Hi Paul, it’s a great way to see Norway for sure and agree on being cost effective. No pressure at all to dress up. We’re very much jeans and T-shirts too. P&O do have formal nights, but you can still be casual in the casual dining areas. You do have a tv and kettle yes. Also some pretty awesome biscuits 😄

Hey! Thanks for watching! Olden is STUNNING and we know you’ll have the best time there. For the sky lift, leave ship and a few steps away there are people selling tickets for the sky lift. Grab a ticket and then catch one of the blue coaches that take you on the 10-15min journey to the base. The coaches are pretty regular. I’m sure you’ll love it. 🚢🥂🥳

Hey! Honestly, we don’t normally use a luggage tracker. We should as we’ve had friends in the past lose luggage (via the airline, not cruise line). In the past we’ve used an Apple tag and it seemed to work just fine though. ☺️

Yeah, we noticed that on Iona too. I guess as it gets busy and it’s by the Theatre entrance they get a lot of use. Oh and the washing of hands.. don’t get us started. It takes seconds and the amount of guys I’ve seen coming out of cubicles without washing is astonishing! 😩🚽🧻

Hello 👋 Laundry, absolutely no issues at all. We just put them in a container to protect our clothes in case they burst. Restaurants, generally the booked ones like Sindhu we were seated as soon as we arrived. The main dining rooms could have a wait but if you use the virtual queue we found it wasn’t an issue. I think the longest wait was around 15 minutes, but we opted for a cocktail while waiting but it was ready before we were finished 😅 they hold it for 15 minutes though so no need to sprint. In terms of ordering I don’t believe you can order ahead. It was always done at the table. On some ships if you have food allergies they can order in advance but you’d have to check with the line you’re booked with. Happy sailing 😄🛳️🥂

As we’re not vegan ourselves we didn’t really notice too much to be completely honest. 🫣 That said. We do remember vegan options available in the main dining rooms and the buffet. And to be fair, I’m sure if you let them know your requirements they will do their best to assist where possible. ☺️

Drinks wise, the excursion we were on just included the rum cocktails if you wanted them. Otherwise they had lots of soft drinks and water. Great excursion overall for sure. 🎉🥂🏝️🚢☀️

Hey! It depends on the dress code on the night. For example if it’s formal night then some restaurants will be restricted to only formal wear. That said, there is always somewhere on the ship you would be able to dine wearing smart trainers. On P&O’s website, they normally list what the dress codes are per restaurant. 🥂🚢☀️

⁠@@laurastanley449I’ve only been on one cruise and that was this year we also booked for next year , as for tips I would say relax and enjoy yourself if you don’t want to do formal wear then don’t as you not got to do it , we done it just for photos then we changed into shorts and tops , same as other nights as you can go to the horizon buffet, on other nights my partner wore dark jeans and trainers and we went into the main restaurant, I myself would say just relax and enjoy as it’s your holiday so enjoy, I know we did every moment of it and on the day trips we done one for every port so it made our holiday feel like we were travelling the world and wakeing up in a different port every day make sure you get up and see the ship docking in as that was just brilliant, and meeting new people and making friends the people we met we all booked the cruise for next year on arvia .
