You only check the input 3 amp and show that this charger is producing 3amp current but didn't check the out put amp of charger

Cool ! I have been needing to build a mobile charger . Thanks ! It will be my first charger circuit . I need a 3.7 volt charger as well . I will look and see if you have a video on how to build one .. you probably have built one already . If not I would love to see how you put one together .

Unfortunately the transitor 7805 has low amper output from 1/2 to 1 amper so if you need to charge your 3000 mili amper battery it needs long time
Another issue if the input volt is 13 or 9 volt the volt difference between the output volt is large and this will lead to increase the hotness of the transitor as dispencery power and finally it will burn and lost

What about using B772?
I have two 7805 in paralel with 12V input and about 1.5 to 2amp output after a while my cooling fan turns on reducing output to 1.3amps but it has active cooling and it doesn't overheat
@David Atehortúa it doesn't matter, use any farad capacitor, capacitors only for line regulation (filtering noises in voltage)
