Mixer here......I am absolutely in love with this song. It's just really catchy and all..Ally belted out those notes and I heard Camila and Lauren and Mani, but I missed Dinah. Good job girls, I love it.
The issue isn't that Camila gets too many solos, the issue is that she's always the one leading the chorus. She's always the one who gets the main harmony, the stepping stool for the other members. Lauren & Normani do the lower harmony, you can hear Lauren in the chorus of Going Nowhere. But Camila is leading the chorus, so it sounds like she gets more than the rest of them. If Camila didn't lead the chorus so often, like in this song as well, you wouldn't think she sang so much.
Y'all this song is such a bop and Y'all it just make us want to dance and sing long to it. My favorite of the song is when Ally singing that high note really good. I love 5h so much there voice's sounds so beautifully together. Love fan Samiyah ❤❤😍😍

so sad dinah doesn't have a solo :( before i became an harmonizer, i discover this girls from the cover of boyce avenue mirrors, dinah's voice is the one that attracts me the most and after that i start listening to their songs and became an harmonizer. i love them all, but i think she deserves it.
This song peaked at #3 on the iTunes chart, which is the highest the girls have been! So stop complaining and enjoy the music. This is so good for the girls. Then again, for the fans too. Has anyone stopped to think that the people that didn't like 'BO$$' will like this? With 'Sledgehammer', they cater to a larger crowd. Because 'Sledgehammer' is nothing like 'Miss Movin' On', simply because this song is a more mature pop sound than MMO and MAMG. I could hear GRL singing this song, which in a way shows how 5H music is indeed maturing, just like they said it was going too. APPRECIATE THE MUSIC AND STOP COMPLAINING! Ps. I am holding out for an some epic Dinah solos on the album, and hopefully on another single! Although I am upset that she doesn't get to sing, yet again, I am merely holding on to the hope that she owns on another track. Some of ya'll should do the same instead of bashing Camilla.
I hope that they get a higher debut on billboard hot 100 charts, rooting for them. Dinah has a range where she can carry her voice, girl can sing. There are more songs on the album to be released so fans shouldn't be angry she might just get heer solo. Maturity is indeed part of growing up and I agree with you @Tyrun Posimani, this helps in many ways for them to not only develop themselves but also reach a larger scale of audience for their music.

Not only are they extremely talented but their humble and seem to love their fan base "Harmonizers" I gotta say, what i love about them the most is that their look is obtainable !!! All of these young fans that want to look like their teen idol can now look as beautiful as their idols! love them, their the next big thing!

I am happy they chose Camila as leading singer. We like other girls but most Harmonizers are waiting for Camila`s stunning solos. She is the soul of Fifth Harmony. Their producers understand that Camila should sing more and postponed releasing of the album. There will be more songs with Camila`s solos because BOSS ,Reflection and Them Girls Be Like had a lot of negative comments. Harmonizers just don`t want to buy songs without Camila.
SilverStrumer I think that it is a mistake to give all girls solo in the same song. It would be better if each girl had her own song in which she could sing all solo parts and the rest would harmonize in choruses. Of course Camila should have more such songs because she is the star of the group.
This song is just amazing and I'm so proud of you girls! I love Lauren's verse, I love how Ally's voice is getting strong and how she's getting her place! I'm a new fan of Fifth Harmony and I can't believe its fandom. It's literally the only fandom where its own fans hate against its own group. People are jealous cause people think Camila has more lines or is heard more on the record. Who cares? She has a versatile voice. No one seems to be arguing over the fact that Normani sang just about the whole song of Boss. I hated that song, but not because Normani sang it...it was because the lyrics were annoying. I personally think no one can say one song is better than another and speak for everyone, so I get that everyone has their own opinion. I personally think this song is better than Boss, and it's not because people seem to think Camila sings it all. There is no need to be jealous because certain parts of a fandom like one of the girls more than the others. That's not to say Dinah, Lauren, Ally, and Normani don't have great vocals as well because they do. In fact, they literally can not function without each others vocals...hence Fifth Harmony. Does anyone remember when Camila was in the hospital and the girls were freaking out because they had to completely refigure their routine and everyone had to pitch in and some how find out who could sing certain parts of Camila's parts of the song and they were overwhelmed because it was too much for one person to sing. They all need each other equally. Heck if Ally was in the hospital, they'd have trouble reaching all those high notes. Dinah? The power behind the song. Lauren? The very soul, deep tones, and meaning of the song. And do I really need to go on to Normani in order to convince you that every member of this GROUP is essential? If you don't like every member of Fifth Harmony, even if it's half as much as your favorite member, then you are not a true Harmonizer. Don't know if anyone has made this connection yet but they are basically describing how every fan feels during the meet and greets. I know I felt like this the first time I met them haha I could barely form a sentence in front of Camila. She probably was thinking just spit it out already.
All these comments about Mila (Camila) being "better than the rest of 5H" and "she should have gotten more solos" or "she should have gotten less solos". The girls get the solos depending on their vocal ranges. Normani can't hit the same notes Camila can and visa versa. Their vocal ranges are all different, and that's what makes them such a great group.

