A new feature I'd like to see involved when you do a lobby race with the public - the 20+ people trying for the best time.I At the end of the race, 10mins, right?!, I'd like to get a replay of the fastest time.
Yannic has talked about this. It is not really all that possible since the track is not the same every single time, so it isn't just saving inputs and replaying those inputs to show it back. It would involve having to actually save a video file for any lobby, which really isn't feasible. I suppose there might be a way to save the starting position of every item on the map, along with the player inputs, but I'm not sure if there is even more randomness to it. But this is why it is easy to do this on Trackmania or other games where if you do the exact same inputs every run, you will have the exact same time. But with randomness thrown in, what might be a perfect run of just barely missing an obstacle might result in your hitting that obstacle and crashing next time.
@@FUGP72 You could always just playback player position. Yes, it would sometimes show things happening that don't make sense from your perspective, but that ALREADY happens all the time when watching other racers. Would be a whole lot better than nothing.
@@FUGP72 tbh it'd just be easier to save a bunch of points with the car position and rotation and interpolate between them, do it like once per meter, second, or 15 degree or something like that. (basically do a weighted sum of time, distance and rotation, that should be enough to get a relatively reliable ghost.) or just hook into the multiplayer system and make a fake player with the same skin and name run the track.
I think the way you're "supposed" to do it is somehow get turned back around to go up that second vertical section and somehow fling yourself back to the first section to land on that vertical section then turn around again for the finish.
I think you are supposed to cross over when you get back on the highway. the ramp at the end you enter there, the inner land have no barrier on the outside, so you can drop from there probably down to the path leading to the finish
So after getting the back checkpoint, go down the track until it pushes you back. Go back, go up the ramp, and jump over to the ramp on the left. Go down the road again until it pushes you back. Go back and take the exit. (I don't play Zeepkist, this is just what I see on the video.)
The issue with that idea is that the track is also full of forward boosters. Dapper gets caught in between the two sets at one point and just bounces back and forth. The route could be hidden in a specific lane that doesn't have a booster but it'd be a giant pain to find.
@@MrAdannor it looks like the first lane is all forward boosters and the other three lanes are pointed in the other direction so if he turns hard right he should be able to get over that first lane and then ride the boosters up for the halfpipe transition. its a mess though, id like to see the original validation on that map...
Idea for a track: Have multiple routes, with both A) one very short, easy route ~10 seconds from the start so people can try to finish ASAP to get podium, like just trying to shave 0.03 seconds from their time but it's not very fun. Have little ways to try to help them boost their speed. A jump, riding a railing, etc to try to be a second quicker. B) alternate routes that are definitely longer, but much funner to play. Have a lot of shortcuts/stunts and difficult sections. So people can decide if they want to try for podium or if they just wanna enjoy the track. As time ticks down, more people will probably try to get/reclaim a spot on the podium.
R0nan streams zeepkist on twitch everyday. It's a fun way to play and hear others that are in the lobby, see better lines to take and also get some entertainment.
I wonder if we're gonna get the ability to set start spawn and end points for more objects so the autobahn could have moving cars or any obstacle could be made a moving part if you wanted.
0:00 Looks less like the Autobahn, and more like an American Highway, because most Autobahns are only 2 to 3 lanes wide, and the lanes themselves are also only big enough for 1 car.
It is the Autobahn so there is no Tempolimit and you have to drive so schnell wie möglich to nit be a disturbance for other drivers. 9/10 because the start is the wrong Auffahrt
How did you not see the guiding wall and the open wall on the second ramp 3:35 ? It was kinda clear that the track was guiding you, but only once you turned around. Also, notice the "work in progress" sign is also telling you don't go up here. So, in my mind, you're suppose to jump off the ramp on the far left side, land on the other ramp as far as you can, and then make a quick left u-turn into the finish. Honestly, I thought you had it knowing how good of a chees master that I know you are. 😁 Regardless, fun watch as always!
It looked like after you take the second CP you come down the ramp and make a 90 degree turn right, slam on the breaks, make another right onto the last ramp. There is no guard rail to stop you from jumping to the finish road at that point.
Pretty sure that’s also a cheese. The boosters go all the way to the edge there. I think you’re just supposed to make another loop and he’s not maintaining enough speed to make it through the backwards boosters
@KryptikM3 A U-turn is just an upside down "n-turn". In the real world, the n-turn is the direction of travel. I will see myself out, no need to get the door.
You obviously aren't a skater. Hell, I'm not a skater, but I have played Tony Hawk enough to see those two road ramps and instantly see half pipes. Jump from one to the other and go to the finish.
German here, this is a very accurate depiction of the Autobahn
Last I checked germany were driving right side of the road though, this track have the cars driving left though
@@GummieI oh yeah I also do enjoy the creative liberations the author took, like the halfpipe made of road for example
Ich zweite das!

@@FeLix-kf6sy Aha! Einen fröhlichen Freitag mein Kerl! Und Flosse Genosse, mein Kumpel.
The cheese at the end really epitomises the idea of "necessity is the mother of invention"
The entire time I played this track it was that the fans are too powerful
And they call your tracks pain, but these tracks exist
Confronted by a difficult map, he finds the cheese. Classic Dapper
I love doing a U-turn into 4 lanes of highway traffic

@@FUGP72 It's not that the track changes, it's that Unity's physics doesn't produce the same results from the same inputs every time.

It was pretty darn amusing to hear how much this map kept interrupting your starting speech. Sounded like you had fun with it for sure.

The title USED to be "Track Has A Massive Unintentional Shortcut"
As a BMW owner, this is just how I normally drive
So it's come down to this. Cheesing tracks is the ONLY way Dapper can play anymore.

I just love the chubby tic tac arms
0:12 the anxiety of every new driver merging onto the highway 📈📈
Sounds like I'll be getting Zeepkist right around the update then. Just finishing a giant Marble World track first. Love your videos btw.
Zeepkist is getting a price increase after the update

But you never anticipated the Dapper.
Wow this map looks unpleasant

I got this game after/because watching y’all’s regular(ish) videos, but I haven’t even played it once yet 😅😂
I should probably get on that

truly the master of cheese, even when finding it lol
Man this game is cool. I'm struggling with the track editor though. I want it to feel like Roller Coaster Tycoon, or have layers or something.
I wonder if we're gonna get the ability to set start spawn and end points for more objects so the autobahn could have moving cars or any obstacle could be made a moving part if you wanted.
Zeepkist, where U-turns Become Yeet-turns.
Daily Zeepkist.... YES PLEASE
The map tried to cheese the cheeser!
Dapper, make a track where being close to the edge accelerates you, but touching it slows you down
simple monke here, see dapper playing zeepkiss and i click
After you get past the red and white cones, quickly get over to the right side of the road.

We got dapper playing no hesi before gta6

This level is really badly made
Did kAN make this track? I wouldn’t of put up with this much pain
The boosters on this track are a minefield.
