The bellroy buttons will NOT get softer in time. Plus, the more you put on and take off the case, the leather layer will slowly degrade and peel off, especially at the corners. Edit: I see many agree with staying away from Bellroy.
I've had the Pixel 9 Pro XL for a week now and I've tried like 6 different cases already 😂 I've returned multiple since Amazon has all the choices and has free returns, I've only kept one case and that's the Spigen Liquid Air case, it's the clear champion! It has the best protection and it's grippy so you pretty much will never drop the case anyways. 😂 I've had the liquid air on every Pixel since the Pixel 4XL 🔥
Can't rate bellroy cases. I had one for my 7a and it lasted a few weeks before the leather ripped. They claim warranty but offered me 10% off to buy another
I cannot recommend the Bellroy case. It is not compatible with qi2 wireless chargers while the much cheaper spigen clear case works perfectly despite having a much weaker magnet array, which is also terrible.
I went with the Hazel Google 9 pro XL case. It makes the phone look at feel very premium. I don't use magnetic accessories. So no magnet want an issue for me
Big fan of the Mous Limitless and the Casetify Impact. Both feel like they could survive the phone falling off the roof of your car, but the casetify does a better job of preserving the flat sides of the phone. Limitless looks good enough for formal occasions, and the Casetify for everything else.
I can't order a dbrand case, my order won't process. They are on backorder anyway but I can't even process the order to get on a wait-list and they say 5-10 days response time for customer service. Wtf
I really can't reccomend Bellroy cases. If you really want one, just stick to black. The case feels great, but if you get any color other than black the colored leather will wear away to the black leather underneath over time. It comes off especially easy with alcohol (if you work in healthcare like me that's a massive issue).
@1:17 magnets for what exactly? If your trying to put magnets on for a car holder or something they cost like $4.99 for a set of 5. Am I missing anything?
I had the same experience. It creaked whenever I held my phone. Never had this issue before with this case. I returned it and got something similar from a company I've not heard of and it's much better and cost half as much.
Spigen liquid air is the one you should buy, the clear one I've returned to Amazon because of the squishy noises it makes, Spigen is always perfect so I'm surprised they have a faulty clear case (for the first time ever)
awesome I would like to see a Mous limitless vs casetify vs rhinoshield vs magbak vs ToRRAS 360°Spin Magnetic Stand too bad there are not cases that offer color buttons for the 9pro hopefully magback does it

My favorite case is the Peak Design Everyday case.
The bellroy buttons will NOT get softer in time. Plus, the more you put on and take off the case, the leather layer will slowly degrade and peel off, especially at the corners.
Edit: I see many agree with staying away from Bellroy.
Mous cases are so overpriced lmao.
Very overpriced 😢
Spigen are the best value for money. It's crazy how overpriced mous is.
They get discounted frequently but still too much
I've had the Pixel 9 Pro XL for a week now and I've tried like 6 different cases already 😂

I've had the liquid air on every Pixel since the Pixel 4XL 🔥
The liquid air has been my favorite so far too but I still find it super slippery
Is this the best case scenario?
Torras for that orange power button color pop like Pixels of old. Also great protection and snug fit.
Can't rate bellroy cases. I had one for my 7a and it lasted a few weeks before the leather ripped. They claim warranty but offered me 10% off to buy another
same here, bellroy case for pixel 7. The leather turns black & peeled after 1 week only
I cannot recommend the Bellroy case. It is not compatible with qi2 wireless chargers while the much cheaper spigen clear case works perfectly despite having a much weaker magnet array, which is also terrible.
Same, such a shame too cause I really like the Bellroy leather cases. I had one on my 8 Pro too and loved it. Will be returning mine for the 9 Pro.
I went with the Hazel Google 9 pro XL case. It makes the phone look at feel very premium. I don't use magnetic accessories. So no magnet want an issue for me

You guys should cover the POETIC cases, offering OtterBox level protection for a quarter the price!
Spigen liquid air for my past two phones. Would take a lot to convince me to buy another case
Yes! Another fellow man of culture! The liquid air is literally perfection, using it on my Pixel 9 Pro XL right now. 🔥😍
@@enam9000 I'm waiting for my pixel 9 pro, should be here on the 25th!
Do the covers with magnets in them work with the pixel stand 2? I read somewhere that somebodys pixel wouldn't charge with a magnet cover on.
Would like to know the Same thing
Is it difficult to keep the Google silicone case clean?
How do the cyrill, Spigen hybrid and casetify cases compare in thickness and protection would you say?
Does the Google case feel thick? Like compared to an Apple silicone case? it looks thick
Spigen Rugged Armor and Spigen Clear case. Pitaka as well.
I can't order a dbrand case, my order won't process. They are on backorder anyway but I can't even process the order to get on a wait-list and they say 5-10 days response time for customer service. Wtf
Ringke for me. All the rest are just over priced.
I'm undecided on the dbrand grip case. Not sure if it's too thick for the 9Pro XL. If anyone has it please let me know what you think.
No mention of the Tech21 case? Have been using their protection for years on my phones and laptops.
No kerf case? its not good enough or not worth checking?
Mous cases are ugly and Expensive and I won't support Casetify but otherwise, nice list. Very Helpful
Id be down for the Belroy case but I heard they butchered the case cutouts on the bottom
What about nillkin super frosted? They are cheap and looks great. Has saved my pixel 7 from so many drops over the past two years.
Dbrand or mous??????
UAG cases are the best ones, by far
The Caseology Athlex looks like tacky, worn-out padding in a room in an insane asylum
It's one of the most pleasing cases to hold ever. Like a much thinner Otterbox. I love the one on my 7 Pro.
Does anyone know if the Mous case for the Pixel 9 fits the Pixel 9 Pro???
As long as the camerabump isn't covered, cases are interchangable between 9 and 9 Pro. Afaik, the Pixels 9 and Pro have the same measurements.
Another proof that mouse case got the "iPhone hype" rated than going real with weak magnets and peeling problems
"Glass is glass and glass breaks."

there's no way a case that's worth 69 cents should cost 69 dollars
I really can't reccomend Bellroy cases. If you really want one, just stick to black. The case feels great, but if you get any color other than black the colored leather will wear away to the black leather underneath over time. It comes off especially easy with alcohol (if you work in healthcare like me that's a massive issue).
at least one that has a main camera cover should be included in the review
@1:17 magnets for what exactly? If your trying to put magnets on for a car holder or something they cost like $4.99 for a set of 5. Am I missing anything?
Qi
Anyone have issues with magsafe charging?
Spigen Enzo hands down.
Carved case got snubbed
Excellent reviews! At 6:13, though, it looks like you're showing the Caseology Parallax, not the Nano Pop. 🫥
The Spigen ultra hybrid, clear, fits very poorly on my 9 pro XL
I had the same experience. It creaked whenever I held my phone. Never had this issue before with this case. I returned it and got something similar from a company I've not heard of and it's much better and cost half as much.
I've only ever used Spigen since Nexus days
Spigen liquid air is the one you should buy, the clear one I've returned to Amazon because of the squishy noises it makes, Spigen is always perfect so I'm surprised they have a faulty clear case (for the first time ever)
awesome I would like to see a Mous limitless vs casetify vs rhinoshield vs magbak vs ToRRAS 360°Spin Magnetic Stand

Castify still copies Jerry
