@@nokuntry yes, they are known for a lot of issues. Look it up, turbos go out head gaskets serpentine belts and pulleys (not too big of a deal) I started having transmission issues swapped the valve body and then it started slipping I also had an electrical issue parasitic draw where the battery would die if left sitting for more than 24 hours. Brakes always squealing even with new parts and losing coolant but no leaks and oil didn’t look murky. I saw a dried spot of coolant around the head so I traded it in sad but it had to happen

@@Almightyyknight considering that the 2013 G37xs dyno higher then the specs state, it is not that hard to see why people actually dyno their cars. Performance tires, and cam, and tune, and also that it is AWD, I would love to get a turbo or a supercharger in it but money is tight lol 😂.

Can I ask a question. I just got a remote start with the oem key fob to my g37xs coupe. But when they guy finished my engine service light came on and he reset it but is that a normal thing or this guy did something wrong I hope I don't have problems with my car now won't find out till I drive it later after work. Did you have any errors on your dash is what I'm asking

Hey man, if nobody’s given you the sauce yet, I got you
Twin turbo or supercharge it. If you SC then use the Soho A2A kit and either way you should get a LevelTen built transmission, the stock 7spd will probably break if torque is pushed too high (the same happens with the GTR, built trans with boosted VQs/VRs is basically a requirement). The motor itself is incredibly stout, and is already pretty well equipped from the factory.
It should be around 16k + labor, and you will safely push 600whp+ on stock internals. 10k for the setup (Stillen Kit is 6200, A2A is 3800). Full catback + downpipes will run you about 3.5k. E85 pump + installation is surprisingly cheap on VQs as well, if you do everything at once then the tune is only about 850-1k.
For about 20k you’ll have a car that can run extremely hard and still be a reliable daily, without breaking the bank on tires and oil. This build is incredibly well documented on websites like MyG37 and here on TH-cam as well. If you want to see what a boosted VQ can do, check out Nitish21’s channel if you haven’t already.
Keep in mind that some people spend >5k on wheels alone lol. Don’t let people shit on you for spending 20k on a build meant to actually go fast. If you’re gonna do it, build it properly, or don’t do it at all. Cheers and best of luck.
