LOL I still have that jacket and 40 years later (last year) I came across an official Ramones leather,waited a bit 'til it went on sale and snagged me a brand new Ramones uniform! It's a badass jacket. Yea man this morning I finally felt a bit cool breeze lol us Floridians don't do good with the cold so I agree. I have broad shoulders so I'm glad that they can tailor it to a custom fitting. I would say the only problem with suede is with the rain especially since we're both in South Florida.
Yea I agree. I have to pick up a protectant for the suede. This will be a jacket that I can only wear when I absolutely know its not gonna rain down here.
Lookin' good, Sir! That's really nice, but, the Han Solo jacket I would really want, would be the one he wore in TESB. Since I was 7 or 8, I wanted that jacket. My Mom bought me a navy Lacoste/Izod windbreaker jacket, in 1982, and THAT was my Han Solo-esque jacket. Funny enough, in Fall 1989, my Mom bought me another, extra large, adult-sized one, from Saks 5th Ave. To this day, Man, I STILL wear that jacket, and it still fits (not a scratch or a broken zipper, yet, after over 30 YEARS!), and I still feel like Han Solo, whenever I wear it. Have you seen the brand new ad for The Mud-horn backpack, from The Mandalorian Collection? Would be a great companion with what you're rockin'. Hey, I'm still hoping I could purchase the 2015 (Michael J. Fox) Back To The Future oversized, self-drying jacket, for a reasonable price! Those power lace-up Nikes would be nice, too...only, the brand stopped making sneakers in my size and width, by the mid-1990s. Trust me, Jorge: Many of Us have gotten BIGGER over the last 8 or 9 months.
Lol. Quarantine does not work well with my eating habits lol. But lately I've been going on walks again. So I hope to cut back some of the lbs. Dude the ESB jacket is another one I want to get. And I like that ESB Parka that was released for the work crew during the filming of ESB. I know a guy who has those Back to the Future sneakers.. they are so damn cool. Great story about your jacket my friend. Thanks for always commenting!
