  • Classroom of the elite and Tomodachi game has a lot of similar aspects, They are both very enjoyable I really loved watching class room of the elite and editing this video it was so fun. Yuuichi vs Ayanokoji, I dont think Yuuichi could manipulate koji.

Actually classroom of the elite and Ayanokoji are know for the light novel and not for the anime. As a light novel reader I can safely say that the ln is 100 times better than the anime. The anime covers only 3 out of the 23 volumes and let me tell you that the next volumes are way better than he first 3 covered in season 1. Unfortunately, even the first 3 volumes were covered rather poorly in the anime(very rushed and they changed stuff as well). Also, Horikita isn't a tsundere at all in the novel but the anime was somehow trying to make her one for the boys lmao.

This is how I see this confrontation going:
Yuuichi is a fantastic actor,a nd a player on emotions, yet Kiyotaka doesn't really mesh well with those sorts of people. Looking at how good of a judge of character Yuuichi is, I think he would know that Kiyotaka is somehow special or different, and would soon realize, that his deceptions won't work so easily on him. On the other hand, I doubt that Kiyotaka would be able to differentiate Yuuichis acting, due to both his lack of human emotions as well as understanding of the human condition. Canon proof of that could easily be Kushida, who he was only aware was acting due to a chance encounter. Generally, I think when it comes to being covert in a sense, both would be on equal footing, yet I do think that Yuuichi would have a slight edge in knowing who the enemy is.
I could potentially see Kiyotaka noticing oddities and logical fallacies in Yuuichi's acting, which could give him away, but that bring me to my next [point, which is layers. More precisely, planning layers. IN each verse, both have shown competencies in creating plans, where they draw out their opponents, so I think at the end of the day, both would employ some strategy to figure out who the enemy is, yet due to Yuuichi having an upper hand already, I think he would have already laid an additional layer in his plan. Something unorthodox.
From then on, they both would use different approaches to tackle their enemy. Yuuichi would attempt to provoke a certain reaction out of Kiyotaka, however would soon realize, that his opponent is apathetic. Thus he would look for a different approach. I could see 3 approaches that Yuuichi would use, to put Kiyotaka in a tough spot. 1# Being other people. Yuuichi would most likely begin moving other people against Kiyotaka. This could include coercing aggression, false information or illogical emotional outbursts, which would force Kiyotaka to react and adapt. 2# Would most likely be a direct probing of Kiyotaka's personality, in an attempt to bring him into the light. This could be direct or tricky questioning, threats or even faking a friendship to eventually betray him. 3# Would be misdirection. Something Yuuichi excels at is giving the completely wrong impression and misdirecting his opponents. one way how it could be is he could, with his exceptional acting, fake a whole persona to the point, where it would be completely indistinguishable from the real thing, which would make Kiyotaka make a plan around a faulty analysis. Or, in a more drastic sense, he could lose on purpose. Force Kiyotaka into a confrontation, and lose on purpose, only to somehow turn it back around either at the last moment or at a later, unexpected time.
Kiyotaka on the other hand, I would say, has a few more options. Him being both impossibly intelligent and physically capable, with a superhuman memory to boot, he could simply approach it with physical violence. It has been stated that neither of the two would have any qualms with killing a person, but outright violence would most likely be the last resort. the main plans that he would include would, similar to Yuuichi, be to move other people against him. These movements would most likely be based on previously observed personality pattern manipulation which he has been fairly good at thus far. He could also approach this with pure logic in mind and simply set up a multi layered trap, similar to how he caught Yagami, by involving many moving pieces. Or he could simply logic out Yuuichi's plans and catch on to certain inconsistencies, which may occur in his acting. Therefore, breaking him down layer by layer. However, I am not certain that he could accomplish that, once again, going back to Kushida and his lack of human interaction experience.