I hope Camila being the main vocalist in every song doesn't cause tension in the group. I can sense that Lauren doesn't like getting sidelined. I feel like if she doesn't get more solos she might leave, and the thing is I totally think she would be great solo, but I don't want her to leave. So I hope they let her sing more because I love her voice and I'm scared that she knows she's not getting what she deserves.

Sometimes I wonder if this is what Fifth Harmony really wanted for themselves. I loved them when they were on X-Factor, and I quite liked Miss Movin' On and Better Together. Back then I felt that they were young yet mature, fun-loving yet sophisticated, and SO talented, such that the mere display of their RAW vocals (with no ridiculous costumes or unnecessary frills) was more than enough to captivate an audience (like in A Thousand Years, and Let It Be, and Impossible). But nowadays it seems like most of their songs have a very techno, autotune or bubblegum pop feel to it with heavy background music and synthesizers. Their image has also changed to become extremely sexualised, which is very apparent in their makeup, dressing and dance moves. I wish they would go back to doing the slower ballads and R&B/soul songs that really showcase their vocal power. I wish they would focus more on giving pure, raw editions of their songs instead of hiding their deep, powerful vocals behind loud, techno music and sexy dance moves. I wish they would have more opportunities to belt long notes and have intimate moments with slower, softer songs, instead of rushing through fast and upbeat songs. They are divas who are being limited by their song productions :( Sometimes I wonder if this is what they really wanted for themselves.
All of it’s theyre management they don’t get much say in what they sing. They plan was obvious: They would be cutesy dorky teenagers for the first couple years or so selling mostly teen targeted music. The management was just waiting for them to become an appropriate age (right when Dinah turned 18-19) to sell strictly sexual music (which always always sells).
Camila is just too good to be in this group. I don`t think that she will stay in Fifth Harmony longer than for next year. We should understand that great singers shine so bright that nobody can compete with them. She outshined other girls in each song. This song is the best example.We like all these girls but they cant do anything to force Camila to stay longer in the group. Camila is just a star. It would be absurd for her to sing only several seconds in each song if as soloist she could sing the whole songs.

