P&O Cruises - Iona - Loen skylift excursion & our day in Olden

- In this video, we wake up early to watch as the beautiful Iona sails through the Norwegian Fjords to the stunning, Olden. After a little bit of breakfast at The Quays, we disembark and head to the Loen Sky Lift.
We are taken 1,011 metres above sea Leven to the peak of Mount Haven. The views are incredible and the clouds created such an incredible and ambient atmosphere. We explore the peak and take time out in the ideally placed bar and restaurant.
Later we head back down and have a look around the village of Olden. Whilst there we sample some Norwegian chocolate and enjoy some authentic locally brewed Olden Ale.

Oh wow, I could spend ages up there in the cafe just looking out at the view. Bet on a clear day it’s epic. Still beautiful to be in a clouds.
Oh us too. We want to do a road trip through Norway someday and spend a few days in and around Olden so we can spend a good chuck of time up there. In the winter it’s covered with snow and looks beautiful.
Great seeing Olden again, we did the skylift and I hate heights 😢, but glad I did it the views were spectacular a nice clear sunny day. Wow!!! those steaks looked good, we are on Arvia in March must try them.
Olden is amazing isn’t it. Oh me too, I felt like I could have done with a whiskey before the ride up but so glad we did it. Glad you enjoyed it too.
