Those guys were minting money issuing ECs alone. A EC for one year used to cost around Rs.300 to Rs.500. I just now got a EC for 15 years costing Rs.170/- Had I visited the SRO office I would have to shell down at Rs.1.5k for the same. I now can understand why the real estate in Bangalore is so very expensive - most of the land must be owned by these guys. They must be having sleepless nights now. Is Mr.Siddu & Mr. DKS listening? Is there any way to change the information shown in EC? My flat's boundary details have been wrongly put in the EC. The sale deed values are right, but not in the EC.
I got the EC certificate signed by SRO , however inside E-aasthi website , it is unable to fetch the EC number and says that the EC cannot be older than 7 days. Do we need to apply again.

Wrong search, it's little difficult for beginners like us. Try with all the numbers you've, once with property no., once with khata no. Etc, with one number you'll surely get form no. 15
By the way Cheta, I got to see my EC (but yet to download) . It contains precisely my name, however the Form No displayed is Form 16 (Rule 148). Is this ok?
If you are able to see purchaser name, seller name, sale value details, property details in the form16 (pls scroll down and check) then it is ok. But if you are not finding you might need a better search. Only once you get the details pay online, else money waste.

Hello. if we go to sub registrar office and apply for EC, do we have waiting time to get it digitally signed or is it instant.
