- 2024 Step by step on new EC apply method for Karnataka through Kaveri 2.0 portal. Best method to do this through mobile itself. All the steps explained including payment for online Encumbrance certificate, E-sign and apply process.
You can search EC in kaveri online 2.0 portal either with property details or with buyer or seller name. This method also explained in the video. If you are getting Form-16 after search, watch this video to know what is the issue.

This video really helped.
I did search for the property, but make payment option never worked. Tried for so many times and gaveup thinking its site issue.
But then after a month, tried using firefox/safari browsers and avoided using chrome browser, and luckily it worked.
So the issue was with chrome browser (could be because the server is too slow, chrome didn't wait for response).
So i suggest users to try with any browser other than Chrome.
Very good video. Just one thing needs to be modified. To get your encumbrance certificate, search with buyer name. Key in both first and last name in first name cell.

web site 2.0 says advanced. To get EC y it is asking so many details. Why can't be with sale deed regn number, year SRO ? In general Ec needed to a registered to any property / plot/ flat / etc., could not understand which inteligent guy programmed this website without this feature.

Yes multiple approvals happen automatic. We don't need to do anything.

This video shows to extra Form 16 EC certificate. But to apply for Khata transfer we need Form 15 EC certificate, how to avail it ?

Try adding more type of property, for example if ur site number 15, add property number, premises number, and put as 15.

Hi Thanks for the useful info. Wonder which is the best search field for apartments . Difficult to search by individual names or property details . EC is generated for the entire apartment complex.
even I stay in apartment, but no worries, I clicked on search by name, selected all the options correctly and perfectly got my EC details. make sure you select the same date range on which you completed your registry process.

I am unable to take EC online from Kaveri 2 portal. When i entered details of my site at Banashankari 6th stage, by selecting Banashankari 6 th stage blocks 1 to 4
and BDA PID no. i am only able to see
Form 16 wherein previous transactions within the period of search are not shown.
But when i enter BDA site no, wrong EC is shown. and also two more properties also shown may be due to wrong block no search.

So I’ve got the form 17 form and I’ve done the payment to, I’ve received the payment receipt to. But once I proceed I am not getting the E-sign option. Where as I am getting options like 1. Make payment 2. Delete application and 3. Verify challan.
