Greenham Common huh. There's a lot of history about that place. As an old (ish) lady, it was a big part of my youth because of my mum. Look it up, it's really interesting. 👍 Brilliant video ladies. Brilliant video I felt as though I was there with you apart from the running bit ! Every time I watch you I want to buy a van even though I’m rocking up to 70 and have no sense of direction I always wanted to be either a beach bum and a hippy chic as they say age is just a number so I live in hope.
Age us definitely just a number, lous parents who are in their mid 60s are out all the time in their van, don't let it stop you if it's something you want to do 😀😁

great post, you two! so interesting to see how "easy" it is cooking on the road in the UK ... here in Canada we avoid cooking inside the camper and have to be really careful about what/where we cook outside and where we leave our utensils ... because we have to always be aware of bear (and raccoon, skunk, etc) attractants which you definitely don't want anywhere near where you sleep! can't wait to hear all about your next trip plan! stay safe!

Hi, loose wrap your veg in a plastic bag with a couple of squares of paper towels, will keep in the fridge for most of the week if not longer. Change the towels at regular intervals though. The towels will soak up the moisture from the veg which is the reason the veg doesn’t last.

Hi Guys Great to meet you there as wont be at Overlanding Stratford. Update as promised on travelling, passed through Dover - Calais customs today. All they wanted to see was our passports and double jab certificates. Not interested in declaration forms about any symptoms or checking out our fridge dairy products etc. Will let you know how we get on at the Italian border in a week or so. Have a great time.

Great to meet you there as wont be at Overlanding Stratford. Update as promised on travelling, passed through Dover - Calais customs today. All they wanted to see was our passports and double jab certificates. Not interested in declaration forms about any symptoms or checking out our fridge dairy products etc.
Will let you know how we get on at the Italian border in a week or so. Have a great time.

@@campervibe No worries. Couple of other bits we’ve noticed over here which you may find useful are. Face masks are compulsory on the ferry unless eating. France are also hot on face masks in supermarkets, inside service areas and toilets.

You make a good point about veg at the moment. Most stuff we are buying is going out of date in 2-3 days. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's all seem to be the same.