Taylor Gooding At boot camp they all didnt have too much time to show their talent. After Impossible Simon Cowell knew that Camila was the star of the group and she sang most important solos in live shows. Dinah was only the third singer. Lauren was second important.
Camila is just too annoying in this group, she could leave Fifth Harmony and let the divas take over the world.. ;) Her voice doesn't fit with more mature sounds, that's why their producer keep pushing the girls to sing ordinary songs like this.. if she leave the group, with those mature vocals, Ally, Dinah, Lauren, and Normani would get better chance to express their "inner diva" soul.. :D Ally and Dinah could belt out all the high notes just like Nichole Scerzinger and Beyonce, Lauren could sing her heart out just like Adele, and Normani could sing the heavenly whistle without any worry for getting ruined by Camila's annoying runs.. :D anyway, she wouldn't be a succesful solo artist, because her squeaky voice, weird smile, and flat chest.. :D
Honestly, I know I'm probably gonna hate from Camila girls for this but I don't care, this song is all Camila. I know the others get parts e.g. Ally gets the notes etc. But this is called FIFTH HARMONY for a reason, not CAMILA HARMONY. I'm still a fan, don't get me wrong. I just find the solo distrubution unfair. When the label get this right, then all the fans will be happy tbh.
I think I can try to shed a little light on the situation For promotional singles and songs they tend to turn to Camilla 1st, because every group has that one unique one out of them all, and because Camilla has that unique edge to her voice, she gets most of the promotional songs.. Ally comes 2nd because Ally is the oldest and her voice is more developed out of the whole group she also gets a lot of solos as well, and because her voice can sustain high harmonies well she gets all the high parts... Normani is the face for the group, and I'll explain the reason why, to me she is the most beautiful one out of the group, that's the 1st one, secondly, she's has the most footwork out of the group, and in all of the live performances, all eyes are on her because she's the most entertaining Lauren, comes 4th to me, I have to say Lauren is a good ass singer, her lows are pretty great, I love her C#3s in Miss Moving On, and also from that song, the Eb5s in the chorus were also Lauren, also for Lauren because she's beautiful and has great footwork as well, so to me those are the faces, so they don't get that much vocal showcasing in the studio Dinah is pretty much the one who has it all, but I think because of the fact she is the youngest one out of the group, she's the one they're holding back for a minute, but I say in a year or two, Dinah is gonna be the one to watch out for when she's cut loose. So that's my opinion on everything, and how the group is operating right now...
LaQuinton Lockett the thing about Ally is she's quite hit or miss. Some days she'll straight up kill it and others she can get shouty, pitchy and have all sorts of other issues. I also don't really like her tone. Her ease and belting range is insane though. Your theory makes sense, but I feel like they're trying to make Ally the main one. She always finds her way to the middle in every song they sing and she's a lil diva up on the stage, it's cute but irritating at times. Camila and Ally are getting old though, we need a refresher. There better be a Dinah single. They also need to start giving high notes to more people, preferably Lauren or Dinah, maybe even Mani.
MrSkinnyJeanz3 I say give the high notes to Dinah for the future, because she's already belting a G5 at 16, and her voice isn't even developed all the way yet, as for Lauren and Normani, they're gonna be killer's vocally as well, Lauren's lows are so strong and well developed all ready, so when she gets older, I'm ready to hear more from her, and Normani has a great lower register and her whistle register is great as well, she has the most range out of the group, and again she's the face, so those three are defiantly gonna be one's to watch out for in the future, because Ally and Camilla are gonna be tired out and gonna get worn out pretty soon, so that's what I think about the group further on...
LaQuinton Lockett I think the group as a whole is hit & miss tbh. I know Lauren can go higher and lower, I want to hear that. Dinah falls flat quite often and sometimes her belts aren't pleasant at all. So idk, the only true fair way is to rotate imo.

Fifth harmony has come so far since the X factor,from have hit singles,an ep,being the first girl group since 2008 and to win a vma and camila and dinah are the youngest artist to win a vma,&they are the first artist to win a vma without an album,to beating BEYONCE in the ema awards and JUSTIN BIEBER! When I found this out I cried! And sure the album might not be the best,but look where it got the girls,look where there talent got them. That's all that matters.
I really don't know why people try to deny that Camila gets a solo on every song. I like Camila just as much as I like the other girls and its kind of obvious that she's getting more parts because she has the most amount of fans, and how do you sell a song? You attract the most amount of fans (Camila's fans want to hear her) I like her voice so I don't mind her singing in every song but if anyone remembers any older girl groups, the reason many broke up was because one girl started to take on 'lead singer' and the rest backup (Pussycat dolls is a great example). I just hope that they can start giving other girls more solos so that they don't have this same feeling of being backup vocals and make it to a third or fifth album.
Guys, Stop worrying about who gets the least/most/average amount of solos. Don't worry there are still a lot more to come and their voices are like matched with the song or part and we might never know if someday a song will just be for Dinah and Lauren or Ally and Normani or Camila or Lauren (😉) or anything to be exact the thing is they match the song with their voices. No one complained when Mani was the lead in Boss. No one complained when Lauren led the EP. No one complained when Camila didn't lead Them Girls Be Like... Reality of it you guys call yourselves Harmonizers but hate on Camila. If you hate on her you're not a Harmonizer. Camila leads the pop songs. Ally n Dinah lead the slower vocally strong songs. Mani n Lauren lead the hip/hop-R&B-urbanish songs. There are 14 songs on the damn album. I'm pretty sure each will have at least 2 songs that they lead. So shut your traps and before I hit you haters with a sledgehammer.
Camila led the EP. Lauren had the second-to-LEAST solos on the EP even though she led MMO. Normani had the LEAST amount of solos of them all, which is why most people didn't complain about her leading BO$$ because she was barely present in their earlier songs (also, none of the other girls were CAPABLE of leading BO$$, which is a huge component of the Camila criticism on some songs). Also, Camila DID lead Them Girls Be Like. Her voice was the melody on the chorus, which is the definition of leading, and she also sang the bridge and most of the riffs. For the record, I don't have that much of an issue with the solo distribution for their newer songs, but collectively their songs are 60% Camila-dominated in a group with five vocally-capable girls, and that is a fact. Every girl in the group has had to take a backseat with little or NO solos on a song at some point. Every girl, that is, EXCEPT Camila. That is what bothers some people. That isn't her fault, and I don't hate her or her voice, but it is what it is. She's not everyone's favorite. I love her, but she is not Beyonce, and she hasn't needed all of the solos she has gotten.

