- This is an acoustic version of a song co-written by Morrissey and Mark Nevin. Driving Your Girlfriend Home first appeared on 1991's Kill Uncle album and when Moz formed a proper band for touring that record, we played this song throughout. The whole Kill Uncle album is so underated, but it’s one of Morrissey’s best in great part because of the wonderful instrumentation :)

There is a snippet of the live version of this song, with guitar wailing in the background, the most beautiful dreamy live version ever, as Morrissey was singing he got sacked by a fan and it got cut out.. very please to hear another version of it here. Alain you are my hero. Almost got to see you in Vegas House of Blues many years ago but you injured your back and the show was canceled.