Now, to summarize, I think both of them would begin by testing each other out, and Yuuichi would most likely make the first move. However, as he has began moving, purely on autopilot, Kiyotaka would have already analyzed his persona. From then on, he would have already identified a threat, and begun moving certain pieces, in a logical order. And by pieces, I mean people. From information gathering, to induced interactions, Kiyotaka would begin by gathering as much information as possible. Yet, he would soon see, how the pawns that he has set up would begin moving irrationally, not according to plan, as Yuuichi has already put his Devil tongue to use. Yuuichi would have, no doubt, noticed the probing and movement of the social circles, and began spreading his own strategy. However, where they would differ, would be that Yuuichi would most likely NOT focus on information gathering, but setting up a trap immediately. Now, Kiyotaka, being the cautious strategist he is, would most likely notice A TRAP. Maybe not the nature of said trap, but he would notica A trap, and avoid it fairly well. Now, i think there would have most likely been a second player, that Yuuichi would have placed, where in avoiding said trap, the target would step into another trap, and thus be revealed anyway. And he would set it up in a way, where escape is doubtful, meaning that Kiyotaka would be revealed regardless. Now, Kiyotaka would have anticipated this, and with no real escape, he would pick the two, which would be more beneficial to him, as well as turning the trap against Yuuichi, making him reveal himself as well. Now they would both be, generally on equal footing, moving their pieces around the table. Irrational emotions vs Logical reasoning. I think the manipulations would be long, hard and fairly brital. Many relationships would be made and broken, and depending on the setting, many debts and expulsions would be made. BUt ultimately I think it would become a 1 on 1 situation. At least on the surface.
And when it's a 1 on 1, Kiyotaka would ''win'', and that is due to his apathy and logical reasoning. Yuuichi really wouldn't be able to manipulate him directly and violence also wouldn't be an option, as Kiyotaka is simply better trained. Thus, in a hard fought battle, Yuuichi would lose, and admit defeat... Kiyotaka wins!
Is what I would say, but most likely Yuuichi had been building something from the very beginning. Early on he would have judged, that he couldn't have beaten him 1 on 1, so he wouoold have also planned a counter measure against him in case of a situation like this. As well as after seeing, how the pieces are being moved, he would have adapted his strategy to that and placed his own in ways that would be ultimately beneficial, all the while adding chaose on top of that. Up until his countermeasure would be made, And thus he would confront Kiyotaka, and lose the battle. But in losing a battle, he would win the overall war! It would most likely end with Yuuichi dissing Kiyotaka with the most devilish grin, while Kiyotaka would think that he has found someone who could beat him... but it's a shame that that someone was such an asshole!
IN conclusion, even though there are still many MANY aspects to take into consideration, such as the setting, the motivation of the conflict, as well as who are the pieces that are being moved, I think that generally, while Ayanokouji Kiyotaka would Win The Battle, Katagiri Yuuichi would Win The War! You can say what you will about it, but I am a fan of both series, and while both are extremely competent strategists, Yuuichi's plans have more finesse and way more layers that Kiyotaka's. BUt that's just my opinion.
I'd love to read your versions!

Actually a lot classroom of the elite novel readers hates the anime adaptation. Because in Light novel his monologue has a lot more emotions. He actually both unable to express his emotions through his face and sociopath when he is in threat(some anime watchers confused when he has more emotions in novel because anime faithfully adapted his resting bitch face) . Remember when he starts showing his sociopath side? It was after Chabashira Sae blackmailing him to cooperate and bring the D class to rise in A class. If he is left alone he probably mostly do his own thing but sometimes help the class because he wanted to have enough money for himself like Koenji.

Yuichi unlike Ayanokoji has charisma, is offensive, is not held by morals, is not lazy, and knows how to approach people, Ayanokoji is too passive, has no charisma, doesn't approach and just waits out his strategies, it took allot of time to fill out the traitor, but Yuichi fill out the traitor in one day. It took allot to destroy Ryuen but Yuichi destroyed a gang leader in 2 episodes.
It is their strategies that makes Yuichi a bad fit, also Yuichi is a murder so he will get what he wants no matter what.

He also never struggles, I may be paraphrasing but he once said this “even when at my weakest, no one can beat me”.