nothlithawk777 Actually No she didn't. For many performances Lauren was put in the middle/spotlight. She was the center, Camila just had a bigger following i guess you could say. The thing is with TGBL Cam's Riff/Runs were the only things she had by herself AND PART OF THE CHORUS. AND Half the time on MAJORITY of Camila's so-called solos Normani is singing with her because they have similar tones and their voices match well. On the album thus far, Normani has Boss/Reflection... Camila has Going Nowhere/Sledghehammer. They share We know/Over. There are 8 other songs on the album... The other girls with have time to shine
Oh my gosh people... Camila leads the chorus... That's why it seems like she's singing so much but in reality the others are singing the chorus with her just in harmonized notes... Plus each of them auditions for parts of the songs and whoever's vice fits the best sings the song... Take Boss or Reflection for instance... Those are led by Normani because no one else would sound right leading... Same for Over... Like when it comes to groups, everyone can't lead on one song and some will probably hardly ever lead because it's there harmony needed to make the song sound it's best but they're still just as important as whoever's leading at the moment... I never said it was hate lol and don't get me wrong... I totally agree with what you're saying. It's just the fact that as a group, they should already know how things work and don't seem to have a problem with Camila leading. Like most of their previously made songs from better together were more upbat pop songs which is right where Camila's voice fits best. Dinah and Lauren can sing pretty much whatever and sound great but have more of a heavy sound than the others made for like ballads and stuff. Normani fits best with mid to fast tempo R&B/Sing-rapping style. Ally is a beast of a belter with a pretty tone that only fits in certain places. As of right now, the music market is most popular with pop music so those are the kind of songs they will get as of now to gain their fanbase... Once that's more established, I'm sure everyone will have more of n equal opportunity to showcase their vocals even though I'm sure they will on th rest of the album, This is just something that happens with every single group when they come out which is why I don't have that big of a problem and tbh I do get annoyed sometimes with Camila leading 90% of the time, but at the end everyone pulls their weight to make for a great song... I addition, I think their song structures should be more like that of their Right Stuff cover because that was absolutely perfect lol... Sorry for writing a book

Camila is like the Beyonce of Fifth Harmony, in terms of recognition and appearance in songs, and she's probably going to have a great solo career in the future due to her unique voice. You notice her in songs over the others because it's different.

This song is so freaking good. I think after hearing this, the album will be a masterpiece. Because if you think about it, the girls are showing so much versatility this way. They can own both the pop and r&b charts! I think the people who think this is a step back towards the EP are wrong, simply because this isn't exactly 'bubblegum pop' like the EP was. The lyrics aren't embarrassingly young, and it is so much more radio friendly. I feel like this is the single that will help them establish their name on the mainstream/international stage. Sucks I don't get to hear Dinah, again, though :( Keep it up girls!

