Impressed -- always, Gary -- how well versed you are across a whole litany of things from mechanical, electrical, body/paint, upholstery, brakes, etc. Black Corniche looks stunning once more and even though red is not my color, looking forward to see the other corniche come back to life, ready to both drive and impress along the way. Thanks for putting all of this on video,

Hello, Back in 1971, when I was 12, my uncle bought a new 71 Silver Shadow, black sides, and a beige top, black vynil top. I think he said the paint was called Sand over sable. I remember riding with him and his family from Palm Springs to LA, to buy it. It was an absolutely gorgeous car. And the leather interior was beautiful and smelled so nice. When I was 15 he taught me to drive with it, and at 16 I took my driving test at the DMV with it. I would help him hand wax it about every 3 months. He sold the car in 1978 , and I believe it had about 50.000 miles on it. He sure loved that car, it still looked brand new in and out. He had misgivings about letting it go, but had his eye on a new Porsche. And so he did trade it in. I sure do hope its still around and owned by someone who loves it. If its still here in Southern California, theres a good chance it is. Great guy my uncle, and great memories of his beautiful ROLLS.

Just found your channel Gary. I really like where you take the time to film with the camera static wherever possible. I have a SAAB 900SE but nowadays as soon as I pick up a spanner I can hear all the bolts tighten so any work now is left to a trusted specialist.
