I love how this video shows that even the best players have to slow it down and practice slowly to get the notes. It makes me feel good. I don't know why it just does Cx

Irish and Scottish violin pieces like this are incredible. I love them so much! You should do more of them! Maybe try Tramps and Hawkers by the Old Blind Dogs.

I'm Irish and "Cú Chulainn" is actually pronounced like "Ku Kullen"
    Love the video

Nice! I love Irish music, but it can be quite difficult to play on the violin.

"A little bit faster" "A little bit faster" "A little bit faster"..
Barely saw the fingers move in the slowest one....

This is one of my favorite Irish tune. I've been working it out by ear, so thank you for confirming that I was playing it right sp far! lol. But hey, no chorus? Thats the best part! Although this section is more difficult than the rather lyrical chorus. Just would have been cool to see/hear you work on it.

I probably would have found it easier to follow the impromptu lesson with some sheets to guide me along, but thank you for the tips!!

    Grace note?
    You mean ornamentation?

Grace notes are a type of irish ornamentation.