The issue isn't that Camila gets too many solos, the issue is that she's always the one leading the chorus. She's always the one who gets the main harmony, the stepping stool for the other members. Lauren & Normani do the lower harmony, you can hear Lauren in the chorus of Going Nowhere. But Camila is leading the chorus, so it sounds like she gets more than the rest of them. If Camila didn't lead the chorus so often, like in this song as well, you wouldn't think she sang so much.
It was just like Nicole Scherzinger of the pussycat dolls to set up for the solo career, it's obvious. But this is a great song.

Has anyone stopped to think that the people that didn't like 'BO$$' will like this? With 'Sledgehammer', they cater to a larger crowd. Because 'Sledgehammer' is nothing like 'Miss Movin' On', simply because this song is a more mature pop sound than MMO and MAMG. I could hear GRL singing this song, which in a way shows how 5H music is indeed maturing, just like they said it was going too. APPRECIATE THE MUSIC AND STOP COMPLAINING!

I am happy they chose Camila as leading singer. We like other girls but most Harmonizers are waiting for Camila`s stunning solos. She is the soul of Fifth Harmony. Their producers understand that Camila should sing more and postponed releasing of the album. There will be more songs with Camila`s solos because BOSS ,Reflection and Them Girls Be Like had a lot of negative comments. Harmonizers just don`t want to buy songs without Camila.

I'm a new fan of Fifth Harmony and I can't believe its fandom. It's literally the only fandom where its own fans hate against its own group. People are jealous cause people think Camila has more lines or is heard more on the record. Who cares? She has a versatile voice. No one seems to be arguing over the fact that Normani sang just about the whole song of Boss. I hated that song, but not because Normani sang it...it was because the lyrics were annoying. I personally think no one can say one song is better than another and speak for everyone, so I get that everyone has their own opinion. I personally think this song is better than Boss, and it's not because people seem to think Camila sings it all. There is no need to be jealous because certain parts of a fandom like one of the girls more than the others. That's not to say Dinah, Lauren, Ally, and Normani don't have great vocals as well because they do. In fact, they literally can not function without each others vocals...hence Fifth Harmony. Does anyone remember when Camila was in the hospital and the girls were freaking out because they had to completely refigure their routine and everyone had to pitch in and some how find out who could sing certain parts of Camila's parts of the song and they were overwhelmed because it was too much for one person to sing. They all need each other equally. Heck if Ally was in the hospital, they'd have trouble reaching all those high notes. Dinah? The power behind the song. Lauren? The very soul, deep tones, and meaning of the song. And do I really need to go on to Normani in order to convince you that every member of this GROUP is essential? If you don't like every member of Fifth Harmony, even if it's half as much as your favorite member, then you are not a true Harmonizer.

All these comments about Mila (Camila) being "better than the rest of 5H" and "she should have gotten more solos" or "she should have gotten less solos". The girls get the solos depending on their vocal ranges. Normani can't hit the same notes Camila can and visa versa. Their vocal ranges are all different, and that's what makes them such a great group.

I hope Camila being the main vocalist in every song doesn't cause tension in the group. I can sense that Lauren doesn't like getting sidelined. I feel like if she doesn't get more solos she might leave, and the thing is I totally think she would be great solo, but I don't want her to leave. So I hope they let her sing more because I love her voice and I'm scared that she knows she's not getting what she deserves.

Sometimes I wonder if this is what Fifth Harmony really wanted for themselves.
I loved them when they were on X-Factor, and I quite liked Miss Movin' On and Better Together. Back then I felt that they were young yet mature, fun-loving yet sophisticated, and SO talented, such that the mere display of their RAW vocals (with no ridiculous costumes or unnecessary frills) was more than enough to captivate an audience (like in A Thousand Years, and Let It Be, and Impossible).
But nowadays it seems like most of their songs have a very techno, autotune or bubblegum pop feel to it with heavy background music and synthesizers. Their image has also changed to become extremely sexualised, which is very apparent in their makeup, dressing and dance moves.
I wish they would go back to doing the slower ballads and R&B/soul songs that really showcase their vocal power. I wish they would focus more on giving pure, raw editions of their songs instead of hiding their deep, powerful vocals behind loud, techno music and sexy dance moves. I wish they would have more opportunities to belt long notes and have intimate moments with slower, softer songs, instead of rushing through fast and upbeat songs. They are divas who are being limited by their song productions :(

