackpool and it gets a bit of a bad rep, but had some good times at the Pleasure Beach and Rock Shop as a kid. Absolutely hated the lift up the tower and that was before the glass floor!! Thanks for the memories girls ❤
I really like blackpool I spent around 3 weeks there in my van in the winter it has a atmosphere that grows on you now I've seen this video is may go again in September

I think working on the Pleasure Beach was the best job I could have had in 1975. Wild times indeed. Somebody poured some detergent in the water on the River caves and the foam was 8ft high within minutes all the way around.
@@campervibe Hands could be seen in the froth as they sailed by. I was laughing too much to care, so they went round again. The second time they stood up and looked like foam covered zombies desperate to leave.

Glad you enjoyed Blackpool I live the place and luckily live 20 mins away. The lift hill on the orange coaster is the only part left from the 1st blackpool roller coaster. It was called the velvet coaster built 1909 ran till the 30s. Then it was made into the orange coaster. If you get a chance next. Time your in blackpool go to the tower circus. It is an amazing building ornaiate plasterwork better than any thearta. It also is one of 4 circus rungs that can be flooded. 2 non working ones in Paris and one I. Great Yarmouth. The ring can be lowered and raised into a 5ft deep pool for water acts and finalise. It's amazing to see

Dipping in to some older vlogs and I loved this one. Blackpool was where our family holidayed each year. My first visit was at the age of 2 and then every year for the next 14 years. It’s always been a bit ‘tacky’ but also a bit ‘magical’ and your vlog captured that perfectly. Your drone shots show it at its best - perfect. 💕

Stayed there a few times, summer and winter, not too many boy racers, decent little indoor market a short walk away. Couple of decent pubs just off the main road, and cafes a plenty. Thanks for the great explain of everything, even the "cast iron" lol .

When they say there is technical difficulties for the big one is usually just at the wind is too strong coming from the beach is right on the coast
They should say that as we have to close due to high winds is far better than technical difficulties with the ride surely 🤦♀️🤦♀️

The £5 a night camping area in Fleetwood is pretty good. Next to it there’s also the swimming baths, a pub and shows/events at the marine hall.

By a hotel near promenade but they changed parking restrictions .yes great we love tram rides charity’s and bike or scooter down promenade 😀there’s always a pull to Blackpool after I’ve had summer day .my mum DAD USED TAKE US TO SEE A SHOW STAY B AND B. At Blackpool.ciao bellas 😀
That sounds nice, yeah parking is OK in Fleetwood gets harder the closer you get but was such a good couple of days
yes Fleetwood quieter and theres toilets near Euston hotel.i even went in hotel for brew in morning as my wife still asleep in van ha

Stayed there a few times, summer and winter, not too many boy racers, decent little indoor market a short walk away. Couple of decent pubs just off the main road, and cafes a plenty. Thanks for the great explain of everything, even the "cast iron" lol .
