Cool stuff Dan. Thanks for sharing! Also, My wife and I were able to participate in the Cedar River Cleanup yesterday (8/10/24). Thanks so much for the donations to the raffle!
That is awesome! Thanks for your help as well, just wish I could have been there myself (work obligation). How much trash did everyone pick up this year?
@@FlyFishDan I don't know exactly how much but the piles were substantial. We were on the team that cleaned near the community center. Probably 20 + bags just in that area.
I love small creek trout fishing. The peace and quiet is a refreshing change of pace from everyday life and work. Also, how do like the BOA system on your wading boots? Korkers?
It was a pretty amazing day for sure. I like the convenience of the BOA, but they do fit a bit loose compared to the laces , even cranked all the way down.
Dan is doing the right thing here! Self-discovery is an added benefit to the angling experience if you get up, get out and look around. Get your maps out and lace up your boots - you will draw a lot of blanks but see lots of great country in the effort.... It's fun!
Thanks for keeping these little fisheries quiet (off of YT), Dan! Ethics first. You discovered it, others can too and they will have a richer experience for not just taking the handout! Great model for other content providers! Thank you!
Dan, that still water with a fat hopper tied on is...chefs kiss! I gotta say how much I enjoy your videos brother!
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Stunning place, looks well worth the drive for the scenery and solitude alone
Nothing better than being somewhere, like this, completely by yourself.
Cool stuff Dan. Thanks for sharing!

Another beautiful video, FFD. ☮ from North Idaho.
Thank you very much!
Beautiful little desert stream. And nice film editing, Dan!
I appreciate that Dan, thank you!
beautiful evening of fishing! also glad to see you dodged the snakes!
Almost didn't dodge the snake just a couple of days ago...swam right across the river and tried to get up my leg - NO THANKS!

That one fish off that run 😮
So fun to watch...sure liked the fish jump and the howling too !
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
Yep, looks pretty familiar.
If I had to relocate, Eastern Washington wouldn't be way down on my list of places to go. Way cool.
It's a great spot - hardly anyone knows about it!
@@FlyFishDan I have always loved the east side of our western mountains. It's where you can still feel "the old west." The austere beauty beckons me.
Just beautiful! Were you mostly fishing streamers?
Thanks! Yes - little micro streamers on this day
Love this place man, I’m sure we will run into each other here sooner or later 😂.
It's one of those gems ...nearly every time I have the place to myself.
More of these. Good direction to head. Less talk...more casts.
Thanks - appreciate the feedback, I do have a tendency to talk way too much. I’m planning to take a page out of Drew looking fishy’s handbook :-)
Nice releases
Thanks!
My favorite video that you have done!
Kim’s husband Duane
Thanks! I appreciate that :))
dude what is that rod holder belt? I need it
It's from Outdoor Professionals (O'Pros) - tell them I referred you :))
If it’s not the snakes, it’s the SPIDERS!!!!! WOOOOO-HOOOO!!!
No snakes on this day...thank God
@@FlyFishDan Have you been there with those big spiders going “full blast”??!?!?!?!
I have not! Later in the year?
I’m starting to get a feeling that you travel for work
Bingo :))
Beautiful place but you never say where you’re fishing so most of us will never fish it
Very true - my hope is to inspire others to discover amazing places just like this on their own. Thanks for watching!
The Rocky ford !
Atleast that’s my guess lol

Well said :))
Location please 😂
This one...has to stay private ;))
and this is how it stops being "remote and alone"
@@spuddoright1970 it’s mostly privately owned so good luck getting access to this area.
Keep your spots to yourself
