I listen to a lot of audio books. I have a friend who just happens to be the voice of M&S ladies lingerie. Something like “go on treat yourself”. Back to this people and I mean all of us don’t get enough praise. I go months without a thank you at work. Sometimes I go the same without even a hug. I suppose I represent the 35-40 year old men who had a weird time growing up. That which was looked down on when I was ( WHEN I WAS A BOY!!) about 0-14 changed. It was ok to be Gay you didn’t get beaten up (side note I didn’t know I had so many gay freinds. In later life I have bumped into men who sat next to me in class. Not sure if happened in the books, but how would Farsighted fare against a Primarch if he struggled against a high ranking Space Marine? Something tells me he’d be torn a new one, especially against one of the stronger Primarch’s like Corvus Corax, he clearly has a fear and revulsion towards Psychers, but what are your thoughts? 🤔
I mean to be fair the Primarchs are basically a league fo their own. You need a chapter of space marines to defeat one primarch barring author stupidity; like when a squadron of grey knights managed to beat and banish a demon Angron (lol, What?) Or the war of the beast, but we don't discuss that atrocity of Warhammer lore and pretend it doesn't exist. (A bunch of orc primarchs, my god that plot was stupid...) But in general the only thing that can 1v1 a primarch is another primarch. They're the equivolent of demigods in their own right and are basically the humans equivolent to an avatar of Khaine or similar and are treated as such in terms fo being a special superpowered unit. No Tau commander can equal one without some plot device superdyduper new crysis suit unlike anything that's been built before to put them on primarch level. At best barring plot device like that he'd at most be a match to a chapter master and even then unless the author is wiping their ass with the codex it should still pretty much certain death trying even if he pulls a horus and manages to inflict a mortal blow before going down.

It bugs me they call it the “earth” cast. Why tf would an alien race call themselves an earth caste? They aren’t from earth so wouldn’t it be Land caste or terra caste?
You do realise that the word earth doesn’t just refer to our planet right? It’s just another way of saying dirt or rock. Also earth caste is just the transition of the Tau name not what the Tau actually call them.

The one from Halo Legends Fal Chavamee and our favorite from 2 and 3 The Vadam. Both of which saw through the lies of the Covenant equivalent of the Ethereals being the Prophets. Fighting against lies they had believed since they were born against a caste of higher ups lying to entire civilizations to maintain power. I always kinda liked Farsight but after noticing these parallels I have a newfound respect for him.
The year is 41K. the Milkeyway Galaxy is entirely ingulfed by the Grrim Dark Reality of War. Well, not entirely... One small enclaves of indomitable T'au (and other species) under the GGIGACHAD leadership of Commander Farsight still holds out against the invaders and the deteration of the GREATEST Good. And life is not easy for the Waring factions who garrison the fortified camps of Imperium, Chaosium, Orkorium and Tyranidium....
I found waking up while listening to your voice narratives are quite relaxing. Farsight is one of the most cornerstone of the Tau. Without him the the Tau society would have continued to be destroyed by the corrupt elite class. As Warhammer 40k expands once great enemies unite to fight chaos and the Tirnids.
Maybe i miss interpet this but from what i am hearing Farsight might not be all that pure and innocent as i tought. He sounds angry, murderes, bitter and somethines even psychothic. Is this the true nature of farsight instead of the gundam protagonist he is known for?

I've always seen the Tau's Greater Good is a statement of "Cooperation of the fittest". Imagine if WE did that.

I found waking up while listening to your voice narratives are quite relaxing. Farsight is one of the most cornerstone of the Tau. Without him the the Tau society would have continued to be destroyed by the corrupt elite class. As Warhammer 40k expands once great enemies unite to fight chaos and the Tirnids.
Let’s be honest here the Tau isn’t perfect but if came down to a choice between living under Imperium rule or the Tau im picking the Tau 40000/30000
Maybe i miss interpet this but from what i am hearing Farsight might not be all that pure and innocent as i tought. He sounds angry, murderes, bitter and somethines even psychothic.
Is this the true nature of farsight instead of the gundam protagonist he is known for?
