I dont like kerala food. I mean we all eat same way keralites and srilankan tamils eat. But we have changed it in tamilnadu. Everything milder version. i used to go to CRL ( cochin refinaries) for work. So i ate once or twice kerala style food and inside CRL. it was terrible. Also in chennai. May be i was not into food but more of filling stomach. One of big issue in cochin was i could not find any biriyani , all i find was north indian style food easily. May be its changed now. 32 years ago i visited cochin.
I am from Hyderabad and I was thinking Hyderabadi food is the only best food in the world. However, after watching this now I want to go kerala right away from Canada and taste these tastiest curries. Especially the pepper chicken and fish curries❤
Kerala food is incredibly tasty, complex, sophisticated and layered in their making. The ingredients, process, preparation and serving is intense and detailed. Needs knowledge, preparation understanding and fresh ingredients. This is why it’s hard to get good Kerala food outside of Kerala of that quality. It exists, but doesn’t compare with the authentic Kerala food.
Kerala cuisine ranks like on the top , even the vegetarian meals are delicious. Puttu , kadala , stew . Roast. Simple dishes but it tastes so incredibly good. The best part is the red warm water beginning of the meal . Another blockbuster from Krupal sir & his team .
Agree, its one of the best , no doubt! Having said, you need to develop a taste for some of the dishes like Puttu & Kadala., foreigners/non-mallus may not enjoy as much as we do when they have it for the first time.
@@drraghumenon The puttu & kadala in its simplicity needs a twist to make it delicious and a lasting memory for foreigners. I have witnessed foreigners enjoying the dish in Kerala and other places.
Good morning dear Kripal - Oh so you are Kochi . I love Kerala any day . In fact for my honeymoon several decades ago we travelled across Kerala and immediately fell in love with Kerala and also their awesome food 💯💯💯 So sweet of the Cherians to invite you to Kochi 👍 I agree , nothing to beat a Banana leaf dining experience. Good history behind the Kappa Pulliku. Never tried yellow fish tuna . Looks like you indeed started on a fiery note with the fish curry . In fact the Idiappam and Veg stew is a staple diet in my house . Kadala curry is my favourite. I like to have it with the Egg Aapam . This looks like an Onam Sadya . Thoran , Aviyal , Kootu curry , Boiled brown rice , Meal Sambhar and pepper Chicken 🍗. Mouth watering indeed 👍 I was just wondering as to where is the Kaalan and there it comes . The best part is that you can mix and match . So pepper chicken is a clear hit 💯💯💯 The prawns Maanga curry is unique ( possibly I would have tasted it just once ) . Yes I have had Veg fish curry at my friends place ( Kovakkai ) and it also goes well with Dosa . Woohoo Paladai Payasam and Chakka Payasam . Though I don’t have a sweet tooth I love these two Payasams 😋😋😋 Oh wow you threw in a massive surprise by revealing that almost all the dishes are packaged food ( Tasty Nibbles) without any preservatives and the shelf life is 18 months . So it’s a mix of culinary experience and science 💯💯💯👍👍👍 Thoroughly enjoyed this fabulous vlog and experience. Eagerly awaiting the next vlog on the visit to the Tasty Nibbles factory. Should be extremely interesting 👍👍 Thanks dear Kripal for this vlog . Loads of love and respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️ Take care , Stay healthy and have a wonderful weekend. God bless 👍
Hi Rajesh, yes, this was an absolute treat of a Kerala meal, especially given the science and convenience that goes into it, making the cuisine of Kerala available to anyone anywhere. The next episode is interesting as well, I was blown away by what I so, so do stay tuned. Have a great weekend. Cheers!
Kerala coastal area non veg curries, Tamil Nadu madurai , Karnataka udipi side, Andhra godavari district have one of the best food items in whole of india.
The contrast between the impeccable manners of the host and hostess and the garrulous guest , Mr. Kripal Amanna, is so stark. Three cheers to Mr and Mrs Cherian for their gracious ways and their more than generous hospitality!
Trust me i visited Wayanad and Kochi last year, the best part in Kochi is the biryani which was fantastic...❤❤❤ the place, food, hygiene I have never seen anywhere this....
Placed my order right away :))... Have tried them before at a friends place and couldn't believe they were from a packet.. Keep up the good work Mr.Cherian and team.. Thanks and keep up the good work Mr.Ammana..
I am a regular at ordering from this brand on Amazon n love their Tuna s and chicken chettinad 👌 i think i started using their products after watching Ashish Vidyarthi vlog ( if i remember correctly )
You know you have Kripal Amanna’s approval only if you hear a “Ummm” from his mouth after he eats a morsel. That Ummm sound implies he’s given the food a five star rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 👏👌👍👍👍
It would be so nice the person who cooked and served that food, could have spoken about the preparation of the food also sitting with you all and having food and talking about the food !! Let's make a change !!
Krupal ji, This program of yours was good , anyways it is your channel. But appears to be an endorsement. If you covered his entrepreneurial journey of the host it would be much better.
Serving on such banana leaf has got something scientific too when it comes to serving of food in Kerala. It's like the taste buds of tongue.Starts from salty(tip of the tongue taste buds), sweet, spicy (center part of taste buds) and so on are served in banana leaf.
Hello Sir, I love your vlogs. Sir I am going on a road to different cities in Karnatak. Is there a way I can map all the restaurants you visited at one place.
I defy that.... we cant cook all these without knowing the culinary expertise . Packeted food can't give us the authentic taste of Kerala cuisine. Speaking from personal experience and I happen to be a good cook myself, a tamilian.
Thanks Mr Kripal for doing a video on packaged food.Boon for people who can't spend much time in the kitchen. Are these products available online and outside Kerala?
Its a pleasent supprise to know its a ready to eat food. I am Bengali and my mouth is watering when I saw those food items and I wonder if I ever get the chance to eat those foods, now I am so happy to know those are the ready to eat foods and I can make them easily in my Bengali home kitchen.
All looks yummy. Great episode! Host uncle's face reaction is bit uncomfortable (not so welcoming gesture), reminded of having meal in the dining table at my strict uncle's home during child hood days.
He may be of little serious demeanor 🤔. Moreover, not everybody is comfortable when somebody Infront of them is recording video of eating 😀! Nevertheless, great episode, food looks so yummy (though I am a veg) and beautiful house 👋
17:43 This is the one thing that I personally disagree with Tasty Nibbles... They have a good range of products, but its really misleading to say that you can "make dishes in minutes" when all that you are doing with their products (except very few like the payasam mixes) is to reheat them and serve... Its like buying take away from restaurant and then saying that you made the food while serving...

