I’d like to ask you something. I personally only shoot with Sony cameras, but I’ve always been drawn to the look and texture of Blackmagic cameras. Since you’ve shot with multiple camera brands, do you find the BMPCC 4K or the 6K pro are still relevant in 2024? Thank you in advance!
Great question! Having shot both blackmagic and Sony I prefer the blackmagic colors more. I think they have such a great color science. To me they get the closest to the ARRI in terms of matching. I definitely think both of those cameras are still relevant. The 6k pro has a great image and the 4k has a great image and some great codec options. They're both fantastic cameras.
ok ok...someone here cant make things like everyone else...may I know, how does one come up with these really great ideas of how to frame such a difficult topic? You can learn a lot of things online but that level of cinematography is never discussed or talked about :( please teach us !
Hello my friend! Thank you very much for your kind words! I know this sounds like a simple answer, but fundamentally, and most important to me is to just pray pray pray. Ask God for help. There's some other practical things I do, but that's most important to me!
Ahhh thank you! It's funny, I never saw it, but I listened to a podcast with the DP, which was GREAT and it inspired much of the look of this short. I'm so happy to hear that you made that connection!

@@storylitfilms Thank you for taking the time to reply! I’m seriously considering the purchase of the BMCC 6K Full Frame!
@@Bernzini Absolutely! It's a great camera! You won't be disappointed!
Amazing cinematography! Did you use any lights on the outside shots or was it all natural?
Thank you Will! The exteriors were all natural light. I just used a 5 in 1 pop up diffuser on a c stand for a few of the shots.
