Oh my goodness ….Manna is on a roll in Kochi ….great going…the food at Grand is an absolute treat for Manna…until the next time, take care, stay safe, stay strong and Happy eating sea food 🥘
For a long time, I was a regular here when I used to come down from Mumbai to meet my folks every year. Always ended up ordering the Karimeen and Pothu Irachchi.
I like the way you end the video by thanking head chef “enjoy the food is under statement “the energy .the excitement when ever you enters in kitchen and the way you shown respect to head chef keeping you’re self humble and allowing him to open up, Thanks for the video and your vocabulary
We are really enjoying this . For the last 14 years we have visited Kochi. We stay at Brunton boatyard but always eat at The Grand at least once each trip.
I really loved ur attitude and guts to eat pothirachi considering most of the targetted audience of ur channel is from Bengaluru where beef is considered a taboo. You had the courage to eat and show this in ur video. For my bangalore friends , we eat pothirachi which is buffalo meat and not cow meat in kerala
Kripal you are Rocking keep up the good work one small request I have heard and seen in One of your video where you tasted Kashmiri Food there that lady said kashmiri chilli was brought from Byadagi so please whoever says kashmiri chilli you pronounce it as Byadagi in your videos.
Excellent coverage kripal. Keep up the good work. I see hotel using nonstick with the coating gone. Hope hotel take cognisance if the health issues it could lead to. If it is iron tawa it's still fine. As it is filmed at 8.28 in this video.
Good afternoon dear Kripal - Oh wow it’s the Grand Hotel review . I have been fortunate to visit this restaurant with my , seafood lovers , friends . A huge shout out to my friend Mathew & Ramani . As usual the preview of your vlogs itself is always so good that it helps build one’s appetite 😀 As usual the preparation & presentation of the dishes is wonderful to watch and special in this case the Pollichathu Karimeen . Kudos to the Senior Management for providing a wonderful work environment for their staff and department heads that they are able to retain them for 2 decades or more 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Now to watch & listen to your review . Wow the number of dishes are awesome ; Kerala Paratha , Tiger Prawns in a chutney, Allepy fish with raw mango , Brown Rice and the show stopper - Pollichathu Karimeen 👌👌 As expected you thoroughly enjoyed the PK 👌👌 I prefer a fresh water fish over sea water fish 🐟. The PK masala has to be good as it’s so many complementary ingredients that amps up the Karimeen 👌 Haven’t tried the Tiger prawns in this establishment. So well articulated and differentiated between the PKM & TP 💯💯💯 When you taste such wonderful and decadent dishes , how do you take care of your Intermittent Fasting ?? . The condiments like the chutneys is excellent. It would be a delectable combo of the Brown Rice along with the Allepy fish curry . Mouth watering 😋😋 When you mention button onions , is it the shallots you are referring? You could have also have some papdam on your rice with gravy as it would provide you an extra crunch . I commented a tad soon and in the next frame you had the papadam with the Rice & Fish gravy . So happy that you thoroughly enjoyed this fare 💯💯💯 I also thoroughly enjoyed every frame of the vlog . Now it’s time for lunch with my dad . You also take care & stay blessed. Loads of love & respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
Noticed how you side lined the star in the dish... The beef fry.. You immediately confirmed it as "pothirachi"... I hope you enjoyed it off the camera....
the amount of times Kripal goes "ummmmmmmmmmm...." speaks more than his regularly scheduled programming of TOEFL/IELTS that happens to showcase excellent food!
Sir even my english teacher didn't have such a rich vocabulary when compared with you. Have to google for word meanings every minute to understand your review completely😂😂🤣.
Kripal , If you are planning to review eat beef dish in a particular episode , please warn the viewers in advance , so those who don't want to see that can skip that episode.
Its buff (poth irachi) not beef. Go to Hindu Nepal, that is their favorite food.. Dont come here and blabber something if you dont know anything.. Sheer ignorance.

@@shamdoundyakhed5314 okay I see what you mean. Maybe they use that word because they fry it at first before putting it into the leaf. Maybe they could use a better name for the dish

Do u skip all the English movies and videos where they show eating beef?
I agree with you Sir, because many viewers are from Hindu community where they don't go along right with B**f dishes.
Its buff (poth irachi) not beef.

Polichadu means poached.
Shallow fried or seared, not poached
If you cover it then food is steamed not shallow fried.

@@johneli495 I just like the deep fried part, never liked it after it was covered and cooked again, made the flesh too soft and strong fish aroma.
JAI Sriram ..
Really very Sad to seen you in Beef Restaurants Sir Jai Shree Ram Jai Hind Jai Barath 🇮🇳🚩i skipped this video after heard the Beef Name
Can anyone decide who has to visit which restaurant?

Stop eating ice creams as it has gelatin, or for that matter your capsules , all of which has derivatives from beef
Bye
