- Hey everyone and welcome back to Zeepkist! Today I built a massive mogul hill based on level 8 from adventure mode except with a shortcut protection system and a much larger hill! Level 8 is all about surviving the bumps all the way to the bottom so I decided to make it insane to really destroy my friends!

cbad just looks so much more in control. Like he gets less airtime at the start, and just follows the line down for most of it with as little steering correction as possible. Just smooth movement.
It looked like only his first landing was bad, but it bounced him into a smooth landing on the next bump. After that he was able to keep smooth landings to build up speed.
He isn't a world record holder for nothing, ye know!

Track theme "Video Games" tracks based off of a video game
track theme of "the pain is mandatory" would be interesting, seeing you guys design tracks that are designed to be difficult, while still trying to make them fun and fair
Would the 1 word theme be "Kan"
Tracks that are "fair" end up being boring to the majority of players and only enjoyable by the noobs that seem to always complain.
@@chasm9557 kAN theme would just be some insane centrifuge style track in a trash can
short idea for tracks: have a basic (actually REALLY BASIC) track and give it to one of the others. then they add obsticles or change something minor and they give it to the other. and you practically do a full round until each of you have your new tracks back in which you can add some things at the end too.
you could even use themes in which you start for a theme and the others add to it
How about each of them make 3 things, then give that file to each other and they have to figure out how to incorporate it into the tracks.
That gave me an idea: they each start a track build and have a certain amount of time to work on it then give it to someone else to work on for the same amount of time and repeat in 1 giant loop until they get their original track back.

"Macro Machines" = Opposite of a micro machine tracks, the Zeepkist has to look like a giant on the track
I've always wanted to see a theme where you build tracks in "someone elses style", such as Kan building a Dapper-style track, Dapper building a Kosmo-style track etc. But that wouldn't be a good first theme track for Moonbo :)
How about a the theme: Food? Like a track in a giant restaurant or with giant food obstacles? 🤷🏻♂️ Great track today Kan!

I really enjoyed the dual cam at the end showing CBAD getting a killer time. Really confirmed my suspicion that the lower times were just getting into the rhythm earlier in the run.
I played level 8 the "right" way. I never considered going around.

Perhaps a theme could be picking one of the maps in adventure mode and using that for inspiration. It could be inspired by the aesthetics, or a specific skill needed to master it, or a well known cheese used to beat it.
Theme idea: weather, you could have it be different stages like the ones for seasons, stormy could be harder with saws and sunny could be a stroll in the park.
Idea for a theme: Everyone gets assigned another participant. Now, the Builder has to build a track like he imagines the assigned one would build. (A lot of cheese for Dapper for example)
a theme for a race track could be 'speed and adrenaline.' this could be reflected in the design of the track, which would be full of sharp turns and quick accelerations, as well as in the gameplay, which would be fast-paced and exciting.
I'm sure you know because you play with a dev, but this is an homage to Trackmania's A08. Starting with TM2, every (A)08 track was exacly this. The community actually started "A08 forever, where they built funny adaptions of the classic A08 track".
Cheese theme, I want to see what cheeses Moonbo can make, I mean you never know if he could become a new Dapper...
Theme idea: to the hole!
The target is to create a track with creative ways of transitioning between map sections using holes.
*Looking at Kan* : Kacky mechanics forbidden ;)
For a theme, I suggest open world tracks. They are my favourite because the fastest route is not immediately obvious. Also I'm so happy Moonbo will be making more tracks!

Theme: Flight On/Off Tracks.
Ideally, tracks that use the flying easter egg but they're not the entire level. Temporary flight, I guess?
Idea for a theme: Prismas. White light turning into red green and blue. One track having three ways that split and maybe rejoin before end. You could play with colors, brightness, black&white, number of lines etc in that theme. I really hope you do something along these lines!
You might be able to optimize the start by turning onto the first whoop so that you minimize airtime and maximize the speed gained from gravity. Should let you get into the rhythm even faster than what cbad managed, at least in theory.
Track theme suggestion:
Moonbo
Each makes a track that represents what Moonbo is for them.
Great remake of track 8, well done!
Theme idea: Temple maze - moonbo did such a great job on his temple maze build for scrap mechanic that I think it would be cool to do a similar idea for a track build. Could add secret passageways triggered by pressure plates etc.
Theme: New parts. Use only or primarily the new parts like those four way tube parts.
Theme idea: Choose your path track with no choice being too obviously better than the rest