All of it’s theyre management they don’t get much say in what they sing. They plan was obvious: They would be cutesy dorky teenagers for the first couple years or so selling mostly teen targeted music. The management was just waiting for them to become an appropriate age (right when Dinah turned 18-19) to sell strictly sexual music (which always always sells).
Camila is just too good to be in this group. I don`t think that she will stay in Fifth Harmony longer than for next year. We should understand that great singers shine so bright that nobody can compete with them. She outshined other girls in each song. This song is the best example.We like all these girls but they cant do anything to force Camila to stay longer in the group. Camila is just a star. It would be absurd for her to sing only several seconds in each song if as soloist she could sing the whole songs.

Taylor Gooding At boot camp they all didnt have too much time to show their talent. After Impossible Simon Cowell knew that Camila was the star of the group and she sang most important solos in live shows. Dinah was only the third singer. Lauren was second important.

I think I can try to shed a little light on the situation
For promotional singles and songs they tend to turn to Camilla 1st, because every group has that one unique one out of them all, and because Camilla has that unique edge to her voice, she gets most of the promotional songs..
Ally comes 2nd because Ally is the oldest and her voice is more developed out of the whole group she also gets a lot of solos as well, and because her voice can sustain high harmonies well she gets all the high parts...
Normani is the face for the group, and I'll explain the reason why, to me she is the most beautiful one out of the group, that's the 1st one, secondly, she's has the most footwork out of the group, and in all of the live performances, all eyes are on her because she's the most entertaining
Lauren, comes 4th to me, I have to say Lauren is a good ass singer, her lows are pretty great, I love her C#3s in Miss Moving On, and also from that song, the Eb5s in the chorus were also Lauren, also for Lauren because she's beautiful and has great footwork as well, so to me those are the faces, so they don't get that much vocal showcasing in the studio
Dinah is pretty much the one who has it all, but I think because of the fact she is the youngest one out of the group, she's the one they're holding back for a minute, but I say in a year or two, Dinah is gonna be the one to watch out for when she's cut loose.
So that's my opinion on everything, and how the group is operating right now...
LaQuinton Lockett the thing about Ally is she's quite hit or miss. Some days she'll straight up kill it and others she can get shouty, pitchy and have all sorts of other issues. I also don't really like her tone. Her ease and belting range is insane though. Your theory makes sense, but I feel like they're trying to make Ally the main one. She always finds her way to the middle in every song they sing and she's a lil diva up on the stage, it's cute but irritating at times. Camila and Ally are getting old though, we need a refresher. There better be a Dinah single. They also need to start giving high notes to more people, preferably Lauren or Dinah, maybe even Mani.
MrSkinnyJeanz3 I say give the high notes to Dinah for the future, because she's already belting a G5 at 16, and her voice isn't even developed all the way yet, as for Lauren and Normani, they're gonna be killer's vocally as well, Lauren's lows are so strong and well developed all ready, so when she gets older, I'm ready to hear more from her, and Normani has a great lower register and her whistle register is great as well, she has the most range out of the group, and again she's the face, so those three are defiantly gonna be one's to watch out for in the future, because Ally and Camilla are gonna be tired out and gonna get worn out pretty soon, so that's what I think about the group further on...
LaQuinton Lockett I think the group as a whole is hit & miss tbh. I know Lauren can go higher and lower, I want to hear that. Dinah falls flat quite often and sometimes her belts aren't pleasant at all. So idk, the only true fair way is to rotate imo.

I really don't know why people try to deny that Camila gets a solo on every song. I like Camila just as much as I like the other girls and its kind of obvious that she's getting more parts because she has the most amount of fans, and how do you sell a song? You attract the most amount of fans (Camila's fans want to hear her) I like her voice so I don't mind her singing in every song but if anyone remembers any older girl groups, the reason many broke up was because one girl started to take on 'lead singer' and the rest backup (Pussycat dolls is a great example). I just hope that they can start giving other girls more solos so that they don't have this same feeling of being backup vocals and make it to a third or fifth album.

