In my opinion, this is more of a "hobby drill" than one for everyday, continuous use, and for when you absolutely can't fit a regular drill in a tight space. I also like that you can handle it much, much better than a regular type drill, like when you're on a ladder, hanging onto a rafter with one hand, and you can only devote one hand to the drill itself. The shape of it makes it easier to handle; I have 5 of these drills, and have only broken one when the shaft snapped drilling into some very old, very hard wood....
@@Isitworthitreviews Since they're out of production, and apparently the parts to repair them are hard to get, I bought 3 to go with the two I already have as backups. I build model ships, from wood, and they work good for stuff like that, and I liver in a very old house, no standard lumber (1896), so there's always some odd space that a big drill won't fit into. I also found another company called Genesis Tools that makes a similar version, and Northern Tools also makes, or did make one...

Regarding the drill, I think you are correct that it would be an OK hobby drill.. it is my non expert opinion that if you are someone that is going to use it on any kind of regular basis you should get something more durable. This dewalt looks interesting.. I can agree with it being a hobby drill. I have now broken two though.. may I ask, why do you have 5?

Probably why its on clearance at $22 when most cordless right angle drills are $200. Just saved me a quick trip to HF. Thanks
Yeah, update a few years later.. I returned this unit and bought another one.. it also has completely died.
