The Purple Restore Plus is part of Purple’s new “Premium Collection,” featuring a variety of luxury mattresses. Similar to the two other mattresses in this collection, the Restore Plus comes in two firmness options: Soft and Firm. I’ll be looking at the Soft model in this review. The Restore Plus is a 13-inch tall hybrid mattress, featuring a supportive coil base and foam comfort layers. The upper comfort layer is Purple’s proprietary GelFlex grid, which offers a unique feel and adaptive support. Purple says the materials in the Restore Plus bring advanced pressure relief, temperature balancing, and durability.

I got this one in a king soft don’t have to worry about about the edge. The head and foot controls mattress is a must.
I have a Purple 3 mattress (now called Purple Hybrid 3) -- purchased in January 2020, right before the Pandemic. I love it but I can feel some very slight sagging in the section when my hips lie every night. I have asked Purple and maybe Sleepopolis can do a video on how and if these new Restore and Rejuvenate mattresses differ from their previous versions of Hybrids (or are they just name changes?). I watched your videos back in 2020 and they've helped me decide to buy a Purple in the first place, so thank you for your continued reviews! 🙂
Purple warranty is great. I purchased a hybrid 3 as one of my seven purple mattresses. This one we had an issue with the side separating after about 2 years. I called them up got an email with details for the claim. Sent the requested photos and in less than 24 hours I had my exchange options. I opted to pay the difference and upgrade to the new RestorePlus and the order was placed today. Super fast, super simple, and great to work with. I could have went the free exchange for same model, but I figured for the little bit more I could get the latest and greatest so why not.
I had originally purchased a Purple 2" back in 2019 and after 90 days (100-day trial), upgraded to a Purple 3" mattress. After 60 days, the grid collapsed, and I took pictures (water jugs and laser tape measure on the mattress) and filed a claim with Purple directly. They sent me a new Purple 3 and delivery guys took the defective one back for an "autopsy". I've been sleeping on the replacement mattress since.
Wow great customer service - sell you a crappy mattress that separates in 2 years, then offers you to pay more to upgrade to something that might be less defective. This infuriates me. I spent 6k for a mattress that sagged in 8 months and ruined my back. I refuse to pay them more.
@@shaunb6014 They offered a free replacement of the same mattress and the issue wasn't major and it didn't make it unusable. That was one of our 7 purples. The rest have been going fine with zero issues. Overall I am happy with the experience and I didn't mind buying a new model upgrade for a bit more. I like the new one quite well so far, but time will tell if it fares better than the hybrid 3. I do still think the OG purple with no side support was the best they ever sold.
When are you guys going to review the rest of the new purple restore and rejuvenate lines?

Would you recommend the purple restore plus soft for side sleepers looking for the softest mattress for shoulder pain or would you go for the Helix Sunset Elite for the softest mattress for a side sleeper with shoulder pain? I have it narrowed between these two mattresses. Thanks Sleepopolis!
Do you know if you have to wait to sleep on it for it to expand or if you can sleep right away?
My Premier Hybrid 4 sagged significantly in less than 8 months. Customer service is abysmal. Spend 6K and they do not let you speak to anyone. They only option they offer to ship you the same defective mattress. So what happens in the next 8 months? Do you just get a new mattress every year? The internet is littered with sag complaints. In 8 months it ruined my back because the bed offeres no spine alignment. Too much sinkage! Tried the "new" Restore Premier - even weirder - some over stuffing edge support that pushes you to the center - so you have a feeling like you are sleeping in a bowel. Please DO NOT spend this kind of money of failed foam! Trust me, you will regret it!