Me being a keralite watching from Delhi, feeling all nostalgic and emotional.Going home during holidays to this cuisine is what motivates me.
It's truly a superpower if you can eat any curry from a banana leaf with a full sleeve kurta/shirt on. Keep rocking brother! 😃
Hat's off to the love you have on Namma Karnataka 💛❤️
The Cherians are pioneers. They have made it possible to celebrate Onam with a sadya wherever you find yourself on planet earth.
👍🙏

Cherian Sir So calm ❤
Kerala's beautiful home, hospitable people and very tasty Kerala food.
क्या बात है 👌👌जय महाराष्ट्र 🙏🙏
❤Jai Kerala ❤
Looks like an absolute Kerala food treat 👍😍
Yes, it certainly was.
Each episode makes me grateful for internet and people like Mr. Amman going to places exploring food with cultural heritage. 🙏🏾✨
What a beautiful way of presentation of food very authentic.
The only thing missing here is probably the sense of humour.

It would have been wonderful if the Cherians' were given more time on air, they must have so many anecdotes to share.
Uncle finally started smiling when Kripal sir started talking about his company at 17:45 😊
The food in Kerala is quite similar to some of the food you get on the southern tip of Sri Lanka. Interesting .
Because there are cultural linkages between both these regions that dates back to centuries
How do you mean exactly?
Food in a jiffy...kudos Tasty Nibbles❤
Kerala coastal area non veg curries, Tamil Nadu madurai , Karnataka udipi side, Andhra godavari district have one of the best food items in whole of india.
Kochi is always classic with its people and food.

This is probably the longest ad one would see in their lives.
Kerala houses and food 👌🏻👌🏻

Loved the suave with which you go. Such grace....
Lovely house lovely food ❤
Since you are in Kochi, please visit Bharat Hotel, a vegetarian hotel for lunch it is in Trichur sir
There are excellent vegetarian restaurants in Kochi, like Brindavan & Subhiksha which are as good, or even better than Bharat of Thrissur.
I am a regular at ordering from this brand on Amazon n love their Tuna s and chicken chettinad 👌 i think i started using their products after watching Ashish Vidyarthi vlog ( if i remember correctly )
I’m craving for all this 😋

It is specifically about endorsement for the products, not the host's journey as entrepreneur.

Amazing Video #FoodLoversTV
All looks yummy. Great episode!
Host uncle's face reaction is bit uncomfortable (not so welcoming gesture), reminded of having meal in the dining table at my strict uncle's home during child hood days.