No one complained when Mani was the lead in Boss. No one complained when Lauren led the EP. No one complained when Camila didn't lead Them Girls Be Like... Reality of it you guys call yourselves Harmonizers but hate on Camila. If you hate on her you're not a Harmonizer. Camila leads the pop songs. Ally n Dinah lead the slower vocally strong songs. Mani n Lauren lead the hip/hop-R&B-urbanish songs. There are 14 songs on the damn album. I'm pretty sure each will have at least 2 songs that they lead. So shut your traps and before I hit you haters with a sledgehammer.

Camila led the EP. Lauren had the second-to-LEAST solos on the EP even though she led MMO. Normani had the LEAST amount of solos of them all, which is why most people didn't complain about her leading BO$$ because she was barely present in their earlier songs (also, none of the other girls were CAPABLE of leading BO$$, which is a huge component of the Camila criticism on some songs). Also, Camila DID lead Them Girls Be Like. Her voice was the melody on the chorus, which is the definition of leading, and she also sang the bridge and most of the riffs.
For the record, I don't have that much of an issue with the solo distribution for their newer songs, but collectively their songs are 60% Camila-dominated in a group with five vocally-capable girls, and that is a fact. Every girl in the group has had to take a backseat with little or NO solos on a song at some point. Every girl, that is, EXCEPT Camila. That is what bothers some people. That isn't her fault, and I don't hate her or her voice, but it is what it is. She's not everyone's favorite. I love her, but she is not Beyonce, and she hasn't needed all of the solos she has gotten.

nothlithawk777 Actually No she didn't. For many performances Lauren was put in the middle/spotlight. She was the center, Camila just had a bigger following i guess you could say. The thing is with TGBL Cam's Riff/Runs were the only things she had by herself AND PART OF THE CHORUS. AND Half the time on MAJORITY of Camila's so-called solos Normani is singing with her because they have similar tones and their voices match well. On the album thus far, Normani has Boss/Reflection... Camila has Going Nowhere/Sledghehammer. They share We know/Over. There are 8 other songs on the album... The other girls with have time to shine

Oh my gosh people... Camila leads the chorus... That's why it seems like she's singing so much but in reality the others are singing the chorus with her just in harmonized notes... Plus each of them auditions for parts of the songs and whoever's vice fits the best sings the song... Take Boss or Reflection for instance... Those are led by Normani because no one else would sound right leading... Same for Over... Like when it comes to groups, everyone can't lead on one song and some will probably hardly ever lead because it's there harmony needed to make the song sound it's best but they're still just as important as whoever's leading at the moment... Hope that makes sense and excuse any typos if any because I'm absolutely exhausted and too lazy to read it over

I never said it was hate lol and don't get me wrong... I totally agree with what you're saying. It's just the fact that as a group, they should already know how things work and don't seem to have a problem with Camila leading. Like most of their previously made songs from better together were more upbat pop songs which is right where Camila's voice fits best. Dinah and Lauren can sing pretty much whatever and sound great but have more of a heavy sound than the others made for like ballads and stuff. Normani fits best with mid to fast tempo R&B/Sing-rapping style. Ally is a beast of a belter with a pretty tone that only fits in certain places. As of right now, the music market is most popular with pop music so those are the kind of songs they will get as of now to gain their fanbase... Once that's more established, I'm sure everyone will have more of n equal opportunity to showcase their vocals even though I'm sure they will on th rest of the album, This is just something that happens with every single group when they come out which is why I don't have that big of a problem and tbh I do get annoyed sometimes with Camila leading 90% of the time, but at the end everyone pulls their weight to make for a great song... I addition, I think their song structures should be more like that of their Right Stuff cover because that was absolutely perfect lol... Sorry for writing a book

Camila is like the Beyonce of Fifth Harmony, in terms of recognition and appearance in songs, and she's probably going to have a great solo career in the future due to her unique voice. You notice her in songs over the others because it's different.

This song is so freaking good. I think after hearing this, the album will be a masterpiece. Because if you think about it, the girls are showing so much versatility this way. They can own both the pop and r&b charts! I think the people who think this is a step back towards the EP are wrong, simply because this isn't exactly 'bubblegum pop' like the EP was. The lyrics aren't embarrassingly young, and it is so much more radio friendly. I feel like this is the single that will help them establish their name on the mainstream/international stage. Sucks I don't get to hear Dinah, again, though :( Keep it up girls!
