    The Purple Hybrid Premier is the most luxurious mattress from Purple. Like the other Purple mattresses, it features a proprietary Purple Grid that is firm and pressure-relieving at the same time. The mattress comes with either 3” or 4” of this material, depending on how much comfort material you want.
    We reviewed the 3” model and thought it was a great mattress for hot sleepers and back sleepers as well. Medium-weight and heavyweight side sleepers should also feel great pressure relief. If you want a more durable, luxury mattress, the Purple Hybrid Premier should be a good pick.
    However, the mattress might not be the best for lightweight sleepers. Also, the Purple Hybrid Premier might be a bit too pricey for some. Finally, if you like to slowly sink into your mattress, you might want to look at a memory foam mattress instead.

    I absolutely 💜LOVE💜 the Purple Hybrid Premier mattress. The "No-Pressure" comfort is exactly what I need for my sciatica/ hip pain and sore shoulder (that I got from my last mattress).

    I have had the Purple Premier .3 for a little over a week. It is amazing. My husband and I do not want to get up in the morning; not because we are tired, only because it is so comfy. I highly recommend this mattress. We are side and back sleepers. 210 and 170 weight. I hope this helps!

    purple hybrid premier 12" thick which is nice that it is not really thick , hyper elastic gel grid is very interesting construction, i like that the motion transfer is not much my hubby would really like it since i tend to flop around alot and i like that it is good for hot sleepers. It is a little pricey but may be worth it!

    I would love the Purple Hybrid Premier for the pressure relief and heat dissipation! But like you mentioned Martin, it is a bit above my budget. Looks like an amazing mattress, I’ll keep my eyes open for good deals. Thanks for they great review and comparisons Martin!

    I have never really been drawn to the PURPLE line but This one does catch my attention everytime. I would actually try this one out. I like the Hybrid built and the 4 inch would be the one I would go for being a side sleeper.

    So intrigued with the “Purple Grid” after watching your videos. However, unless I try it, I would not buy due to the non memory foam feel. I would pick the Purple Hybrid Premier over the all foam Purple. I like that it’s good for heavy and hot sleepers plus the durability factor with the coils. Thanks 😊 Martin!

    Combination back and side sleeper who also sleeps hot. I would be interested in feeling this style of bed, before committing to the cost. Although it would be a sleep investment, this is very expensive for most budgets. As I am also tall and heavier, I'd want to feel the support and how it collapses under pressure points. Thanks for the information

    • @Mattressclarity

      That is awesome! Thanks for watching, Danny. Based on your sleep preferences and you weight range, we'd probably recommend the Premier 4. The Purple 3 is slightly firmer than the 4 and as a side sleeper, you will need as much cushioning under your shoulders and hips. Since you stated that you stated that you have shoulder problems that extra inch of Purple material on the top could make a big difference. We would say that since Purple has a unique feel that some people like and other do not like as it feel nothing like a normal innerspring mattress which most of us grew up with. Just be mindful of that when you purchase and use your trial period to make sure its the right fit for you. Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Almost all the reviews of this mattress are new.
    I’d really like to know if the material on top breaks down like other comfort layers and within a year I’d be sleeping in a soft ditch. I know visually it will probably still be flat, but worried it will break down and get soft where my weight is.

      I have had the standard one-inch layer version of purple back before they started even offering the other sizes, about four and a half years now. I weigh around 250 pounds and the elastic top layer is still going strong. The memory foam base underneath it has yet to form any deep grooves either, still a solid bed.

    Please compare this to the Idle Latex Tallalay- it must be the Tallalay because it is proven better for side sleepers - the Idle is less expensive and has higher quality materials.

    If I could ever afford it I would love this mattress I think.
    Me and my fiancé are hot heavy side sleepers. So we need something supportive and very comfy and breathable. Probably would go with the 4inch. I’m not sure how the polymer would feel tho. Probably something I’d have to get used to.

  • @kevinqin412

    Since the Purple 3 is the most popular version, I think it's best for the balance of support and comfort, especially for combo sleepers like myself. The 4 may be too soft for the extra money.

    You are one of the few that uses pressure points. I noticed the purple hybrid had a little red when lying on your back but not much. It seems like a good mattress but to costly for me. What I would like to see done is comparing the purple hybrid 3 to the purple hybrid 4 and who should get one over the other. I am sure the heavier you are the more you want between you and the foam and coils underneath but just my guess.

  • @J-ZIM
    @J-ZIM 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    This mattress seems very comfy, but was expecting more side pressure relief. I wonder if 4" Premier is better. I like that you won't get stuck in the foam, but the motion transfer isn't the greatest. Thx Marten

    Can somebody tell me what the width of the edge support is please? We were planning to buy a split king, but if the edge support is 6" wide, then that would mean the sleeping area on top of purple grid is only 26" wide. My shoulders are 24" wide....so I would have to be perfectly centered.

    • @pinkwarkitten14
      @pinkwarkitten14 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a super late response but the edge support isn't that wide, at least not on a queen. It was just a few inches, like maybe two or three but I didn't measure.

    Seems a little too soft for my preference as I have a bad back and lean towards a hybrid mattress withy a memory foam mid layer and a comfort but supportive pillow top upper layer. Purple doesn't seem to fit this profile.