I like that you added the 1st place players run. I hope you, Dapper and Kozmo do that often. It helps to see the difference in techniques.
I love seeing the record at the end of a vid. if Fiets would be able to add a feature for that it would be amazing! :D
reminds me of the first big track I made "Zeepkist Print Edition". Quite unforgiving, but has enough room to take the bumps at an angle if you don't want to slow down.
this is both satisfying and anxiety inducing to watch
Themes (one per line):
"Matrix" (the movie)
"amusement park" (you have to have multiple different attractions in one track)
"double" (build a track and copy it " directly above" (like a few meters, but not shifted) it, but make the copy invisible; so you have to use the lower one as orientation; maybe drive the "invisible" track backwards (from end to start))
"unexpectable" (like: you have a track does does flow nicely, but only if you know it; so if you learn the track, it flows nicely, but first try is impossible)

theme idea! Treehouses! I could see that being a lot of different things from maybe a downhill spiral of tree limbs or through several tree houses or something. could be really cool to see what you all do with it :D

I miss the themed tracks(and to a lesser degree 15 min tracks), looking forwards to more themed tracks!
Dapper theme. Everyone has to make a dapper style level, except for dapper who has to make a Kan style level.
You know the developer played track mania because on track mania any track with this style is called A-8 because of a campaign map
"Space" or "orbit" or "Solar system" would be a cool theme. you could make a track where you jump between planets or asteroids or maybe race on a saturn-like planetary ring.

Theme ideas: Jurassic, time travel, Space, Adventure, discovery, nostalgia. Some simple themes and some open-ended ideas.

Jungle swing, like Tarzan or _George of the Jungle_ (Watch out for that tree♫)

Theme of "trench warfare" - that is, a twisty-turny track with ice walls and sharp ice walled-corners so racers can't see to plan ahead of time where to go, nor wallride up the sides.
Map Idea: Each of you starts building a section then sends the map to the same next person till everyone worked on every track once and been 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ... builder once.
Would love to see a factory theme. Like giant conveyer belts or such. Like Factorio.... sorry been playing way to much Factorio lately

Theme Suggestion: Jumpscares - tracks that look nasty and like pain, but which are actually safe and relatively smooth and easy.

Theme: the most iconic video game from your childhood
Hey thats maybe a Trackmania reference as tracks from the trackmania 2 games featured on A08 the same bumpy downhill. Since then a lot of levels were made in reference to this, even one of the seasonal campaign of tm2020 had a A08 like map which was the 8 th map. And in TM you couldnt cheese it so the WR are pretty cool.

I really like the "void" dark background, fill it out with like spaceships, and then ride the stars!
I think it would be fun if each of you designed a track based on each other like Kan for Moonbo, moonbo for kosmo and so on
Curly fries could be a funny thing. weird loops on loops, jumps and hops. though i figure that could also be very very hard if done wrong

"Egg Hunt" - It's that time of the year afterall
"Food" - could be a fruit basket, could be a cheese, who knows 🤷
"Windy" - fans trying to blow you in bad directions if your not careful
"Unusual obstacle" - find a creative way to create obstacles
idea for a future track, You start out with the 4x1 ramps, move to the 3x1, then the 2x1, then the 1x1. Just for the pain
Theme idea: revamp. Take an older track and refresh it with improvements on the concept. Also, if you wanted to do a very painful version of this track, you could vary the ramp lengths so the moguls are no longer consistent. And you could also do a mogul version closer to the ski version, where they are round bumps you have to weave between with a couple of jumps partway down.
theme idea: fire, you have to build tracks related to fire in some way, water would also be a good one
for theme: the crew, each of yall have make a track, based off another one of yall. so dapper = cheese track with a gaint dapper, kan = hard as heck track and green, etc etc etc.
Here's a theme for you: Food. I wonder how fun it would be to ride on a track that's shaped like a burger.

Okay, theme idea, Kings Day.
April 27th is going to be Kings Day again in the Netherlands, so having a theme to coincide with this day would be pretty fun.
Fun fact, before Princess Beatrix' abdication, Queens Day was on April 30th, despite her birthday being on January 31tst. This to honor her mother, who was born and held Queens Day on that day.
Would be fun to have this with a mix of different ramps so the rithm is harder to achieve

Theme for next track: Downhill. So many tracks are just flat booster tracks these days. I want more traditional soapbox tracks.
Theme Idea : Yggdrasil and the nine worlds. A very flowy track with big turns and loops where you drive up the roots of Yggdrasil through the nine (or less) worlds all the way up to Asgard or you can start in Asgard and drive down to any of the other worlds, depending on how much work you want to do...
Theme ideas: Library, Garage, A1/F1 racing, Atlantis, Pyramids, Bank Heist

I really want to see an underground theme.
I think a cool theme could be a track where it goes through similar sections with changes made each loop. Put a checkpoint at the end of each repetition and then have it be a mix of learning the section and then adapting the line for the unique change each repetition ala this is the only level.

Simple idea. You start map 15min. Then you give the map to your friend who builds 15min. Then next next next until you get your map back. You have 15min to validate your map and if you fail you are allowed to modify unti you get it validated.
Basically everyone builds everyone's map for 15min 😄
