Ahhh thank you! That is my favorite part too! I really wanted it to convey this idea of him getting smaller and more boxed in! Thank you very much for your kind words!!
amazing natural lighting/composition, if you don’t mind sharing the lens set up? i see sone wide angles but not sure if you used and focal reducer paired with wide glass? great job, please continue inspiring
Thank you so much for your kind words! I shot this mostly on the 12-35 Lumix Panasonic f2.8 lens. There were a few shots on the Arri Ziess ultra prime 16mm on a pocket 6k. But I'd say 85% was pocket 4k with the Lumix. There was a ton of rain so it was hard to get most the shots out there hahaha.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Means a lot! For achieving skin tones I usually have a node in DaVinci to correct them and then I warm them up a little. It’s important to do this node before color grading, then once I grade I add a layer node to the grade and connect the skintones to that layer node.
You know that’s a tough choice! I can see why the Z cam is appealing: the ergonomics, size and weight alone make the Z cam a great option! Not to mention it produces a great image. I’m more comfortable with the BM work flow but I love a lot about the Z cam. The new one they just dropped looks really great too.
Thank you so very much! One thing that can really make your colors pop is using either analogous (same color hue) or complimentary (opposite of each other on color wheel) colors in your palette. I try to limit the color palette 1-2 primary colors present in front of the lens. Rarely but sometimes 3.
Good work - but as a rule of thumb, in your description, tell your viewers the lens you used, if you speed boosted, profile, frame rate etc etc. It's very useful to inquisitive minds about how to get certain looks etc. Thanks.
Love the 180+ degree interior pivot inside the trailer! Whole thing great, that exceptional!

Beautiful, did you film handheld or with gimbal set to faster follow response?
Thank you very much! A lot of it was filmed on a gimbal, but I definitely mixed it up with handheld shots.

@@storylitfilmsI’ve been looking into upgrading from my bmpcc 4k to a Z cam. But now you got me thinking maybe I just need better lenses 😅

For this one I used: panosonic lumix 12-35 v1 and ARRI Zeiss ultra prime 32mm and 85mm
What lens did you use? Did you add an speedbooster?
Hey Pablo! No Speedbooster on this one, but the one I’ve used in the past is the Metabones. I like that one a lot
Great work! No tutorial?
Thank you! Was planning to do a tutorial on Dehancer grading software soon!
@@storylitfilms please do so

Bruh how do you achieve these colors 😍
