T7 ftw I am a happy owner of a 2022 Ténéré. I'm 1,8m tall and yes, it is a tall top heavy bike but for most who own it, as in my case, is The motorcycle. I got my licence last year in one week I got my T7. Since then I've rode over 8000 km and I cannot be more happier with the connection I have with this machine. All the best to Pavlin, we thank you for your content! Numai bine. Asfalt uscat!
My friend is 160cm . He dropped the bike 3 times in a single day. 2 times are emergency stops and lost the balance. one time is reaching the ground too slow. That is insane but he is still learning to ride this bike more safely.
@@遊戲玩家-l4k i suggest he starts practicing 10min every day with the bike parked foot movements right to left. He will get used to the weight and balance much more easy. Cheers mate
I commented some weeks ago on Pavlin's channel on a video ( video was about if he would change his bike and with what) that the new Transalp is launched. I never thought i will be seeing you two bringing these awsome bikes together. Both of you are in my top 3 motorcycle youtubers, many thanks for everything and keep it up. Wish you and Pavlin a long and happy life.
Hello, can you tell me how are you satisfied with the quick-shifter? I bought my Transalp 10 days ago and today went to the dealer to order Knuckle guards, main stand, quick-shifter, 12V Socket and wind deflector kit. Can't wait to ride it with the quick-shifter
Hello, I've mentioned about the QS in the previous video: th-cam.com/video/G9490nbiGDQ/w-d-xo.html It's just amazing and addictive, it works like magic. I personally use it on HARD option (you can check the install video tutorial for more information).
Love the Tenere, but same problem for me, too high, too top heavy. I think the Transalp is a good compromise, especially if you want better road performance, and power. Would certainly consider a Transalp.
@@IdealBike well yes. Lots of things possible with upgrades. Even the T7 has less capable suspension from the factory, but for most riders the factory has provided the optimum solution. Like you said, depends on your skill level, and intended use. Both bikes, from factory, are more than enough, for the majority of us, without going into complicated, and expensive mods.
@@pushtostart1377 To be honest, the KTM 890 Adventure standard is the ideal bike, with everything you could wish for, including the low seat, 840mm. Pity the Japanese manufacturers are incapable, or unwilling, to emulate this design, and spec. My height is 170 cm, but what counts is your inseam. Mine is 788 mm, or just over 31 inches. Just enough for the Kawasaki 650 Versys that had a seat height of 840mm, wet weight of 217 kg. The KTM has wet weight of 212 kg, but carries it lower, also, for seat height the same at 840mm in lower position. Why can't the Japanese make a bike like the KTM 890 Adventure, that has adjustable seat heights, 200mm suspension travel, tubeless tires, cruise control, the list goes on.
I've been considering the Transalp as a replacement for my Tenere which I mainly ride off road. It looks like a great bike BUT cleaning the air filter involves disassembling half the bike whereas on the Tenere its readily accessible under the seat. I can't be pulling the bike apart each time I ride off road in dusty conditions. What a pity !
Normally the air filter it should be serviced at about 24K but depends on the riding conditions. It's a 1h - 2h job at least depends on your mechanical skills
the yamaha tenere basically a large enduro / motocross bike, it is more rugged and offroad oriented bike, transalp in other hand, i guess is more road bike friendy and the seat height is good for smaller rider 6ft and below, personaly when i drive the tenere, kinda feel its kinda tall for me, im 6ft tall 183cm, and drive like a enduro feels like enduro, not an adventure bike,
thx for the review , i think i will feel better off road with tenere and we all know is capability off road (in good hand^^) , but for long drive on road and if the off road is more country road than anything , a transalp is probably more comfy .. ADV bike are a bit weak for off road anyway, that is enduro job, but i think the tenere can still do a good job off road
Both are amazing bikes, I would adjust the bike choice according to rider height / weight first and second to rider needs (more difficult off-road choose Tenere, if you want casual Off-road plus amazing on road and fuel efficient then Transalp it's a better choice)
Thanks, nice Video. I am still not sure if i should buy the T700 or the Transalp, wich is coming in November here in Thailand to the dealers. I guess the Transalp would be much better when riding with my wife but i really like the looks and the Technic of the T700. I had a Yamaha XT500 for 35 years and i was loving this bike. Hard decision, even when the Transalp is much cheaper here as the Tenere
@@IdealBike thanks mate, actually i am having a couple of other bikes for offroad, like the CRF250L or the CRF300L both great bikes i dont want to miss anymore. I think i am going for the Transalp and thx for answer. I been in Romania when i was a kid in Poiana Brasov for skiing, was the first and last time, but the nature looks stunning.
i just picked up my transalp 750 today. I got the double standard fitted, when i put it on theres alot of movement left to right, do u know if this is normal or did the garage not tighten it enough?
@@IdealBike Center stand sorry, I went back to the garage, apparantly theres a recall on a number of them and I have a 'bad' one, im advised not to use it for now they made a claim about it and now i need to wait to see how honda wants to resolve it. Usually a motorcycle is stable and secure on its center stand, mine seems to be loose and just wobbles from left to right making it very unstable.
Glad you mentioned, I haven't mount it yet, mine haven't even arrived for some time, perhaps this could be the case. I'll come back with my experience, greetings 👍
@@IdealBike My dealership told me that there was a manufacturing problem and they stopped supplying them for a while and the new ones are all in backorder. The one u will get will i think be a good one, i ordered my parts a few months ago and those were bad :(. wait and hope honda offers a solution, i just want a new good one :D
Loved the Transalp. I can't pass the fact that the skid plate on the transalp looks like a diaper. Honda have to do better then that (at least make it black), otherwise, I'd look for a third party one
Indeed, buy each bike has it's advantages and disadvantages. Think about that : with only 800 EUR you can make a real suspension upgrade for the Transalp, things can change. That always depends on your riding skills.

Honda TRANSALP 2023 vs Yahama TENERE 700 - Walkaround Comparison
A Tenere is nearly as rare as an honest politician in this part of the world.
Hehe, nicely described
Daca ai vazut altundeva un politician cinstit poate ne spui si cum arata yeti
T7 ftw

Pavlin's made his bike for Zombie Apocalypse🤘. Arthur I am still waiting for exactly ground clearance with skid plate on.
Main drawback for me, clearance seems too low for trails in my area.
Love the Tenere, but same problem for me, too high, too top heavy. I think the Transalp is a good compromise, especially if you want better road performance, and power. Would certainly consider a Transalp.
There is also an option for springs upgrade that can make Transalp a much capable bike off-road.

Does the muffler mount hit the rear tire on full compression of rear shock?

For sure! We've started quite late around 14:00 due to Pavlin's arrival time. Next time surely we can do it earlier. Greetings 👌
Tenere looks loads better
Let's nit exagerate 😊 it's a nice machine. Still Transalp with some basic mods can be quite appealing
Many thanks !
Thank you 👍

The skidplate it's replaced with Hepco-becker
the suspension on the transalp compared to the T7 looks like chopsticks
Keep in mind that it was changed for the Tenere...wait to compare with same suspension changed on mine soon
What was changed on the Tenere? The valving/internals or the entire fork with a different mm?
The Transalp has 41mm and T7 43mm.

Transalp can do also off-road with better springs, Pavlin had new springs anyway.

Somehow, it's not the best choice. Still it makes good light during the night and it looks better on on the night time
My personal opinion as it concerns the design is that tenere is to ugly..
It's a matter of personal taste, I will say that Transalp looks better. Now let's see what bike it's more reliable.
