Just went and got mine 4 weeks ago. I am loving it. So fuel efficient! I love the drive and the sports mode! If you want a performance car, go get something else.
@@mhsab6171 I get 57-65 mpg on motorway depending on how I drive and 47-55 mpg in city again depending on how I drive. The car really makes you go into hybrid zen mode of driving
"The two outputs I mentioned are never delivered at the same time" - actually they are under some circumstances such as full throttle and periodically throughout normal driving, but it's completely seamless, and of course it can only do it as long as there is battery power to do so. Most driving above 30mph is done on engine power though at least on the gen 3 HSD system.
I have been a Toyota owner for a while now but I’m definitely considering one of these as my next car the facelift makes it look so much more pleasing to the eye

Hi Mark, Japanese brands are more reliable with build quality than you may think. Check out our reliability survey of Lexus: www.osv.ltd.uk/how-reliable-are-lexus/
Hi, I have a had a Lexus CT for just over a year (brand new) and i honestly would not recommend for these reasons: The boot is probably one of the smallest i have ever seen and forget it if you are a family. The paintwork (mine is black) is very thin and permanently marks easily. The doors sound like van doors when they shut. The infotainment/sat nav is so bad that i do not use it. You have to leave the USB port cover open as it will not close with a cable plugged in. The fuel economy is not that great. I have had issue with the tyre pressure sensors/road sign reading cameras. The engine is very harsh. To be fare the interior build quality is very good. To sum up this car is very dated with what is available with other manufacturers.
Why nobody talks about how the sensor future and back mirror camera or total mileage be for full up gas so we know . Range of the car could go. Your video is same as hundreds of channels video maker. I wish one person make small thing Nobody makes video. If you seen one you seen all. What types of packages and options you must’ve too
Did we not get this version in the states? The interior screen is larger, the taillights are different..etc. The last year for us was 2017, but this definitely look more refined than the last model we got in the US for the ct200h.. You have the touchpad as well, we have the stupid mouse thing. Steering wheel also has more buttons on it than ours...
I did that with a 2015 for a year. It was a great match for it. Handles well on the bumps. 40 mpg winter 43 mpg summer actual figures for me with lots of idling. Good in the snow. Best part is literally no fatigue from the seat after 8 hours.
Ive never managed more than about 50mpg out of one of these, even on long journeys. As for a thrashy CVT, my goodness dont they understand that revs climb when accelerating in a CVT and that its not always high revs if driven properly ?
2 years ago I was looking to buy this car, it suited my requirements. However after some research I found out that theft of the exhaust catalytic converter were rife in this car, as in the Prius and Auris - same platform. A corolla 2.0 hybrid is what I'm looking to get now.

This is a car reviewers love to hate. Even in this review...well...the handling is great, not subpar. The acceleration is the weakness. And the CVT drone is less than ideal. No mention here of sport mode, the rigid frame, the horizontal dampers, the large wheels, the low center of gravity with the added benefit of the batteries over the rear axle, the even weight distribution, etc.
Ive never heard ANY CVT drone in ANY car ? I also have good hearing. Whats wrong with people ? Do you all cut and paste the same thing because someone else has heard some noise that doesnt actually exist ? The noise you hear is the ENGINE as revs increase !!!
This thing isn’t comparable to BMWs, VWs or Mercedes counterparts. But if you just want a luxury hatchback that is reliable and cheap to run, this is the answer. If you want something more thrilling then this hatchback isn’t for you.
Many thanks for the review. How would you rate the firmness of the drive and level of quietness in the 2018 model? I have the 2016 model. Firm at times and a bit noisy on some occasions but majority of the times it's perfect . Many thanks.
Mushtaq Shah he didn’t say anything no chances or it did compared to 2017 model. What is safety issued changed. Not one things we could used. Also I cannot find 2018 model information. What you think 🤔
Mine has radar adaptive cruise control, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane detection and automatic steering in case I depart from lane, and front and rear parking sensors with a rear camera, road sign detection and alerts if you speed All very reliable
No. Between 73 mpg and 88 mpg according to the narrator in the video. Hybrids get very good mileage. I got 68.1mpg out of a tankful (641 miles), last summer, in a 2008 Prius Tspirit Hybrid!
I have a 2019 model and not so impressed. The doors sound like van doors when you open and shut. I am not convinced about the fuel economy. The ride is harsh with a lot of road noise and the boot is tiny. On a plus note the interior build quality is faultless though a bit dated
Great to get feedback from an owner 👌 sorry to hear your not so happy with the CT200. Feel free to contact us to find something that's right for you www.osv.ltd.uk/contact-us/

Interesting comment. Channels allow comments from the general public for fun, feedback and interest. They dont have time to reply to everyones comments, thats always been the case. If you dont care about the reviewers opinion, why watch the video ? Good day to you. Stay happy.
Best "fair" review on the Ct200h, you have gained a subscriber, thank you.

You buy build quality with Lexus/ Toyota. Germans have the badges, but they just don't have the quality you get with the Japanese

This is NOT the updated model. The giveaway is the daytime running lights are now above the headlights.
Sofala It is, look at the rear lights. Here in the UK, only models with the Premium Pack get the new headlights (which most buyers are opting for).

Great review.
Why doesn't this car have the updated headlights that's strange
Wait, no parcel shelf in the boot?
Does that unit came with cassette player along with a CD player head unit? I am wondering because the view was not close enough
Sadly not, Fauzan

Why would anyone buy a car they are not impressed with?
Yes the ride is harsh and the interior buzzes and rattles, even on brand new examples. Shocking.
How can ANYONE drive in a jacket like that? Being truly comfortable is a part of safer driving.
Being "comfortable" is individual preference
How can anyone post such a disrespectful comment ? Would you like the presenter to make personal comments about you and your dress sense ?
I was thinking ,I like his jacket where did he get it from
