Make Himmi engine larger, bike becomes heavier and defeats the purpose in the off road, especially in the dirt.
Re-tune the existing 411 cc engine for more hp, you have to shorten the stroke size, which reduces it's tractability at low rpm - again defeats the purpose.
This 411 cc engine was a brand new one. Power/torque must have been achieved considering a wide range of buyers. From noob offroaders to experts. A frantic engine is not suitable for newbies and it loses the much needed low end grunt.

I love the REH, would like a power tweak but it does everything well. If the interceptor is for nonconforming conformists, the Himalayan is for conforming 'nonconformists'. 😄

After test riding an interceptor.. was blown away by how incredible it is. Un-believable! They certainly both have their strengths.

Absolutely! The interceptor has one of the best engines that Royal Enfield has developed till date..
Both the motorcycles have different characters and are beautiful in their own way..
