It's called Pumphouse and made by Audio Damage: apps.apple.com/us/app/pumphouse/id1270238019 You can also do traditional style sidechain compression pumping inside of a DAW like Beatmaker 3: th-cam.com/video/T2q67v6x6N8/w-d-xo.html
Decent is in the ear of the beholder, so I can't really answer that. Also, I don't personally use any convolution reverbs on iPad, but there definitely are some! Just google iPad convolution reverb. 😀 👊
I want to record a video using my apogee duet and Eventide Blackhole. I hooked up my synth into my apogee and I’m able to hear the effects from Blackhole but when I checked the recording the sound effect didn’t come out. What am I doing wrong?
Yeah, Video is always a whole other issue.👊 The filming would be taking the audio directly from the **input** of your audio interface, not from the iPad's internal audio. I've ended up having to record my audio and video **separately** and re-combine in video editing software.

Meaning, if you are *constantly at the iPad*, putting together new sounds and making new grooves and tracks and you would more tools to play with - then YES, absolutely! 😁 It certainly has it's own personality. 💙 Or, If making music on the iPad is more of a fun, casual hobby and you're already happy with the sonic capabilities of the Blackhole - then maybe not. It can sometimes get pretty overwhelming when you have too many plugins on your iPad that your're not actually using. 😏 Thanks for watching! 👊
